He laughed weakly. "Heh.. I don't think i've tried to fight back. I hardly trust him to not use a few methods of forcing me to to do as he wants. I''d rather go willingly, though they did use to send the guard." He smirked a bit. "They aren't always the brightest.."

It was a bit odd that they even managed to talk that much, and most of it was about nothing that dreadfully important. Really he was more in shock she hadn't gotten around to cussing him out again just yet. Sure he had been around drows all of his life along with other races but she was hardly acting like most that he had met. Maybe it was because she was from the island instead of here.

As she was asking the man if he knew of the blade he was half listening and half not as he seemed to inspect the shop. From his expression he wasn't too impressed by anything there, though he kept his comments to himself. He wasn't about to insult the man in his own shop.

Near the end of the conversation he finally walked over to Elvara and heard the end of it before questioning the description. "Thats the best you can tell us is a riddle? You can't just say its a dragon or a ravenger?" He shrugged a little, that wasn't good information to go exploring a cave on, there was a number of beasts that liked caves that it could belong to.

Seeing as there was no further information to be had they left the shop. Though after they got a few feet from the building his ears dropped as he glared looking forward a little. "God damn it have humans really lost any sense of craft!" he hissed out finally apparently whatever thoughts he had from before were annoying him to the point he had to voice them.

Elvara nodded her head "I agree with you there...every weapon in that shop was flawed" She said with a little nod of her head "I could make better things and I dont black smith often" She said "Only once in a while" Though her mind was dragged else where "So lets see. This beast could be different things like a dragon, griffen, shit even something else" She said in a huff crossing her arms starting to walk again.

"Either way I need that sword" She said heading towards the direction of the caves. As they got there she stood outside of it and looked at the big open black mouth of the cave. Unsheathing her double blades from her back she smiled and looked to Zekrak "Well then....50 points for the head of the beast!" She said playfully before darting into the cave.

He grumbled a little under his breath listening to her "I could make better weapons in my sleep.. " Though his complaint was lost a little. It almost made him sad really the fact that such a shops stayed in business and could sell things that were that poorly made. Sure each weapon had a flaw but.. you should still strive for perfection either way.

"I think we'd be lucky if it were anything but a dragon.. to seek one out in it's own den is not the wisest move to say the least.." He knew that from personal experience that was damn sure.. Though I doubt its a griffin.. they tend to not have teeth. That also counts out any other bird beast you can think of. Unless the information over the years has been skewed." There were the odds of that happening as well.

He frowned a bit as she went running off into the cave. "you can keep the points!" He started to let her go off, this was hardly smart to go just running into a cave with no idea of what was in it's depths. "tsk damn it..." He sighed before running after her. "you can die you know that! and I damn sure am not going to finish your quest if you do!"

There was no light at all inside the caves, though maybe it was for the better. Having to rely on your other sense meant that your eyes couldn't fool you into thinking something was there when it wasn't. Though on the same note he was pretty sure she could see about as well as he could in the dark from being a drow. It wasn't too far but it was enough to get your barrings if needed and to skip the use of a torch.

She made her way through the caves listening as Zek yelled at her. She smirked. She needed to get that sword one way or another. Turning a corner she began to notice drawings on the walls around her. Each depicted the same thing over and over scene after scene. Elvara cursed "Shit...trust my fucking luck" She said looking to the image of a dragon before her. Each one showed the dragon as red as the fire it breathed.

Walking deeper into the cave a light shone softly in the distance. Taking slow steps she made her way to the light before lightly peering around the wall of the cave. There is was! She thought looking at a mound of gold with a sword sticking out of the top of it, but with no dragon insight.

Walking out she stuck to the walls as she made it closer to the mound. Climbing up the gold coins and all she made it to the top and looked at the silver cloth wrapped hilt of the blade. Reaching out she pulled it from the pile and held it infront of her. Running her finger up the side of the blade Elvara smirked as no slice of the skin greated her...but shivered as hot breath met the back of her neck.

