Alex opened his eyes to a white screen, waiting for his eyes to adjust he realized it wasn't his alarm that was waking him up but another text. This time he read it thinking it might have been an emergency. He smiled, some one was clearly over their head. Most of the responses that instantly came to his mind were more along the lines of killing him or what many would consider abuse. He pondered this while getting dress and sent Kent back a message saying 'Don't do anything, just be there to say I told you so....' Alex tried to think of any other advice he could think of when he read the other text as well. 'and I told you, you were in my chair' was the only response he gave before snapping his phone shut to hunt vampires.

Kent pouted at the responses. 'was that the only reason....for the chair..?' He had hoped there was more than that. Alongside the face wiping and that. It looked like he could have a crush or something on Kent. 'jee thanks...I'll go strangle him now' was the other text response as he set out to get some sort of buzz so he could get some good sleeping in later. He was only out looking for a shot or two of some liquor. He would sleep soundly after that. He didn't keep alcohol in the house, so to the pub he went. He brought Jeremy along with him so they could all come to an agreement of sorts. He was about ready to throw Jeremy out to get caught again.

He set his phone on silent just in case he got any more messages. He didn't want any noise to make him look suspicious and give him away while he was trying to hunt. The first thing he did was retrace his steps from the previous night making sure that no other vampires were out getting revenge. After staking two blood suckers but getting no closer to finding a nest, Alex's stomach let out an angry growl. As he made his way home, Alex decided to stop in the pub, hoping they were still serving food instead of just drinks. He was surprised and both not surprised to see Kent. It was after all his families pub. He decided to sneak up on him considering how much fun it was to play jokes on the man. He reached around putting him in a head lock.

Kent wasn't caught off guard as the family warned him, letting out a yelp anyway when he was nuggied. "oww quite it. You're out late aren't you?" He asked, downing his second shot of about 3. That was all he needed. He warned Jeremy to have a low profile, for the family's sake. They didn't need another mishap like Lexxi he reminded him. "so what can we do for you? I'm here having my sleeping meds." He joked, feeling a little lightheaded but not the slight bit drunk. That was the last thing he needed tomorrow...a hangover.

He didn't exactly let him go but did loosen his hold on the man, he wanted him to be able to breathe. “my aren't we selfish, it just isnt enough that I want to be with you.” Alex's eyes flickered towards the glass, no wonder he was so grumpy when he was woken up. “I came for food, I missed dinner doing my other job.” Finally he released the man and took a seat beside him. “I hope you guys still serve more then alcohol, its the only place I could find open that still serves really good food.” He waved at the bartender for a simple rum and coke gingerly taking sips of it to ease away his hunger. “I take it Jeremys knocked out?” He finally asked considering Kent was in the pub.

"More like being scolded. He's here too somewhere....wait. You want to be with me...aww...really now? seriousness? Cause if you're joking. That's mean." Kent pouted, putting on his most innocent face as possible. "there's still...bar food. Wings and stuff like that." The last thing Kent needed was human food, or any really. He was content when he left. The alcohol provided the rest. He was partly joking about what he'd said on the wanting to be with him part, though deep down he kind of wanted to know.

Bar food, Bar food meant something completely starch loaded so that people would drink more. He was not in the mood for wings but something messy was always nice. He ordered himself some chilli cheese fries and watched the bar tender walk off towards the kitchen to fulfill his order. “What do you mean hes here? Shouldn't he be in bed?” Alex couldn't help but ask. He had been a teacher for so long some natural parenting was starting to rub off on him. “Nope, just horny as hell.” He said with a chuckle. He was really going to pay for that but for him it was probably best to hold his cards close to his chest. It was unclear how many enemies he had, and best not to have another liability. “Haven't you ever dreamed of having sex at work?”

"Jeremy is being ridiculed for not listening to me. Maybe it'll work out better now. What can I say I guess I'm just too nice." Kent rolled his eyes at his latter comment, thinking it was typical. "No surprise there I guess. And nope, can't say I have." He couldn't help but laugh at the thoughts in his head. "You're sounding like a very cheap whore right now." Kent dug around his pocket, pulling out a dollar. "How far will that get me?" He joked, messing up his hair a bit as payback for the chokehold.

“Cheap huh,” Alex pondered rising to the mans ruse, “how about this?” he stood up and gave Kent a kiss but pulled back before it became anything serious. It then snatched the dollar out of his hand before relaxing with his elbow on the bar. “And how many more dinners must I take you out on Mr gigolo? Or should I just give you my car?” Alex gave the dollar back to Kent. “What is Jeremy in trouble for?”

[Uzekins]

"mmm very cheap. though I'm not up for one night stands. You didn't even mention the chair. It's going to be mad at you tomorrow." Kent laughed, playing footsies with him under the table. "He's in trouble for being unruly and having an inferiority complex alongside having a problem with authority or guardianship." He sighed, downing the last shot. He was set to sleep anytime now. He was just waiting on Jeremy at this point. Though the stupid kid had run off down the alley. Kent wondered why he came in so late for a meal to begin with. "you going to sleep anytime soon?"

“If I recall my chair got to hard.” He said giving Kent a mischievous sideways glance. “I might have to find a new one.”
He listened to what was wrong with the kid. It didn't sound to out of the ordinary for a teenager. It made Alex wonder how old he was. “Nice little rebel, I think I'd like to meet him. Maybe I can help.” He found himself offering. To the sleeping question that answer was simply a shrug and a smile as the bartender brought him his food.

"and who'se fault was it to grind into said chair?" Kent giggled a bit. "If ya want to try and help. I suggest spending the night." 'okay guys go clean out the house of anything suspicious, just bring it here. But keep the thermos well supplied and the cellar locked.' He hoped they would do this now as he would stall until it was cleared. "you have no idea...16 is a terrible age for spoiled brats. So. would you like to come over?"

“Its my chair, I can do what ever I please in that chair.” At this point Alex couldn't tell if Kent was drunk or not. If he wasn't there wasn't any harm in spending the night, if he was then he couldnt let him go home by himself and risk him getting turned into a monster like his cousin. “Alright I'll come over and kick your cousin's ass” He motioned for a to go container not wanting his food to go to waste. “How far away do you live? Do you mind if we go by my place first so I can get my stuff for tomorrow?”

"Sure. I'm like by the school" Kent slurred slightly not completely drunk but not completely sober either. 'you guys have the house cleared yet...and where's Jeremy?' he got a yes for the first but they couldn't figure out where he'd gotten to. He was going to tell them to hunt him down but he finally returned. "done here are you?" He gave him a stern look and he bowed his head in shame, though it was an act of sorts. "ready when you are" Kent nearly fell, grabbing on to the other's shirt and pulling himself up.

So this was Jeremy. Alex turned to get a look at him when it turned out that Kent really was drunk. He didn't let the teen handle his guardian by himself instead grabbed Kents arm and put it around his shoulders then used his free arm to support him around the waist, lifting him up bride style to make things go faster. Tomorrows paper work could wait, he thought as he prayed that Kent wouldn't throw up on him. “Hi Jeremy, Care to help me get your cousin home? You can kick his ass later for being a neglectful guardian. I'll carry if him if you can drive.” Alex was banking on the kid having his permit.

Jeremy thought for a moment. "Sure I can drive...it's drag racing isn't it? that counts right?" He was one of the top speedy kids in his last town. Kent really didn't like what he heard. "I needed sl....eep. Thasall" He clung to the man, nuzzling him some like a soft pillow. He was still young himself, not really a parental figure as it was his first time ever....babysitting? Jeremy waited for the orders so he could fill his need for speed, especially when he seen the car.
