The professor took a moment to gather himself as he was now looking up at Zosa instead down. He cleared his throat. "Zosa, I want to buy a house on your uncles island. I prepared a pros and cons chart detailing my reasons for this choice, but there are mainly three. I can not buy a boat and live with you, I can not live with your sister interrupting us, and I... frankly your uncle makes me nervous some times and I do not like the way you revert to being a Zosa I am not familiar with to please them." He took another deep breath. "Zosa I would like to buy a house on your uncles island."

feeling a tichtness in his chest and a prickle behind his eyes he distracted himself with a chaste kiss to felix's hairline, "oh felix.... i... i want to get married. i don't have a chart and i only have one reason and i don't even have the words to voice it....please marry me"

Even expecting it, even wanting it, it felt like a swift blow to the chest. For a while he stared blinking at the green eyes above him. He did not want to say no, but yes was the eventual forever that scared him to his core. He was older then the boy and there was no changing facts that Zosa would be left alone. The professor swallowed deeply as Zosa leaned in close, kissing along his weakness and whispering his name, bagging for what he wanted most. Twisting he captured the lips before resting his forehead in the nook of Zosa's shoulder. "Only between us." The professor closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as if he just plunged into a pool of cold water and he embraced Zosa close to his body. His lips opened and closed gathering some of the flesh in a gentle suck.

it was a bitter victory and he was not sure if the pain was a good one or bad. he finally got the answer he wanted but the stipulation was a cruel one. he did not regret it however and relaxing in the hold breathed a soft agreement into the other man's ear, "just us, and we will honeymoon in our new home"

He laughed some what giddily, "Then before we consummate our marriage there is something I need to give you, that is past over due."

he did not understand and pulling away he tilted his head, "what is that felix?"

The professor pulled away from the bed and walked over through his personal belongings. He uncovered a small jewelry box that started to play a tune and quickly he shut it back before walking over to Zosa once more. He knelt before him kissing his left hand, and in silence he slipped the ring into its rightful place.

it did not fit well and felt loose over his hand but the hue of the stone and patina of the metal made up for it tenfold, he smiled softly and tried not to cry, "felix...?"

He merely nodded and pressed his lips to Zosa's not asking for any more words. Gliding the bodies back among the bed, his kisses turned into something more and after all their ecstasy was expelled he lay once more in Zosa's arms, this time the gleam of the ring could be seen against the noon day sun. The professor closed his eyes. No regrets.

it was evening once more when they finally left the house courtesy of olessya's grandson, it was to get felix a ring to match the one on his own hand as well as to get a sizer so his would not fall off

It secretly amused him to watch Zosa twist the ring about his finger. "I am surprised that you of all people were ill prepared for today." He mused. "Most people have the ring before they propose." He leaned across the back seat covering Zosa's hand with his own. "As I said before since we are so unorthodox, I am just fine with the watch. " He said knowing how much it meant to the boy and time its self.

shaking his head he twisted for a kiss, "no, i need to get you a ring only i wanted you to be ready for it. i would wait forever for you even if i seem impaitent.....but i want you to choose the ring. i want you to choose how we will do this, i am not like the commander, i want you to be happy and regret nothing"

The professors mouth moved in small o. He blinked pursing his lips together. "Then if I wish it, you will get matching tattoos?... we can get a kit so that it will not hurt." He said bringing the boys hand to his lips. "And what if there is no ring that I like?"

"......" biting his lip he looked at the other, "....if it made you happy i would..." this time the kiss was to take the bad taste from his mouth at the thought before moving one to the other question, "one will be made, no expense spared"

The kissing hand turned into a stroke and his lips frowned at Zosa's discomfort. "Do not worry Zosa, it is not painful and I will find a ring that pleases me."
