The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series was pretty great.
I've always loved Peter Pan. Disney tries to make it this cute little movie and yet in reality it's a tragedy.

You're gonna drive me m a d; I know it sounds weird, but my favorite books of all time are the His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman. They're...kids books, but they're ridiculously deep. You've got an a n g e l on your shoulder

Let's see, in no particular order I'd have to say my top five favorite books (that I can read again and again) are:
Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carrol - I like this one much more than Alice in Wonderland The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice - my absolute favorite out of all her novels, really. Lestat was my favorite male literary character for a long time. American Gods by Neil Gaiman - SO hard to pin down ONE Neil Gaiman story I like the most, since I am a haaaardcore Gaiman fan and I've read everything he's done. The Sandman is actually my favorite work of his, period, but that's a graphic novel. House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski - Rich and complex and terrifying The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - Best one out of the whole Hitchhiker's Library Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk - This one resonated with me more than his other books, although Fight Club will remain an old love Er ok, top six xD ![]() ![]() ![]() i won't rot ∙ not this mind and not this heart ∙ i won't rot

It's hard for me to reread a book, in the same way it's hard for me to re-watch a movie. I know what's going to happen! XP So books that make me want to reread always get on my top. The same goes for books that really inspire me. This includes books like Red Dragon by Thomas Harris and Everything's Eventual by Stephen King (really weird, because it's a book of short stories THAT I LOVE.
My favorite authors are Beverly Barton and Alex Kava. They write amazing mysteries. And I love mysteries. Murder mysteries are my number one genre, actually. Behind that are westerns and urban fantasy. Yeehaw!

I love the fantasy genre completely. I'm not very fond of Non-Fiction books at all. They are so boring. When I read a book, I want to go into another world that isn't like it is on Earth.

I read pretty much anything, ranging from Fantasy and Science Fiction to History to Political books, etc. So long as they are well written and aren't glaringly horrendous in any manner, I will at least attempt to read it.
Will state though that my favorite genres are: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and History. I'm only a man with a candle to guide me I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me A monster, a monster I've turned into a monster A monster, a monster And it keeps getting stronger
