It's beautiful but you have to get use to different lingo. XD I remember coming over and hearing someone calling someone a cow.. I thought they meant the animal till my mom said, that means whore.. I was like, whoa..

Yep and a fag is a cig. XD
Also the accent sometimes makes it harder to understand what someone is saying.

I swear, I don't know where you lived before, because where I am in the states, calling someone a cow is a pretty common insult with about that meaning... And pretty sure cow still means cow, too, over there.
Differences in accents and vernacular and such always interest me. ![]() ![]()

I've always thought cow was a reference to an overly top-heavy build myself...

I lived in the country/small town and I never heard any American person call a female a cow unless they were saying the female was fat.
And don't give someone from Scotland the V sign, it means the same as the middle finger in America. Ah, there's many different dialects, all depending what area of Scotland your in. My mate has a hard dialect sometimes to work out while my next door neighbour's daughter, I can make out every word she says.

... I know more slang than I should probably admit to. Granted, that doesn't mean I can use it worth a shit.
Some've the jank I hear 'round these parts is right trifflin'. A good amount of mixing and matching, especially if you keep company with different ages, it can be strikingly different. Gettin' harder to find folks with a strong native accent, too. Mine's a lot more Southern than the rest've my family, but even then it fades in and out a bit. ![]() ![]()
