I've done the Monkeys and the boss. I'm in the huge field. I have two heart pieces but I don't know where I got them.

You always get one from the boss and there is often one or two hidden away in dungeons. You probably found them as treasure somewhere. Can't recall the map immediately off the top of my head but there are some areas where you need to go through a couple round a bout paths to get to them. Your map will usually give you an idea of where you can go but can sometimes be annoying to read if stuff is layered or pathways are above one another.
As annoying as it can be to fine ones way around, I've found that doing it yourself rather than using a guide makes it easier in the long run as you learn your way around.

Quiet; Yeah, unfortunately I do turn to the guides when I'm absolutely confused. Like the next province, of Edin?, and I coudln't figure out how to get through. I haven't played again yet but I think the guide may help me a bit, but I guess I should explore around too. Though it said there is a heart piece in a tree. . . I think
Reyoki; That's good because there is no way in hell I'd find them all now. I suck at these games it seems. -Hiatus- Leave a message.

*pats head* Don't say that. This is your first Zelda game, after all. You don't yet know the signs of treasure. Give it a little time.
What part are you at right now? Also, on which system are you playing? This is a somewhat important point.

There is a heart piece in a tree! I found it by happening to looking at up at the right time. To save you some effort, I believe you need the hookshot to get it though the boomerang might work too. I believe it's in an area with a row of trees, like a boulevard. Not sure though.
I find the best guides really are the ones you buy. I have the one for Ocarina of Time and my sisters got one for Majora's Mask. I normally use IGN when I'm stuck but the walkthrough there is pretty much geared to be done step by step so already being in an area can get confusing if you don't start where the guide assumes you should. Early game has you running around all over the place. Bridges are out, gates are in the way, etc. Takes a lot of wandering around and repeatedly talking to people to figure it out. If it helps, when you get into new areas you will need to go back into the twilight areas again. Take note of where you see things, because often you will need to back track to go and get them later.

Reyoki; >_< I know, but I am used to knowing, like with RF, I KNOW like all kinds of little tricks and stuff. I'm still in the Field toward the Edin(sp) province? I haven't had a chance to play since Monday. I've been working on an essay.'
Quiet; Yeah it said to use the boomrang (OF WONDER). Going back >_< Joy. I hate wolf form so much. -Hiatus- Leave a message.

Well once you banish the twilight in an area, it won't come back so you can come and go without issue and freely shift back and forth. It's just when you first go to an area. Hence my sister and I would switch all the time.

Again, on what system are you playing? The Wii and GameCube versions are mirrored because Link is traditionally left-handed, but the Wii version has him as right-handed because most people are right-handed.
If you're on GameCube, follow the wall to the Right to reach another Twilit area. If you're on Wii, it'll be the left instead.

Reyoki: Sorry, wii edition.
Quiet; Yeah, I'm not sure. I'll figure it out. Once I uh, get this essay done >_> -Hiatus- Leave a message.

Thanks. I'm gonna work on it, though it may be taking a backseat soon. You see, Rune Factory comes out this Tuesday and I've been antsy in my panties for it.

ugh I wish stores had Twilight Princess for the Gamecube! It wasn't until years after its release I realised it was made for that system and not the wii. Hence I had never bought it before then.
I did play a little on the wii though. Link's wolf form was pretty bad A. First encounter with the villages was annoying. It's more fun to travel with him imo, but actually battles are harder in my opinion. I can't remember a lot beyond that. Except Hyrule seems to not be good at putting up a fight. yeesh.

Man I should start playing this again... Especially with Skyward Sword coming out (it looks amazing, Skyward sword looks like it will not only revolutionize gaming, but the entire Zelda series also.)
And yeah I hate finding the light pearls/bugs in Twilight Princess, the game is extremely funny and fun. It's still a rip-off of Ocarina of Time though, I just wish the story/plot was overall better >.> ![]()

Meh. It's not like the back and forth between different worlds/time periods was anything new when Ocarina came out.
From the preview Skyward Sword looks pretty much like the usual game pattern lately. What is supposed to be new about it?

Im looking foward to Skyward sword goign back to its root. I felt it was trying to be dark and brooding with twilight princess. I loved wind waker for its big open world witch made it seem a but less liner than other zelda games IMO. I still love A link to the past the best <3
