It's easier on loose paper. At least you don't have to worry about tearing out bad ones from a book and you can organize the artwork however you want. I just use a normal binder with those clear sleeves to store my sketches.

I have far too many and not enough clear sleeves. ;P I press down light enough that I wouldn't have to tear it out... And it wouldn't be MY sketch book without some crumby pages. XD
