so in that other thread where we were talking about holidays etc... Unitarian Universalism is guided by 7 principles, and the first one affirms and promotes the inherent worth and dignity of every person. and that's what i try to do with everyone. (there are some people in various political positions that it's difficult to do with....)
i've also said you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover - read it for a little bit and then decide. same with people - don't judge them by the way they look, get to know them for a little bit first! :)

I like that as a worldview. Seems like good morals to instill in a child.
Answer my riddle to earn a prize!
You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it? Pm me the answer, no cheating please!

My dad wouldn't say he did a good job, but that's because he doesn't really care about morals... or anything like that |D

It's funny because even though I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, I feel like I've been pretty open-minded about things like religion, culture, etc.
I think partially it helped because I am from a very multi-racial family and even though I never really grew up around that family much, I was exposed to racism at an early age and I've been hoping ever since that no one, especially no child, should ever have to feel outcast due to their skin color or their race or ethnicity. Spoiler; In-depth talk about my experiences with racism Onto happier things... Cats are pretty smart! I always wanted a cat. But my mom has a phobia of cats. ![]() "My car it is my life... and like my life it carries me around." --- My Bubba and Mi Picture drawn by ~isa~

I was so jealous of my friends with pets!!
I always wanted one, but my mom doesn't really like animals. As I got older, I had a pet rooster and a bunny. The rooster was super cute, I had him as a chick, but he was really mean. I didn't live too far from the farm, so I returned him after he grew up because he was picking fights with himself in the mirror and he was really loud. My bunny was sweet. Even mom loved her. Her name was Beans :D My friend drew Beans and that's the bunny in my signature. ![]() "My car it is my life... and like my life it carries me around." --- My Bubba and Mi Picture drawn by ~isa~

yeah, she is the smartest cat i've ever known. sadly she got very sick for a while so a lot of that fell apart since her demands for agency were ignored while she was going back and forth to the emergency hospital and taking hard antibiotics. she still does it a little bit with asking and telling but the damage was done and trust broken there

cats are not potatoes XD they are totally trainable as long as you understand them and don't try to apply dog-logic to them
