the mermaids make it interesting, since ever since, Disney made little children think that mermaids are all nice and stuff... so flesh-eating mermaids for a change rocks!...

It was a fun movie all the way through. Maybe it didn't have any coherent story line, but it was all about Jack, who's confusing in himself. XD

And of course, the mermaids. I love what they did with that.

I've seen it, and personally enjoyed it quite a bit. It was different without having Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but that being said, the movie was amazing. Managed to keep continuity and flow from the last 3 (but the beginning has you thrown for a loop some). Throwing in the historical figure of Black Beard as well as the search for the Fountain of Life made it interesting for those who knew of its legend. OVerall an amazing movie and can't wait to see more from them.
