Galvin shook his head as he corrected his writing. "Think of being a hunter as taking a rudimentary course on sex education. They tell you hoq to have sex, if you have sex, you have babies. They do not tell you about foreplay or how to stick it in where or other fun things. Just the basics. Vampires are the bad guys with mind powers. They control humans and are unholy un-dead demons that were put here to test mankind's will power against sin. Ultimately if un checked they will bring the world to destruction." It was finally his turn to pour himself a glass of wine out.

he listened to the religious hate-speech bubbling out of pyce and it made him angry though just as much it reminded him that pyce was not just another down-on-his-luck man but one of the more influential and dangerous of their family's associates. "i see... though how much of that do you believe now?"

Idly his hand moved to his collar and slipped past the fabric. "I understand that if every one had the most fashionable disease known to man, there would be no man left to feed it." He shifted in his seat. Instead of looking at the man in front of him, he gazed at Ambrosias reflection in his cup. "I understand there are those born with it, those that will do anything to have it, and those that are abducted and forced into it. We are all human on some level or another. You can still bleed and produce children. " He fell into silence for a long time. "Is there anything else you want to teach me?"

lightly he shrugged and finding his glass took another sip. "no."

Galvin raise and eye brow. He watched Ambrosia and once the other was about to take another sip, he put his hand over the mans cup, offering him a cut of meat on the end of a fork instead.

he took the bite reflexively though he remembered his stand when the meat was in his mouth and discreetly swallowing he gave a small resigned sigh. "please do not, i will be cordial because we are partners, i will be nice because i am fond of you but you have already let me know how little you think of me. do not play as if there is nothing wrong." pulling the glass from the man's grip he drank it in one take, "i am not drunk enough to pretend it isn't wrong"

He took his glass back and wanted to scream at the other. He poured another cup for himself and Ambrosia. Galvin silently he went back to his meal.

he managed four more glasses and most of his kobe before he felt comfortable enough to speak again and setting his plate to the side clasped his hands together over the table so that he could rest his chin, "what would it cost be for you to pretend for one night that you love me? i cannot offer you anyone's life or family secrets but anything else you may ask for"

Galvin held his composure, continuing to chew his food before speaking. Even then there was a long considerable silence from him. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath and set his utensils down. If Ambrosia wanted to treat this like a deal once more he was fine with it. “It would depend on how much love you want and what that details.” He said happy to have his drink to wash away the bad taste in his mouth.

he felt relieved that he was not turned down right away though he did not let the other see. "what you pretended to have for me in france. i wish for that and i wish to buy a day of it"

It was not pretending, and each time the other said so felt like a blow to the chest and his heart was being twisted and clawed out. He said nothing as he considered the others offer. He had trained his face not to give away his thoughts. "Which day did you have in mind?"

his first response was immediately and his second was tomorrow but they had still not negotiated the price of this farce and he knew better than to let his cards show. "your next day off, what if your price?"

"When ever I schedule myself off. As it stands Next Saturday is free." He folded his hands in a bridge in front of him and let his lips kiss his fingers. He was not naive enough to ask for the other to reverse his spell. Twisting his head he thought hard and a small smile crept its way on to his lips. Another day like France..."The first one is on the house, though the second one... if you wish will require you to cook me dinner."

he did not like the sound of it. the only time something was offered for free was before a hike in price and the second did not qualify as anything of the sort. he nodded. "saturday then, where shall i pick you up?

He shrugged. "My apartment is fine, just give me a call before you do so." He forked another piece of meat wanting to offer it to the man. "Am I planning this day?"

he did not accept the proffered bite. "no, i wish to pick how the evening is spent. i do not have the freedom to do what i want whenever i please any longer so i will not waste what i get"
