Depends on where in Montana you are, but there really are more mountains than plains.
And, not to get too defensive or anything, but I feel like anyone who hasn't been to Montana (and really been around the state more than just staying in one area) has no room to say anything about it.

People like to make fun of Montana and anyone from there, but not all if us fit the stereotype that has been created...

I'm from Idaho which is right next to Montana. Helena is seen as a cool place to move to when trying to escape Idaho. Idaho is also in the 5-8 years behind the rest of the country group as well.

I have no plans for New Years Eve.
I don't understand the fuss over all the holidays, but that is just me.
I'm not much of a holiday person.

The stereotype is that people in Montana are all a bunch of uneducated redneck/hick cowboys and farmers who ride horses everywhere.
And as far as population....yeah...it seems like we don't have many people. Partly because yeah, we only have just over 1 million people...but those 1 million people are spread out across 147,164 square miles. But it also means that we have lower crime rates than states with a higher population density.
For example, where my dad lives, he doesn't have to actually worry about locking his house when he's out of town or locking his car.

Kitarun: I have these really weird dreams that I know sometimes mean something, luckily I barely remember them. I am very affected by what I watch and read so I make sure it is not horror movie or thrillers. I don't like being scared.

Kad: vermont was like that a while ago, but we have much less land but also little population, except in places like the "big" cities, like Burlington. I live out in the country and our crime is basically based on drugs, heroin, etc. VErmont has a huge problem with substance abuse especially heroin and pills.
