Wow, so they pay you a lot more. That is pretty nice ^^ You'll have a nice boost in cash compared to most waitresses- as long as you make tips. That's where the money is at for that field.

Because where I live they play you below min wage because you make tips. I also do not get tips and only make minimum wage. xD
