I'm doing pretty well except that I feel a little forced to try to fix my roommate's computer troubles. We are both on the same modem but his keeps having internet troubles while mine does not. I can't for the life of me figure out WHY.

Hm, I normally don't have that problem so there isn't much I can say to try to help. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I'm considering resetting the modem once a week. Since that seems to clear it up and it takes about a week to come back. I still wish I knew why my own computer doesn't have the issue while his does. It can't be BECAUSE of the modem, but I've checked everything I can think of...

Yea, I found out today he hasn't installed a virus scanner since he reinstalled Windows two weeks ago. I offered but he didn't want me to.

Either that or some obscure setting between his computer and the modem is making a conflict...

I keep telling him. He says "I'm bad at talking on the phone and the internet is in YOUR name." I was so pissed D: He just wouldn't stop complaining but also wouldn't do anything about it.
