These cookies are absolutely delicious! One of my friends was coming over to make cookies with me, but she was allergic to eggs and chocolate, so I searched through our cookbooks and we tried to make these cookies, and they have become my family's favorite cookies.
Raspberry Shortbread Dreams Ingredients: 1 cup butter 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 2 cups all purpose flour 1/3-1/2 cup seedless jam (you can use any flavor, I've used raspberry like the recipe calls for and boysenberry and marion berry and strawberry and all taste wonderful!) Glaze: 1 cup confectioners sugar 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 2 to 3 teaspoons of water Directions: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in extract; gradually add flour until it starts to form a ball. Cover and refrigerate for an hour. (That step is very important! It always to dough to set so you can work with it in the next step) Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place them about 1 inch apart on a NON-greased cookie sheet. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke a hole in the middle of the dough, don't go all of the way through, just enough to make a little well for the jam. Then fill with jam. (I have found it's easiest to put the jam in a plastic bag and cut a small hole in the tip and pipe the jam into the holes.) Bake at 350 degrees for 14-18 minutes. Then let them cool on a wire wrack. Mix the confectioners sugar, almond extract, and two teaspoons of water until it makes a light glaze, keep adding water until it's a light glaze. (different altitudes and environments uses different amounts of water) Then drizzle the glaze over the cookies with a spoon or you can put it into a plastic bag and pipe it like you did the jam. Which ever is easier. For an easier clean up place a long piece of foil under the wire wracks. ENJOY!!! Mizeria's sister Renata is my boyfriend! <3 He's mine no touchy! Oh man, all of my really good recipes are super complicated, so I'll put up a real simple one (that I totally made last night xD).
Mini Cheesecakes: 1 package of cream cheese/250g 1/2 cup sugar-ish, you can adjust to taste 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla Oreos Line muffin tins with cupcake liners and stick a whole oreo in the bottom of each one. Blend together the cream cheese and sugar, then add the eggs and vanilla and blend until smooth. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly into each of the liners. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are no longer shiny. Makes approx. 12 I remember when we had one of these threads in closed beta. :D There were a TON of awesome recipes! Like mug cakes. xD Dem is Lucid's Waffle. <3

Completely Made Up Fajitas...
1lb. Boneless chicken, cubed/sliced 2tbsp. olive oil Juice of 1-2 Limes 1tsp each: Garlic, either chopped, dried, or powder Onion, either dried or powder, not an actual onion Cumin Black Pepper Oregano Cilantro 1 Green Pepper, chopped 1 onion, chopped More Cilantro for the fajita In a bowl, combine the herbs/spices, with the olive oil and lime juice. Pour into ziplock bag with the chicken. Let it marinate for about a half hour to an hour. pour chicken into skillet on med-high heat. Add all the spice mixture. Stir for about 8-10 minutes. Add the onion and pepper. Continue to stir, cover if needed, for another 10 minutes or until the meat is cooked. it took me less that 20, my stove was pretty hot. Remove from heat. Put the mixture in a flour tortilla, add sour cream, cilantro, and anything else you'd like, on top, eat it, enjoy it, make more, thank me later...
