Pocket Demon Ninja
Default TokyoPop Returning   #1
So after a long time of being shut down it seems Tokyopop is making a small comeback! Their website is relaunched and they are slowly getting things to put out there.

http://tokyopop.com/an-example-of-company-news-article/

Now I hope they pick up some of the manga they had dropped when they closed down. Mainly "Monochrome Factor" and I hope they get the Licenses to "Drug & Drop" which is the continuation of "Legal Drug" which Tokyopop had done.

They are small but I'm sure they can get back to their former glory

What manga do you hope they get a hold of?
Are you happy their back?
How long do you think they'll survive?

I don't know. I think once they get some what bigger again the ones that are Print on Demand or what ever will get shipped to stores. but since a good deal of the demand is for the e-readers it'll probably be just an internet thing now >x<

Are they keeping their price point at 9.99? That's what I loved most about them, thier books had a flat rate all across the board...not like Dark Horse, where shit's expensive yo

God I'm glad to hear that, I LOVED TokyoPop they were my favorite company, mainly because they gave artists and writers in America a chance to publish their works through the company

The Lord of Mushrooms
The older mangas are $9.99 and the newer ones spiked their prices to $15.99 (which is more than dark horses). which I'm like..."yea, amazon is better"

they could not get a renewal on the license for legal drug even before they shut down so i am not holding my breath for that one but since half of all my manga is tokyopop i am glad they are trying to come back XD
