i just got my 100 waters achievement... the thing is i am at 118 waters


is this just site lag? i have been over 100 waters for a day now

The achievements only tally how many waters you've earned through posting and finding them around the site. Did you trade any waters?

nope, i have not bought sold or traded, i know plenty enough about event grants(i have been part of every event the site has had) which is why this bothers me, generally tris is good with grants

Well now that's curious. I do see the discrepancy in your water total vs. your achievement progress, and I don't see any trades in your history. But I DON'T see that discrepancy on a random sampling of other users (except for myself). Maybe it's just because you're staff; perhaps you started earning before I turned on the achievement tracking? (That's true of me.)

maybe, did you note when /you/ started earning? i know i got on fairly soon after the even started

I started before the event started, as part of testing. So my achievements are lagging behind my actual totals.

so it might be that, could you check any of the other staff? if any of them have lag too then we found the culprit

Mine is consistant and happened right on the number, but I didn't get to posting until the event was already underway for half a day or so.
