"Ah.." Dark said at first then forced himself to think through the haze that his mind had become, "A migraine attack, Alexander." The sentance was short and choppy but it got the point across. DArk have a barely audible groan when the headache increase and his vision faded further.

he did not understand what that meant but he did know a little about healing, he scooped up the boy and carried him to where the bedroom was, laying him down he looked for a pair of towels, finding them he hurried to the bathing closet and wetted one with hot water and the other with cold, he brought both back and began to alternate putting them on dark's head and neck alternating them after several seconds of each

Dark could feel the cool cloth being pressed against his head and neck and it brought him slight relief. He could remember who Alexander was and why he was here, so the migraine had not targetted his memory banks like it had last time. His fine motor skills were probably a little off though. The world suddenly came back into focaus then slipped back out.

he kept applying them both until they were both only lightly warm. he let out a sigh of frustration. what was wrong? he put his forehead to the other boy's to see if there was a fever

Dark felt Alexander's hadn on his forehead and focaused on that. Using the hand as a grounding point he tried to force his body and mind to forget the pain or at least ignore it. The technique did not work very well but did manage to reduce it to a duller throb.

he could feel something when he made contact, like the pull he felt when he was commanded only it was uncomfortable and displeasurable. he sought to draw it out. h reached in and pulled

he jerked back from the other. touching his face he tried to calm down, he had to get this out. he leaned back down his hair curtaining them both, he touched his forehead to the other and pulled, this time ignoring the aching throb.

he felt himself slipping, but he felt the pain from the other slip too. he reached and yanked as hard as he could. the world went black.

Dark felt the other go limp above him and imediatly sat up pain forced to the back of his mind. Alexander had colasped for some reason. Dark carefully switched their positions so Alexander was the one on the bed, ignoring his own throbbing head. Dark woundered what had happened because his pain had disappeared for a couple seconds before Alexander had colasped. Dark by gripping the walls and conviently placed objects got to the sink and rewetted the strips of cloth Alexander had placed on his neck and head.

he bolted upright. dark! he could hear watter running in the bathing closet, he hurried to it, his first step a stagger but the rest as sure as they always were. he found the other re-wetting the cloths. he pulled them from his hands and lifted the boy bridal style off his feet. the narrow door and equally narrow hall made maneuvering difficult but he paid it no mind. he made it over to the bed and put the other back in his place 'stay' he commanded in a low firm voice. he sat on the bed and leaned over the other. he took both hands and pressed them to his lord's shoulders. he placed his forehead flush with the others.

there it was. he tried a different tactic this time, instead of pulling it out all at once as he did with wishes he took it a tendril at a time, in small smooth motions, he drew it out slowly and his gem began to glow.

Dark just followed Alexander lead even when their foreheads were touching. The haze had returned and it seemed to be slowly retreating. Dark noticed from the corner of his eye Alexander's glowing gem. Dark found that his head was clearing quickly and his first though was about the chicken and potatoes in th eoven and how long was he out. He did not voice any of theese though going for the more elequent, "What ya doing, Alexander?" His speach had mostly re4turned to normal, Dark was glad to notice even if his mouth was not following his brain's request.

he ignored both questions, the spoken one was useless and the thought-of one unimportant. he plucked free the last little sprigs of pain and ate them, as he had eaten the book, it was a bitter taste and made him feel sick but it helped his lord and that was all that mattered. he opened his eyes slowly he did not realize until that moment the incredible greenness of them. he wanted to kiss those eyes and so he did, lightly and with care. when he has done this he opened his mouth. 'i do not know how long the food has been in the oven, i will check.' he stood up and left the room.

Dark sat there stunned for a little bit, then shook himself free of his stupor. Dark then rose to check on the food with Alexander not wanting Alexander to deal with possibly burned food if that is what happened. Dark did not smell burning food and took that as a good sign.

he closed the oven door just as the other came in 'it is not ready, it is close though'

Dark nodded and tried to figure out how to breach the subject of his headache dissappearing. Dark winced out how his breach of subject would be, "What did you do to clear my head?" It had disappeared suddenly without the usual waiting time and Dark assumed Alexander had done it.

'i...' he faltered, it was difficult to explain 'i..un-wished it. i pulled it out of you, it was hurting you. it had to be done.' he looked directly at the other. he was not sure he had explained it correctly but he had no other words for it

Dark was confused slightly but understood the gist of what Alexander was saying. "Okay," This was extemely embarressing, Dark had no idea what to say and he was floundering, "Thanks for getting rid the headache." There, now that was taken care of and could be shoved into a corner until it exploded at him later.

'of course' he lightly bowed, his hands retaining the motion but his body mostly unresponsive. just then the timer went off, with an incredible bit of luck and timing they were situated perfectly to receive the meal with minimal fuss. he grabbed a hand-towel and removed the dish. it looked wonderful.
