when she picked up skittles she found him munching on a burger and looking as much angry as contemplative. she didn't bother to ask what was on her little brother's mind and simply unlocked the door so he could get in

When he saw his friend she asked about the skittles and he merely said he was in the mood for them. From then the boy had simply became a faded memory. He did not expect a call from him or quite frankly to see him again. Some days passed and Jordon had even forgotten the boys name. He had paused to stop in the local grocery store. Their apartment was out of milk and food and he wanted to see if the latest issue of MAC was on the news stands. He found himself strolling down the candy isle nearly bum-rushed by a dark haired person trying to reach the skittles.

it seemed as if he could not find any good luck today and as he rushed to get his snack and pay for it before he missed another bus he found himself tripping over some stupid fool idly loitering near the middle of the isle. rolling off of his now bruised knees he offered a curse to the bastard and tried to continue on to where the rainbow snacks were located

He looked down at the fallen person with the rude mouth and despite him muttering profanities he offered his hand only to realize the boy looked some what familiar. "Are you alright?"

he refused the hand and instead brushed off his knees, "should have figured though at least this time you didn't grope me"

He pulled his hand back to his chest repeating the words mentally. He pursed his lips trying to remember where he met the boy before. "Oh its rainbow or Chansey." He said with a grin. "Still using shit to express your higher brain functions?"

he gave a disgusted sigh and left the other in pursuit of the snack and continuing down the isle made to go around so he would not have to look at the bastard again

He looked up and watched the boy with mild amusement before his attention was drawn to the hustle of the street and a man running across the windows to catch the large bus. He noted with a little dismay that he would have to buy an umbrella. Unintentionally he drifted towards Skittles again "Don't you like to eat anything else?" He wondered idly.

this time he did not hold back his anger and spinning around he jammed his finger into the chest of the other boy, "look you, you keep stalking me, you keep insulting me and i swear to god you keep hitting on me. stop or so help me i am going to knock your block off"

When the finger touched his chest again he grabbed it and kept it from going back to the boy. "Then do it... but no offense if you can't see when some one is just trying to be nice and friendly then you are going to have a long miserable life." He picked up a bag of skittles and added it to his cart, then he released the boy. "I will do you one last favor since I took your skittles." He moved away from the grump to head towards the check out line.

leaving him alone was hardly a 'favor' though he took it all the same and not bothering to get another bag he circled the corner of the isle and hastily beat a retreat back to the busstop

Surprisingly he could not find Skittles when he toted his bags to his car. He had just enough time to get to get inside before the rain started to pick up. He started to pull off when he noticed the dark haired figure waiting at the bus stop, and stalled his car. He pulled his new umbrella from the back seat along with the bag of Skittles out of his stash and walked to the bus stop shielding both of them from the rain. "Here are your skittles, would you like an umbrella?"

"hey," he growled indignantly, "i told you i'm gonna' punch you if you keep harassing me, what part of that don't you get? it's like you are trying to make my life as miserable as you can"

He pressed the skittles into the hands of the angry boy and moved the umbrella so that it covered both of them. He smiled "Yep..." He said rather sardonically. "long and miserable, especially since the bus just left." He shook his head with the same grin, wondering if the kid really would punch him.

at first there was an upwelling of anger but as quickly as it came it left him and slumping his shoulders he gave a defeated sigh, "damnit....i really, really cant afford to bum a ride off my sister but i so don't want to wait another half hour in the rain for a damn bus. today just sucks"

His smile dropped, he really was making the boys day worse. "Geeze, how far away do you live? I mean as long as you don't punch me in the face I don't mind giving you a ride."
