I appreciate this thread and the ideas it stands for.

Also if someone finds the need to put the thread down even though you were doing what was necessary and still giving awesome prices, then let them.

If it were needed I would tell others about this thread if only to give them a great place to hang out and to help keep it alive!

Well Ginger, it's not like I don't under stand what that user's saying, but on the other hand it's YOUR charity, and it should be up to the visitors to the charity to decide if it's fair or not. Personally, I would have thought it's fair. Even if it's not free, selling things at a VERY low price is still charity, no matter what that user thinks.

Serra gives a good point. It's your charity and you get to decide what to do with it. If it were necessary, I would have paid due to the simple fact of it is completely fair in price.

This charity helped me a lot when I started. There wasn't anything to get easily because it was between events, and no token shop either. So I kinda felt flat and plain in the starter outfit and was a little intimidated to post. Then I got a donation from here and didn't feel so "cookie cutter" anymore, so I was more comfortable getting out there and talking.

I understand how that is, I used to be like that, then I found out I was much more comfortable if I went ahead and started my quest thread. It also helped me to get the things I wanted/needed to look better.

I wish I had found this site before all the others, not going to name them, but most of them are now money hungry or either filled with noobish people who do nothing but ask for donations.

I'm actually proud of myself for posting as much as I have within the first two days. Normally I lurk for like a week before really posting much other than my quest and newbie thread.

Yeah, I get that. I was really self-conscious and had almost no self-esteem until a few days ago. I ended up having a massive break down and realizing that I was better than that.

I shouldn't backslide, I mean I'm pretty sure I did some brain damage with what I did during my breakdown. So yeah. But that's another reason I wanted to get back in the swing of avatar sites because it means I can talk to someone without feeling as though I'm being judged.

But yeah, not sure exactly why it says that, I would much rather it say something less bizarre.
