Depends on the kind of poop. Some is better than others. It also depends on your plants. Some plants don't do well with certain types of poop.

I would think non-carnivorous animal poop would be best for planting...
My fitness coach puts her dog's poop in her garden sometimes... But honestly, I don't think it does much for plants? Like... imagine watering your plants with animal blood or melted animal fat. Maybe that's not how plants work, but I would think that mostly veggie based poo would work the best with plants. Like compost, you know? ![]() "My car it is my life... and like my life it carries me around." --- My Bubba and Mi Picture drawn by ~isa~

meat or veg-eating doesn't really mean anything on it's own. it's more what the plant needs, assuredly most dogs have a really poor diet(as most dogs are fed commercial dog kibble which is pretty bad) so i wouldn't recommend it for much XD though there has been a fair bit of luck with cows as theirs lines up better with the type of garden plants a lot of people use, worm is popular too with veg and ornamental flowers but like i said the plant is important and has different chemical needs based on what it is and where it is planted

Blood and bone meal is actually a very good fertilizer for plants that like phosphorus and nitrogen.
Goat poop doesn't make very good fertilizer because they have really efficient digestive systems and they strip most of the nutrients out of their food. You have to be careful with chicken poop because there are actually so many nutrients and ammonia in it that it can burn your plants. Answer my riddle to earn a prize!

I didn't know about it until I lived on a goat farm for a while and had a conversation with the vet about goat anatomy haha.

That makes sense!
I didn't think about the type of plants :o I know usually, I use compost for my veggies and herbs. Like, when I juice, I take the pulp and put it in with my plants. But those are probably much different than other plants like flowers and things like that ![]() "My car it is my life... and like my life it carries me around." --- My Bubba and Mi Picture drawn by ~isa~

yeah, the dietary needs of plants vary widely though having a good all'rounder compost is always a good thing for edibles ^^
