I knew hardly any Beatles songs until Rock Band came out with the Beatles version. And watchign Across the Universe helped too. Awesome movie.

If you like music or visual wierdness Across the Universe is a great movie. It basically takes a bunch of Beatles songs and weaves them into a story set in the sixties around the Vietnam war. It has cameos by Bono (U2) and Joe Cocker and a few other musicians that I don't recognise myself. Fun. They change the songs around a little bit too so they aren't quite the same. For instance, "Let it Be" is sung gospel style and "Oh Darling" is strung out almost like the blues but heavier.

Sure! I only know Joe Cocker because I heard him referenced in another movie and saw a skit on Saturday Night Live where his gestures were made fun of. He sorta movies around a lot when he sings. I'm sure I could find the skit on Youtube if SNL stuff is there.

Alas, the banders are in need of a drummer so I shall away!

As close as I can get right now. Not perfect, but good enough for the time being. :). Ideally, he needs somethign more like a tunic and vest and his boots should be brown.
