This Thread has all the Rare item previews. (to my knowledge its up to date.)
Most commons if not all can be previewed in the shops.

Runes can be traded from user to user, but its a currency someone gets for donating to the site.
Each month there are 3 monthly items one cause be gotten with Au. (our site currency that we get from posting) the others are with runes. (those are found in the Archaic Antiquities Shop)

Yearlies are also gotten with runes. and I believe that the ones that are up now are leaving soon. I'm not sure the exact date though.

Thats some basic stuff to keep in mind when looking for items
