Dark grinned, he could answer this wuestion easily, "I could live forever with you by my side." He could not live here in this current setting forever, but he could live in this realm. It would be more of a home then his house.

it grew clearer but it was still so hard to to grasp ahold of. it bothered him now, taking up the space left behind by the book. he tried to take hold of it but to no avail, he tried a new direction. 'may i tell you a story?' he asked

"Of couse you can." Dark was confused why was Alexander telling him a story. He was not going to complain though, if Alexander wanted to tell him a story then Dark would listen. Maybe Alexander was trying to diverge from the topic before, that was fine with Dark too.

he sat down in the snow pulling dark with him. 'once upon a time' he held the other tight like when they watched the faerie hunt 'there was a once a child, who shunning his friends and family sought to play by himself, one day he returned home and everyone had left. the house remained as it was when he left that morning only noone was to be found. he did not question it and did his best to go on with his day, he succeeded for three days before his loneliness was too much, he went into the woods and hid himself in a big tree to escape. a fairy lived in the little boy's tree and could hear his sadness. she asked him what was wrong and he told her of his family. so to make him happy again she built a little man made out of twigs and leaves from the tree, when she was done the little man began to dance and sing to the delight of the little boy.' he turned to the other hand hoped he understood. seeing the other nod he smiled 'but,' he said, leaving off the story, 'this is a tale unfinished, there are two versions, one where the little boy lives forever in the woods with his stick-man and another, i am the story-teller but you tell the story, how does this one end?'

Dark tilted his head wondering why Alexander wanted him to pick the ending, "I want the one where the stick man and the lonely boy don't stay in the forest." It was the one Alexander had not elaborated on so it was natural that he be curious about what it was.

'then,' he said reaching out once more. 'make a wish.' grasping at the nebulous he watched it flare into full bloom. the world went dark.

When the light returned Dark recognized where he was. It was the library where he had first picked up the book. "What happened?" Dark asked Alexander confused at what had just taken place.

he coughed once to help settle the pain of transition, he felt as if he had been pulled inside out. clutching at himself he looked around. 'you made a wish...' he realized he was in a library, though from the looks of it the collector was unsure of his preferences, there were titles of all sorts surrounding him, each compelling him to look inside, he took a step towards one but was stopped by the next question

"Is this still in the book, or did it spit us out?" Dark was curious. The book could have been acting in his wish to leave the book and so created an image like that of the library he had first come across the book in. Dark noticed a weight in his hand and looked down to see the book...no longer empty. It was written in and the story appeared to be what he had jjust lived through.

'i do not know only i did not create this place and i feel nothing of you in it' he said taking the book into his own hands. it all but hummed.

"So it has returned us to my realm." Dark murmered. "The first thing on our agenda is to get out of the library." Dark looked to were Alexander was standing, "You can bring the book, my house is rather close here."

he nodded. 'ok, though' he looked around confused 'i...don't know where it is' he looked confused a moment longer ' think the boo- i meant i think you should lead the way' he looked down at the tome in his hands, he had always known where to go before, something was wrong.

(I know nothing about Ireland's geography, I'm assuming there is a forest near New Ross)
"We are in Ireland near New Ross." Dark said, guessing the Alexander was confused apon leaving the book. "I live in a forest near here and I wandered across this library by accident." Dark left off there knowing Alexander knew the rest of the story. "The hardest part is leaving the library I got lost on my way in." Dark admitted sheepishly.

'then we walk until we are where we need to be' he said confidently, though it was clear enough to look in to his eyes and see that he had no more ability to find the way by luck than by cheating. he began to walk

Dark follewed Alexander, knowing well enough that Alexander had no more an idea then Dark. "Since we seemed to have returned to were I'm from, any questions?" Dark asked afraid that once Alexander was outside he would be overwhelmed by the difference in technology levels and the fact certain things were nessisary for survival like water and food.

he looked over his shoulder but did not stop 'yes, what is wrong with this place? it is dead' he meant that it did not have the lively feel of the book. i came out however sounding not at all right' where are we going?'
