it was 'only japan' in a lot of places, they contribute a lot of the gizmos and psudo-culture all of the largest countries thrive on, none of the small countries and places were given coverage outside of fring internet media and local coverage and some of the larger ones were ignored as well, it was all 'save japan'

it is a matter of 'x number of people are hurt, who do you help your best friend or the one who needs it most' >> most people would choose the friend and there is something to be said about bandwagons

hearing nothing of the others, i had no reason to think saving Japan was a bad cause. I see your point though.

I tend to ignore the media/news for the most part...too much drama and too many lies in it today...

Now that I have moved away fro my parents, and no longer have TV, I'm completely detached from the media. I Don't listen to radio, buy papers or anything. A world war could break out without my really knowing..

I tend to avoid internet news, as it can have even more bias than the news o-o And all the comment rages and stuff..
