it never occurred to him that the teacher's mess was the same as the students. it was a pint-sized replica filled with older faces though by no means quieter mouths. he was relived when his horticulture teacher ushered him over to her table.

"Thinking and knowing are two different things you know that right?" The head master asked him with a sigh "Either way the mess is done now. Go home Mizuki and rest. Tomorrows going to be an interesting day" The head master said. He just had one of those feelings.

(jeez my roomate sucks, got chased out of the house by bad vibes so palpable they went through the floor)

he slept poorly in the teacher's housing, it was empty and quiet, something he had never dealt with before. he did not know why the night-birds and crickets did not make noise. he dozed fitfully that night

Mizuki was up early in the morning. He didnt know why but sleep seemed to avoid him. He gave a sigh as he got ready for the day. Grabbing everything he needed Mizuki left his house and stood on his front step for a moment breathing in the cool night air

he washed and dressed and gathered up his things for the day, stepping outside his door he was imeadiently distracted by movement to his left. mizuki....

Mizuki looked over to the noise of a door opening, and wouldnt you know it none other then Luka stepping out. "The gods truely hate me" Mizuki said out loud as he walked away almost as if Luka was never even there. The last thing Mizuki needed was this!

he felt his blood boil at the statement, he was not stupid he knew as soon as he clapped eyes on the other that this was somehow his doing, it was too convenient. he touched the whistle around his neck and was calmed again, it really was not entirely that bastard's fault, the dragon had said they were close and that the journal legitimate further proving a bond. he still hated the guy but his anger was subdued greatly. he went to class still rubbing the item around his neck

Mizuki had a feeling it was going to be a long day and wondered if the other was there do to the head master. He shook his head as he went to his study. There on his desk in a dark room was all 4 diarys. He kept looking over the new addition. There was something there something he was missing he just needed to find what it was.

he had to admit it had been a surprisingly fun day, someone got the grand idea to enchant mandrake roots and the child-wails of the thing frightened the classes on either side into coming in and everything got muddled from there, he was still chuckling as he went to his lunch. the issue began when he had sat down to eat, a single mouthful was all he had gotten in when all of a sudden his gorge rose and he vomited, a large black chunky clot, like ground coffee fell from his mouth. those around him began to panic. he was rushed to the healer immediately.

Mizuki had heard what had happened from passing in the hall and he stopped dead in his tracks. 'Had it really worked!?!' Mizuki thought before he turned his direction of step and began his way to the medical wing. He was sure that he was the last person Luka wanted to see but he needed to know.

Making it to the wing he rounded the corner and saw Luka sitting on the farthest bed in the elongated room. Now he stopped not knowing if he should continue or not.

the healer did his best to fix luka but all he could really do is close the holes forming in his gut. as far as the healer was concerned it looked as if luka had mis-sealed something and the discharge ruptured his insides. luka could guess how that happened, the magic mizuki cast on him must have messed up his seal, after the healer left he checked, what looked like a bruise was developing on his arm, it covered part of the tattoo keeping luka's magic subdued, he wondered if it was the foreign magic or his own causing the damage but he knew someone who could answer it and speak of the devil, he saw the other from the corner of his eye 'you can come over here, it is not like i cannot see you'

Mizuki jumped a little at the sound of Luka's voice but did as he was told. Walking over he stood a couple feet away looking to male infront of him "How...are you?" He asked Luka slightly with a tilt of his head.

he grimanced 'well, once when i was a little boy i was given a book to play with, i was allowed to practice sealing it, to make it talk again, well i fixed the seal but i added another one, so i could get it to talk to itself' he paused and rubbed his arm 'do you want to know what happened to the book? he waited for the slight nod 'my book tore itself right in half the spells canceled each other out and in doing so destroyed the book. he began to remove his shirt. 'it's too late now to hide this' he bared his arm 'i am already marked, that is why i said it was pointless to try to revive your dead lover. my body cannot handle this you've condemned me to die as my book died, without the seal i destroy everything, with it i destroy myself' he closed his eyes. in less than an hour he went from standing a chance at getting back to normality to this, what was most certainly a long slow death by internal corruption.

Mizuki listened to what Luka said though he was kind of confused to what this had to do with anything but he let the other continue by nodding his head at the question asked. Mizuki then watched as the male removed his shirt to show the seal upon his arm. Mizuki had seen that same seal many times before. He walked over and looked closer at it for a second before stepping back to his place.

Was it true that he caused Luka's death? Was this really all his fault? Then Lunas voice rang out in his head 'How would you feel with that young mans blood on your hands?'...was this the same thing? Mizukis eyes clouded with pain as his head drooped. "I cant do much but this" He said stepping forward once more. With his right hand he touched a bend of marking. Taking his chrystal off he touched the sambe spot he began and said something in a different tongue. Then the little area glowed and changed. Instead of flat a tripple way loop apeared.

Mizuki stepped back "It will heal everything after everything" Mizuki said if that made any sence. It was something not many people knew how to do. Simply it would heal internally as fast as it was breaking down. This healing was past the healers though they knew off it. Placing the chrystal around his neck again he stepped away "My deepest regests and apologies" Was all he said before turning and walking out as swiftly as he walked in.

he sighed and shrugged his shirt back on, even the sincerity in which the apology issued could not make him feel any less angry. when the other left he slumped, he should have come here the first night, as soon as he felt the first pangs of pain, maybe if he had come in sooner he could have done something to fix it, or even if he had gone home, his granna could have fixed it, he was sure, it was too late for that now however, without knowing the spell used against him he could not find a way to alter the seal

Mizuki walked away down the winding hallways to lead out to the teacher housing. He needed to get to his books. Needed to find something anything that would help him understand fully. The seal on Lukas arm didnt tie into the story and now it was giving Mizuki different thoughts on everything!