Turning around slowly her green eyes met the nose of a dragon. Scales blood red with tints of orange. The beast then raised its head, horns glinting in the glow of the fire light around the cave before it growled. Smoke rising from the corners of its raised lips shimmering past white teeth. Then the beast spread its wings out and pushed off with its front claws roaring a massive roar. It seemed as thought it was angry.

Elvara smirked tying the sword to her hip and moving it around to the back she took a hold of her two blades and smiled "Bring it on big boy!' She said to the dragon before she cursed "OH SHIT!" She said jumping down the gold pile as coins splashed up and around her as a fire ball hit the place she once stood.

He slowly managed to catch back up to her when she seemed to stop for a moment at the drawings. He hardly liked the looks of them. A red dragon? Why couldnt it be like a green or something.. reds were hardly something he had a advantage over if it came to it.

Sure he followed her to the dragons 'nest' so to speak, but he didn't go that far into the cave as he watched her. Hell he even saw the dragon as it walked up towards her, though for it's size it made little to no noise.

Though he was hardly expecting her to taunt the thing as it growled and seemed ready to attack. "tsk damn it stop playing and just grab the damned blade and run! we don't have much of a chance against a fully grown red!" He yelled at her, he was torn between moving forward and leaving her to her own accord. She was the idiot that walked right into the middle of a dragon's nest..

His ears dropped as he watched the two circle the room, the dragon trying to scorch her as she kept avoiding each of the fire blasts. Why did he follow this idiot again? What was it he knew the weakness of a fully mature red dragon.. what spot.. each had a spot that needed to be struck

Elvara jumped and dodged each attack with a smile "Awww I know you have more then that!" She said jumping into the air with a smile as she was missed yet again by the firey blast. That is when she landed on the head of the dragon with a sick smile before jamming a blade into each eye before jumping off watching as the dragon roared and clawed at its face. It was pissed.

That is when instead of a fire ball a string of pure fire blasted from the beasts mouth as it moved its head about wildly. She laughed before ducking under the flame and running under the belly of the beast her swords in the air cutting at the soft under belly.

Elvara knew the only way to kill a pure red fully growen was to hit a single spot right right under the left front leg. Fully growen reds were knowen for the bad temper and fire. But when you did get close to one you would notice a patch of oddly placed scales by its left leg. By forcing your blade in at an angle the beast would fall dead. Elvara was just having fun!

She jumped and slashed at the beast missing every attack it had. Elvara even woundered how this dragon lived for so long. Finally deciding to end its suffering she ducked and ran under it. With one swift movement and a blaze of fire her blade rested at an angle right under its left leg. She smiled as she pulled the blade out along with it a glowing red jewel. It was the heart of the dragon. Turning to Zek she smiled as the beast fell to its death right at her feet "You were saying?" She asked tilting her head.

"tsk.. show off." he said leaning against his weapon by now. Why was something like this guarding a useless blade? His ears went back as she seemed to taunt him for what he had said "well how was i suppose to know we'd have the retard of the litter!" He shook his head a little, he had seen red dragons before.. they did not all fall that easily. He knew that. There was one he knew damn well she wouldn't be able to kill that easily.

He started to say something to her like she didn't have to kill it but he kept his mouth shut. That'd lead to a very long drawn out conversation of how he would know. Though this one seemed half mad anyway so probably that option was out of the question.

"whatever grab your damn sword and lets go.. " After she took her prize and they walked back out of the cave he seemed to stay oddly silent. Sure she was a good fighter, but still what if she came up against something she couldn't defeat he felt like she would kill herself before asking for help.

Though the thought he kept to himself as she seemed to walk ahead of him a little, there were a few things he didn't tell her about the kingdom here. One was it's relationship with dragons.. though only certain breeds. He still felt a little out of place just standing there instead of stopping her from killing the dragon for doing what came natural to it.It might sound a little soft but when it's what you were raised around it was hard to think that it was a creature you had to kill.

