he smile did not waiver, "ok cris, if you change your mind alec will show you the kitchen" he waved lightly and left back through the door "swell isn't she" he grinned

"Okay then." He says softly before following Alec. He nods a bit. "Yeah...my mother was never too happy about visitors. She liked things planned to hell and back."

he chuckled 'remind me not to cross your mother' he looked at the other for a moment his face serious 'thankyou, mom really tries hard but i worry her sometimes when i don't come home on time' he did not elaborate farther though his wings twitched lightly 'so' he said as he led them both into the kitchen 'did you want a muffin or do you want to raid the fridge?' his smile was back though it was not as radiant as before. 'i owe you something to eat at least'

"Well....I don't live with her anymore so no worried on that end." He works on the internet, doing various websites for money and the like. That's how he pays his rent. "My parents never really worried unless I disappeared for a day or so....which I only did about once." He shrugs. "No....I'm good." He's tilting his head a bit. He senses something is off, but doesn't know what to say or do about it for now.

"Mmm. Yeah. What do you have?" He's chewing on his lip ring now. Some great nutrition right there.

'ah' he smiled at full force now 'milk, light milk' he made a face 'oj, water, tap water, orange soda and strawberry bannana kiwi shake. i recomend the shake or the orange soda'

Chris snorts a bit at Alec's reaction to the light milk. All milk is good...except skim milk. It's just watered down milk and doesn't count as milk to him. "I guess the soda then?" That's a little too many different fruits in his shake for him...though strawberry banana is always good. "How long have you lived here?"

"my whole life" he said setting the smoothie and the soda pop on the table "some people find that weird, not moving even once, but mom loves this house" he went to a cupboard to fetch a pair of glasses "when mom dies this will be my house, when i die....well i won't let them tear it down anyway" he poured the drinks and handed cris the pop

"I don't find that weird...once you find a place that you love...should stay there." He shrugs a bit. He hasn't found a place like that yet...if he ever does. "Shouldn't think that way. For most, that's far away." It's true. And for others? It's a hell of a lot closer than they would like. "Thanks." He takes the drink. "If you don't mind me asking....where's your dad?"

'don't have one' he took a swig of the pinky-brown mixture. 'left a little after i was born, mom won't say why but she did not sell the house so it can'tve been bad

"Sorry that happened." It's an automatic reaction. Though he's kind of curious to know why, but it isn't his place to poke and prod at wounds. He takes a sip of soda. "Mine was...is always doing something with work if he wasn't at work." But that doesn't bother Chris.

'why be sorry? i didn't know the guy and mom is not here' he looked at the other 'well, at least he's dedicated?' my mom is a cosmetic orthodontist so when she comes home she is home haha

Chris just shrugs a bit. "Mmm...yes. That's true, but it's also why my mother divorced him actually. There's only so much money can do. It can't make you happy though. But that doesn't matter. Does she like her work?" Topic change go.

"You should try to find a job you love...then it'll never actually be work. At least that's what people say....so do you know why you have wings?" His brain decided to bring up the others energy when Chris could see the wings.
