Dark noticed the towel had slipped blushed and turned around to give Alexander some privacy.

he shifted a bit in the new underwear, the band was loose and the legs were a bit short but he supposed they would be fine. 'dark?' he asked noting the other had turned away, 'what is wrong?' anyone else would be able to feel the embarrassment coming off of the boy but lacking any real companions had left alexander without such a useful ability, instead he continued to blindly press forward. 'are you ok?'

"I'm fine." Dark said. "It is kind of a human thing." He muttered. Explaining to Alexander why he was embarressed would end in disaster most likely. He kind of assumed Alexander hadn't run into human modesty before.

'i, suppose' he smiled sheepishly. there was no response for that really. he turned towards the bedroom. is it sleep then?

"And now we go to bed." Dark said still embarressed. This would be probably the hardest part of living with Alexander. Dark headed towards the bedroom and bed.

alexander followed blithely behind not understanding the potential of bed-time antics

Dark stood by the bed and stared at it for a second before internally sighing. "After you, Alexander." He said guestering to the bed.

he obligingly crawled under the quilts and laid supine on the bed his face being the only thing turned, he looked at the other and waited.

Dark climbed in after Alexander, ingnoring the fact that Alexander was right next to him. Dark turned off the lights and then said to Alexander, "Sweet dreams." Dark doubted he would actually have sweet dreams but that did not mean he could not tell Alexander to have them.

'sweet dreams' he said to the other. he lay there quietly and without movement until he was certain the other was asleep. lightly he reached over to the other's face and touching it fell back into the nightmare

Dark recognized the smell of sulfer first thing. The second thing was that he was really hot almost like he was burning. He could not hear other's cries so that meant it was a more personal nightmare, one of his own demons. He felt as though his skin and bones were melting, he felt agony but also relief that seemed to skirt the edges of his mind, taunting him. It seemed familar but he could not place it and so he reached for it blindly only to be rebuffed by his mind.

it was dark, too dark only a sullen red like embers in a darkend fireplace and hot as one as well, he could not see the other though like a beacon his crystal led him, glowing all the while

Suddenly the fires let up and the smell of sulfer disappeared. He was now underwater. He was still able to breath and he was not dying. Dark opened his eyes and then gasped. It was underwater most definatly but he regonzited some of the geographical features, he was looking at Ireland. This confused him because of two things, one his dreams almost never changed until he woke up and two it was not a nightmare. Apparently he thought to soon as he then felt the passing of many people and felt each idividual death, one after another. One would only begin to fade as another began.

a silent procession in white filed past him as the black and red faded to a gray and green. haunts all in the same shrouds passed by him, he walked against them knowing if he went far enough he could find the other

Dark was not sure wich was worse, burning or living death over a thousand times. Some deaths were peacefull as though difting off in sleep but some went painfully, clinging to life long after they should have let go. Dark was glad he only f4elt their pain though instead of their emotions that would have been thousand times worse. He wondered idly how many were left to go and hoped he was not thrashing around in bed that would make it hard for Alexander to sleep.

he could feel the other, his crystal all but hummed as he drew near, there! he did not look the same but he felt as only dark could alexander pushed through the spirits trying to get there faster