Elvara walked and looked down at the heart of the dragon in her hand. It was a jewel that glowed like the treasure the beast itself gaurded. It sparkeled a deep crimson as she looked at it. The real prize though was the sword attached to her back. Pulling the blade off and around she looked at it...after all it was her prize and the first item she needed. Next they would head off to get the book of no pages. Though it was in the northern mountain town of Whitespeak. It would take a good two weeks travel to reach the mountains never mind locating the seeminly lost town.

"So..." Elvara began as she continued to walk "Whitespeak is next on the list' She said looking at her blade as she walked "You are free to fallow or free to leave" She said with a shrug.

He started to speak when he seemed to stop with a bit of a sigh. "There is a few things I neglected to tell you about the kingdom here.. though i'm sure you've read about them.." He seemed a little annoyed really as a sudden heavy wing beat seemed to rip through the air. After a few moments the beast that owned this sound emerged from the clouds and rapidly descended towards the ground far enough away that it shouldn't disrupt the two walking.

The beast was easily two times the size of the red that Elvara had just fought as it raised it's head and snorted as a white smoke flowed from it's nose. Making a few slow yet well placed steps it moved towards the two. Though Zek saw right away that she was about ready to struck at this red dragon as well though he held his hand out before speaking. "the weak spot isn't the same, don't let the scales color fool you.."

The dragon lowered it's head to look at the two before it before it seemed to speak without moving it's mouth. 'If I didn't find you with a female I'd half think something was wrong..' it seemed to hiss out before raising it's head and curling it's tail around to the front of it's body as it sat before the two. 'you know why I'm here, I wish the wizard would have just dealt with you but apparently thats expecting too much.'

Zek shook his head a little before he spoke "nice seeing you again too.. damn winged lizard... " The dragon hardly seemed amused by this comment as he snorted again. 'insults will get you no where.. you should learn to respect your elders.'

Sure Zek could have went on trying to insult the dragon but that would be useless to say the least. "Elvara meet Ruth, the Queens pet. Or also known as a royal dragon and one of the largest breeds of dragons... Also probably the answer to your question as to if I'm going with you or not"

[Pinkie]

Elvara stood there and watched as the dragon landed she pulled out both her blades and looked between the male and the dragon before she huffed replacing the blades on her back before turning "I suppose so" She said crossing her arms "Take him home Ruth..." She said with a little tone of irritation at the sudden view of the dragon "I dont care..." She said before starting to walk off diapearing into the trees.

He glared a little at Elvara as she walked off. "tsk fuck it all, I swear drow females are all the fucking same one moment they are happy then the next they seem pissed. What the hell did I do this time" He complained a little before returning his attention to his issue at hand as his ears went back.

The dragon seemed amused as he started to speak saying she already said to take him home. "before you say a damn word like hell im going..." Ruth seemed to stay where he was hardly threatened by Zek's sudden change in tone. Ruth's tail flipped a little as he moved his head again. 'I'd refrain from doing what your thinking of doing.. we've been through this before.. your going to lose like always.'

Zek smirked a little before pointing the weapon towards the dragon. "probably, but im tired of following orders.. entertaining nobles and doing all the other shit that im forced to do.. " He shrugged a little before pulling his weapon back as if he was preparing to strike out at the dragon. "besides what do I have to lose? If I die i'll recover in a few days at most, ah the curse of being immortal." He laughed a little, he didn't fear death really he'd love to get rid of that so said curse.. though the methods of doing so were hardly easy.

Ruth snorted as the smoke seemed to be a black this time around before he drew his head back and released a sudden fire breath towards the ground that continued going in a steady stream. Though oddly Zek never moved from his spot as he held his free hand forward and his eyes changed to a blood red color from the blue they were before. "Don't tempt me dragon im in a mood where I will push all the way..." He spoke as the embers and fire seemed to avoid touching him altogether. Though he couldn't keep this little act up for long it drained quite a bit of energy to call upon any of his demonic power. Though if he bothered using them more often it wouldn't drain him as much.

