Unable to Logout? | #1 | ||
I tried to log out of Trisphee using the Logout link on the upper left hand side.
I was told that my cookies have been cleared, like normal. However, when I clicked the Home to log in as my mule I was still logged in as Perfectly Wicked. This is a new problem for me. Should I manually delete my cookies in the mean time? I am Cannibal, Cannibal, Cannibal, I am. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, I'll eat you up.

Yeah just trisphee cookies, manually. Also reset your router/modem box.

I already reset it when I noticed the problem, with no results.
I just reset it a second time, I am still unable to logout using the link. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, Cannibal, I am. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, I'll eat you up.

this wont fix the problem but if you want to use your mule, use a different web browser and sign in on it from there. Thats how i'm getting around the problem for now anyways..

FireFox.
It sounds like a cookie issue. Thanks, Masqu! I am going to just clear the Tris cookies for now. I only have FireFox and am too lazy to get Chrome or some such. I run off Linux so I don't already have EI or Safari. : ( I am Cannibal, Cannibal, Cannibal, I am. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, I'll eat you up.

Be sure to close all of your browser windows after deleting the cookies, before you do anything else.

Cleared all cookies, just in case, and the problem is solved.
Also closed all windows. I was able to log in and out several times using the links. Thanks guys. :] I am Cannibal, Cannibal, Cannibal, I am. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, I'll eat you up.

I haven't had any problems with Google Chrome. I recommend this web browser to anyone having troubles logging out. Not to mention, nice themes? Heck yes! xD

That's a bit misleading. Switching to a new browser will ALWAYS fix the problem. No browser is immune to it (except for browsers that clear all cookies when you shut down) but switching to a new browser is equivalent to clearing your cookies and restarting.
Chrome is a good browser, one of the two best choices for using Trisphee because of the coding techniques I used when making it, but it's not a magic bullet.

Actually, I had this same problem just over a week back and I had accounts logged in with both firefox and chrome. When I found that I had the problem with chrome, I tried to log out from firefox too and found neither would log me out. The only thing that works is manually clearing the cookies.

lol, You're the best Coda. xD
This is obviously a cookie issue, so I wouldn't suggest doing anything crazy. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, Cannibal, I am. I am Cannibal, Cannibal, I'll eat you up.
