Glitch: Not sure what type of phone you have, but if you go into settings there should be a spot to chang yhe keyboard settings and autocorrect should be an option.

For me, I can find it 2 ways:
1: Settings>language & input>default keyboard settings>autocorrect
2: When the keyboard is up, hit the cog wheel settings icon>autocorrect