Elvara kept walking until she heard a noise that made her turn. The sudden light from the direction she had just came from made her take a step towards it. Fallowing she stood next to a tree some 20 feet away and watched as the flame disapeared into nothing infront of Zek. That was...pritty cool. She thought as she continued to watch catching and picking up on the conversation the two had.

The dragon seemed agitated sudden;y as it stopped the flame and slammed it's tail against the ground. 'learn your place half blood!' it seemed to hiss out at him before releasing it's next attack as a claw was raised and quickly slammed downwards where Zek was standing. Though this he seemed to avoid as his eyes were still a crimson red and he smirked a little. "are you getting slow in your old age too? tsk" He seemed to ignore the half blood comment, though if he focused too much on it he'd really lose control and have a risk of killing the poor beast for picking today to annoy him.

Ruth snorted again before releasing a ice bolt from it's mouth. 'fire might be your element but your useless against everything else' He continued to flip his tail as he moved from his sitting position finally and seemed more then ready to do any means necessary to remove Zek from the fight at hand.

He saw the bolt sure though he seemed willing to test something as he pulled the weapon he still had with him back before swinging it at it's full force forward and into the attack causing it to shatter upon impact. "weakness.. yes though in my current mood I don't think I care dragon." He seemed to shrug like what he did was nothing as he pulled the weapon back to his side and watched the dragon's every move.

Ruth growled suddenly before slamming his tail against the ground once more and pinning his wings back against his body and charging forward, the dragon wasn't worried about killing Zek he knew all too well that the boy would return sooner or later.

Zek seemed to stand there a few moments before he finished releasing what ever energy he had been holding back this whole time as a set of horns seemed t appear from no where on his head and his eyes remained the red color almost glowing at this point. "I warned you! you damned lizard!" He growled at him before moving forward and reaching a hand out as it slammed against the dragons horn that it had forward. Both sides seemed to stop at the same time and a dead silence fell.

After a moment the dragon pulled it's head back flailing it back and forth as the spot he had touched seemed to cause a reaction to the dragon. It flailed a while longer before it glared at the half blood before it. 'YOU! You'll regret that!' It hissed at him it's mouth open before it spread it's wings and took to the air in a single flap.

He stood there unimpressed by the threat as he yelled after it. "well next time put up a damned fight!" He shook the hand that he had touched the dragon with before looking at it's palm. "damn that hurt more then i remembered"

Elvara during the fight moved closer to watch better. But now that the dragon was gone she stepped out and looked at the male and his hand "Um...." She began not knowing what to say or even who to say it to "You okay?" She asked a little looking at the male. His eyes were still red but as soon as she spoke they bled back to the healthy blue she had grown used to.

He flinched a little as his ears dropped back hearing Elvara's voice. As soon as he bothered to look at her his eyes reverted back to the blue they were before. "yeah fine.. thought you had left.." he seemed annoyed she was there even. He only bothered to use that much of his power because he knew for sure she had left.

He closed his hand that he had been looking at into a fist instantly before he looked away from her. "don't you have some important quest you need to be off on, it's a hell of a walk to where you want to go from here.. thought your time was limited." He spoke in a flat tone before he moved and started walking in the other direction away from her.

"good luck with that by the way." He spoke again as he lazily waved a hand back towards her, though he still sounded like he had almost no energy left just from that little bit.It was probably true enough.. where he never used the powers they had a huge drain on him.

Elvara sighed "Males..." She said before waving a hand out infront of her speaking some forgotten language as the shadows from trees near by swirled and grew life. Soon they took chased and wrapped around Zek holding him tightly in an unbrakable prision of darkness "Dont even play dumb" She said "I know your close to passing out" She said "And im not about to have you do it out here." She said before her voice softened a little "Not when im just getting used to you' She said before tuning the shadows fallowing her as she sought a place to camp for the night all the while ignoring a cursing and threatening male behind her.
