[Cheesecake]

Alexander's eyes fluttered a little bit, but he could barely form any words or eye focused on who was carrying him. He could only feel someone toting him and hear footsteps on the ground. He was thinking the worst of himself and his master like they were done for. Of course, he had recieved a few more cuts and blows, he still was sad that his master was hurt. He looked at it as being the loss of his company. Even though he was abused, he was treated poorly, he still loved the fact there was someone who acknowledged him.

Tar had been unconscious after knowing his men came to the rescue. He and the boy were in one of the beds as his men had other rooms for themselves. A few of them kept around the clock guard on them. Tar stirred in his sleep, becoming almost conscious as he groaned when he shifted. He would wake up in a few hours as he'd smell food.

[Cheesecake]

Alexander was knocked out cold. He had been patched up, you could see the blood stains that leaked on his bandages. He had been changed into newer undergarments that some of the men had bought him, they also treated him to some new clothes since the blood stain would be hell to get out of his old clothes.

[Uzekins]

Tar woke to the smell of the food, sitting up and cringing as the would had hurt. He had some other milder wounds, but that was a killer. He looked over as he propped up the pillows. He noticed the boy was there as he was sleeping, noticing the bloodstains on his bandages. He then thought to check his own which were in the same condition. He would ask him what happened after he'd wake up. He got one of his men to bring in some soup as he could eat that and not be in harm's way.

Alexander felt something tickle his nose. It turned out to be his own finger. He also smelled something that seemed tasty, of course knowing the position he was in wouldn't give him any of it. He just set his eyes on his master for a little while and eventually closed them back and dozed off.

[Uzekins]

Tar mostly had broth as it was easy to swallow and not hurt. He had two bowls of the stuff, leaving a little for the boy whenever he'd get up. He figured it better be soon if his wounds were not really bad. He still had no idea what had happened. All he knew was they were attacked then found by his men. He hoped the boy'd wake soon as the soup would cool and turn ice cold in no time.

(( FINE. I WILL WAKE HIM UP. I was hoping you'd wake him up. XD ))

Alexander woke from his doze. He tried to sit, it hurt so bad, and his eyes got a little watery. But the finally sat up. He didn't know what he was going to eat, but him stomach was making large, roaring sounds and while he was holding on to him stomach, he was pressing against some of his wounds and that inflicted damage to him.

[Uzekins]

Tar looked over as his prize had finally woke up. He offered him the leftover broth in the bowl as he propped up the others pillows to sit easier. He was in rough shape but didn't know why. "what the hell happened out there? Do you know?" He demanded answers, still being a little cranky mainly due to being sore.

((he would have if he'd know he was saved by his boi lol...but alas))

[Cheesecake]

"W-well sir, after you got injured a few more people came and tried to kill you, but I took your sword and tried to protect you, I am just glad you made it out alive," Alexander said weakly. Alexander took the bowl of broth and finished it up.

[Uzekins]

Tar was dumbfounded. "you...really? do you have proof of this?" He wanted to make sure. If it was true. He would probably treat him a bit better. But if he was lying just to show a little glory, he would probably abuse him more than he ever had. He was at least glad he was loyal. He could have ran off to let him die.

[Cheesecake]

"Well, sir, would I have the scars? I could easily run away or worse to get away. Seeing how their feet were red, they have been walking bare foot on the ground for quite some time, their feet would have been on fire trying to chase after me," Alexander said.

[Uzekins]

"I guess...but I'm still not fully convinced unless maybe somebody witnessed anything? But I'll trust you for now." Tar said, shifting in the bed a bit. He was not going to like things very much, not being able to go on with his usual scheduled events until he healed enough and til his prize was healed enough so nothing would open those wounds. He ordered a fresh thing of the broth after he was done, giving him a full bowl and warm one for once.

[Cheesecake]

"Well, that's reasonable, sir," Alexander said, while excepting the warm bowl of broth. He felt very grateful towards his master. He didn't take a second to hesitate, he drank the broth up. His eyes rolled back into his had a little bit and he fell back asleep.

[Uzekins]

Tar tucked the boy in when he fell asleep again, knowing resting would probably heal the wounds quicker. He questioned the men when they came in to check up on them every once in a while. They'd said how they found them and sure enough the boy had protected him from being harmed more than he already had been. It made him think, feeling a bit guilty at how he'd treated him in the past. But really he was only rough with him for certain things. He decided to sleep a bit more as well, resting as he got closer to the boy. He would have cuddled up if they weren't wounded.

Alexander had a dream, it wasn't disturbing in the least, but it was a bit strange. He saw himself in armor, with a sword, riding alongside his master into the heat of battle. Slashing and striking their enemies down, working hand in hand to defeat enemies. He saw himself eating like a king alongside his master, feasting on many meats and breads and fruits. Drinking a few glasses of wine and....

Tar had woken up much later the next day, feeling a little better as he had his bandages changed. He stroked the boy's head, hoping to wake him too so he could have his wounds cleaned and bandaged again. They were healing up a bit, the main one still being a problem. The rest of them were nearly just scratches with scabs now.
