I'd say I'm pretty neutral on being quoted in a signature, tbph. but sometimes, someone just says something that needs to be preserved for posterity's sake.

it's the equivalent of framing them up on my wall: if i quoted you in my signature it means i want to read what you said over and over again, at random times whenever my eyes happen to fall on the quote
