Dark allowed his hand to be taken and he walked to the kitchen, "What would you like?" Dark asked. "I probably have a bit of everything if you look hard enough." Dark was very glad that Alexander had chosen to eat first, cooking always takes his mind off of watever was happening.

he thought about it for a moment and though entire lists of foods came to him nothing appealed, he decided instead to take the others' earlier command to heart. 'there are many things i have not tried and until i try them how am i to know what i would like? would you make what you like most to see if it is something i could like as well?'

Dark grinned at the request, "Okay, this could take a little while." Dark opened the freezer and grabbed a chicken. He place it in a pan, set the oven to 350, and started on the sauce. "Normally people don't cook a frozen chicken but for this dish it is nessisary." Dark explained as he grabbed one of his dryed herbs. "Would you help me by grabbing the potatoes they are behind the shelf in the orange mesh bag."

he nodded and fetched the potatoes. he picked out several large ones and washed them in the sink. he found one growing eyes at the bottom of the bag when he went to put it back, he took it out and looked at the other, 'do we keep it for planting or should i cut out the bud?

"Keep it for planting," Dark replies imediatly while carefully placing the dry base inside the chicken. "Now cut up four of the larger one, don't skin them, it will taste better with the skin."

he looked for a towel, wetted it lightly and put the potato in it. he set it aside and pulled four of the five washed potatos out of the sink, he set them on the counter and looked for a knife, finding one in the drawer on the other side of dark he went back over to his food and becan to cut them into slices, when he had horizonally cut each he turned to the other, 'slices or cubed?'

Dark though for a moment, "Slices," and placed the chicken in the oven. He then headed over to the fridge and got the cheese, milk, and butter from within. He also grabbed a small ceramic dish and some thyme. "The thinner they are the better I think the dish is."

(oh! i like this dish, if you add heavy whipping cream and a little bit of bacon it's heavenly though i've never tried it with thyme)


he nodded and went to wash off the knife. he knew six ways to make this particular dish but he said nothing of it and continued to follow along

(This is my own recipe tried and true. and you should so try it with thyme, tis heavenly. I couldn't remember all the ingrediants for the chicken so I glossed over that.)
Dark waited for Alexander to finish with the potatoe then placed it in the dish. He placed the butter below the potatoes, chease on top with thyme mixed in and placed it in the oven. "If this works right the cheese will melt over the potatoes with the thyme mixing in. I know several varations of the recipe but this is my favorite, unfortunatly no bacon right now."

(sorry, my mom is the one with the magic touch, and i don't visit her often haha, but now i'mma make her make it for me next time i go over. you should add a couple strips of bacon under the cheese but over the rest and pour a light drizzle of cream over the whole thing, the bacon is only for flavor though not an added food, feed it to someone you don't like haha)



he looked at the oven then at the other 'and until it is done, what are we to do?'

"While we wait for it to finsih we could make a salad or something else." Dark thought for a moment, "Actually we need to set the table too, so we should do that and get drinks." Dark headed towards the cupboard before remembering the Alexander would be confused on a couple of things, "Drinks you can have right now are water and milk, if you want something else we will pick it up tomarrow in town."

he nodded, he was not interested in either beverage though so he declined to say anything on them, he followed closely behind the other. his thought were not on proper plate ediquite however. he spoke 'may i tell you a story?' he waited for the other to turn around

Dark turned around after he grabbed the plates, "Sure," he said shrugging. He walked into the dining/living room and placed the plates on the table. Dark then pulled two glasses from the hutch (China cupboard) with a grin, "Dunkle Kristall, only clean glasses currently." The ware was aptly named for instead of the opaque color crystal glasses normal took they were a smoky grey color.

he smiled lightly 'it is fine' he followed behind 'the little boy stayed in the tree until it grew dark, as he climbed down the tree, the little twig man in his pocket, the fairy warned him if he took the little man from the forest the little man could never come back to it or the magic would be broken. the boy accepted this and took the little man home, as he left the cool dark embrace of the forest his little stick man transformed into another little boy, one with fingers and toes and eyes, a little boy just like any other but for his eyes, they stayed the vibrant shade of green the tree had been, the forest was in those eyes. they went to the small house hand-in hand then.' he stopped, his story was still not done but he had no more to tell so he stopped, he wondered how the end would come out but did not push for an answer, he knew the story would tell itself in time. he looked at the other who had sat down at the table to listen.

"An ongoing story?" Dark said as he stoof up from the table. He wanted to here more but he got the feeling Alexander had nothing more to tell right now. Dark made it to the sink before he almost colasped, "Damnaigh." Slipped past his lips before he could stop it, he hoped Alexandr was not familiar with Irish swear words. His head was poinding and Dark knew he had had another migrane attack.

he rushed to the other. he did not know what had happened, one moment they were fine and the next the other looked as if he had been struck. 'my lord!' he cried forgetting dark's command that he not use that title anymore. wraping an arm around the other he pulled him upright searching over his lord with his eyes. 'where are you injured?' he could see no damages.
