"ah, and i get paid as well, i see we are on the same page there-abouts" he reached over as far as he could into the bag, he pulled out the empty syringe and the partial bottle of sedative. "no, i definitely think you are." he drew a little out and pricked the other in the thigh" he did not want to waste th hour or so he'd get to spend sleeping while waiting for his superiors to get back with their verdict.

Samuel fought the effect of the sedative as long as possible but eventually fell under its lul. Before he was completely asleep he muttered, "I wasn't tired before. And you just like stabbing me don't ya? I'll add that to your crazy list."

he woke abruptly. his box clicked a second time and he sprang to his feet. he wanted to throw up but he ignored it, four days was not so bad, he had gone this long before. he tapped out a couple keys and the box blipped, hear his mate's voice over the intercom. 'transmission received, we will send it when the last tape comes in' he blinked "last? who has failed?" 'muir' he growled "i said he was not ready" the other was silent for a moment "regardless, you have time, get some sleep, you sound like hell warmed over and your video did not look much better' "of course" he tapped out an exit then laid back down near the other. he hoped the other stayed asleep for a good li=long while

Samuel was half asleep when he heard Echo moving about. He listened in on the conversation and semi-filed away that one murderer had failed and another had not. He was not sure if that was supposed to be a private transmission but played it safe and pretended not to wake up.

he did not sleep yet however, the other was awake. he sighed "you really don't want to be tranq'ed do you?"

Samuel opened his eyes with a glare. "Your asking me if I want to be stabbed? Because everyone wants to be injected with various serums that could possibly not actually contain tranquelizer." Samuel was aware that he was getting very sarcastic to someone who would likely carry out any form of bodily harm on his person.

"ok listen, listen well for i am not in the habit of repeating myself, as long as you are useful i will not do anything to seriously jeopardize your health. i am however so tired i cannot see straight. i need sleep and i cannot sleep unless you do. right now i don't care if you grow a dependence if it means i get another hour of sleep. do you understand? so try and go to sleep or the next one will not be so nice" he closed his eyes.

Samuel frowned but said, "Don't stab me this time and I'll go to sleep." He really wanted to say something else but the threat of a dependence on a sleeping drug was not something he wanted fulfilled. Physical blows he could handle but him and drugs should not mix in his mind.

he laid there on the floor for several minutes before he gave up. his paranoia outweighed his tiredness, he scooched over to the other and picked up the syringe and vial he drew a little more and looked up at the other "takes four doses, that is two vials, i figure it should not take any less than one for you and this is only a little less than half gone." he slithered up over the other man's legs until he was half in the other's lap. he reached up the rest of the way and injected the sedative into the man's arm.

Samuel gave Echo a drooping glare, "I hate you and your syringes." He informed the other calmly before dropping off into oblivion.

"i am sure" he whisperd. he pushed off of the other and laid down again, he needed this rest badly.

Samuel awoke a few hours later and with a slightly vengefull smile said, "Wakey-Wakey, Echo."

he twitched and opened his eyes, the edge of delirium that had been following him had left and he felt better for it, still tired but better. he spared the other a dry glance "what is it that you need?" he figure the other either needed to take a piss or eat something, right about now he certainly was feeling it

His stomache growled to answer him but Samuel said, "It would be nice to use the restroom."

*he pulled himself from the floor "i suspected as much" he moved over to the duffel and pulled out scissors. he went over to the other and snipped at the tape binding his legs. he did a brisk rub-down of each. "standing is going to suck for you but that is how it goes, i don't trust you not to strangle me on my back and you are too heavy any other way." he turned the chair to get to the other man's hands. he stood up quickly then and leaned toards the other just a bit "just know if you run i may be forced to break it off" he lifted the other with one arm into a standing position

Samuel gave a shrug, "One less arm to worry about." His mind was screaming pain but he was attempting to ignore it in favor of walking. He mentally cursed his apparently weak legs and will, he should just be able to ignore it. "Fucking legs." He muttered.
