Ants are tidy, so I don't mind them that much. But fire ants are monsters and can go extinct for all I care.

we have only common house ants (I mean, here at home fortunately) but they're everywhere >:UUUU so annoying

Yeah, I'd rather have them over roaches. Roaches poop everywhere. Fire ants unfortunately can kill larger animals though.

we have rainbow-coloured beetles here, they are pretty but eat everything

There's the occasional weird but neat bugs I can't identify, but nothing like rainbow beetles. I can't seem to upload one for some reason.

I almost got stung by a centipede the other day, not sure if it was the more poisonous type.

I thought the spiders would take care of everything. But I guess the poisonous kill spiders, too.

It is also asp season, which means you have to watch out for a particular stinging caterpillar who is known for an extremely painful sting. Sometimes they fall out of trees though.

Unless you have read the ingredients on your salami, there is, in fact - as weird as it may sound - a reasonable chance it does contain sugar. I kid you not.
