He sighed a little still keeping her close. "your right I do care, is that a crime?" He thought about what he said before speaking again "don't answer that" It was probably. "am I suppose to not care? I've known you sense I was 15" He started to go on but stopped as he shot a glance at the escort he still had "you can leave I promise I'm not falling over, for fucks sake!"

the man nodded a little before walking off taking the hint, he wasn't going to tempt Rhyldrin even a wounded one. Rhyldrin went back to what he was saying after he left them. "I know you care.. I.. I hate thinking that I worry you all the time. It's nothing for me to get into fights and get beat all to hell." He laughed slightly thinking a little "you must have stayed worried as a child.. I was always beat up back then." He felt rather bad now did he always worry her.. he must be a horrible person to make her worry so damn much.

"well you did get caught, you should think before you do sometimes..you even went against your promise to me. you said you wouldn't be so reckless" He smiled at her weakly. "you don't have to help me, really i'd rather you didn't. You were there when I needed you back then.. that's more then enough" If it weren't for her he'd probably be dead long before now and he knew it even if she didn't see it that way.

Her last comment caught him a little off guard as he looked at her noticing she was looking up at him. Though after a moment he laughed slightly before speaking again "that's not nice.. thought you were going to cut out teasing me"

Judith jumped a little in Rhyldrin's arms as he barked at the other Dark Elf to go away. "Twelve, you were twelve when you met me." she corrected him and smiled. "I was ten... I was so young back then but I felt something with you that I have never experienced with anyone else. I cared about you, I can't say that I loved you-" she hesitated to continue speaking, Judith felt a little surprised with herself. "I was too young for such a thing but I cared about you. I worried about you, I wanted to protect you and help you." she seemed a little lost for a moment, she closed her eyes and rested her head against his chest gently. She almost told him that she loved him. Judith bit her tongue keeping such words from escaping from her.

"I'm sorry that I broke my promise, it's hard to keep control over myself when I see someone that I care about in danger." she breathed out heavily. Judith felt her heart throbbing in her chest, she needed to let go of him. She had to push away though she couldn't bring herself to do that. She craved his embrace more than anything right now. Judith brought her body as close to his as she could. "I'm not teasing you," she laughed, Judith opened her eyes and looked up at him. "I'm being honest, there is nothing wrong with being honest."

Judith watched him for a moment in silence then she finally brought herself to speak again. "I have to go shortly," she said, Judith wrinkled her brow and frowned at the thought of leaving him. "I have spent too long here already, Kane must go as well and when he decides to leave I am going with him. I can't stay here," she smiled weakly at him. "Even if I really want to." Judith wondered what the others around them thought. It was odd to see a Light Elf and Dark Elf so close, embracing each other rather than at each other's throats.

He frowned a little was it 12.. yeah it was, maybe he was still a little out of it. Whatever details! "you did a poor job of protecting me.. I was always protecting you. The trouble never seemed to end when you were a child." He didn't seem to mind though, even as a kid he always came back to her. Though what else did he have when he was that young his family was already killed and each time he returned home he was scolded by a different person for venturing out.

"Don't be sorry.. just don't do it again, I can handle myself even if I'm in trouble I always find a way to make out ok in the end" He smiled weakly at her, it bothered him that she felt the need to get involved, she really could have been killed and he would have been unable to do anything about it. Though her next words brought him out of that thought as she spoke again. "there's a lot wrong with being honest..." He spoke softly.

He had his reasons for saying that, she was still teasing him even if she didn't know it. Saying he could do whatever he wanted to her even knowing that nothing more would come of this. What if.. no that's a dumb idea he wasn't going to bring that up.

"I know you do" He sighed a little before releasing her so she could move away if she wanted. Though he stopped for a moment before placing a hand gently under her chin and lifting it upwards. It looked like he was going to kiss her but didn't right away as he moved a little to whisper something to her ear. "I want you to as well.. one day will you?" It was a odd question probably it might take her a moment to get what he was even asking. Though after he was done speaking he moved slightly and kissed her lips with his for a mere second before releasing her chin and moving away in almost the same motion. "don't answer now" He told her before turning to walk away from her.

"we'll cross paths again someday" He had a idea, even if she said no he didn't care it would be better for everyone if things turned out this way. He'd talk things over with Madaes and wait for his wounds to heal before he tried anything too stupid.

Judith jumped a little when she felt Rhyldrin take her chin and lift her face to look up at him. Her ears dropped as she heard him speak. At first she didn't understand, it took her a moment to realise what he was saying. "Rhyldrin," she mumbled his name though she couldn't say much more before she felt his lips press against hers. Judith closed her eyes, when he pulled away she wanted to bring him back for more. She opened her eyes and watched him curiously. What was he thinking? Doing that with other Dark Elves around, they would probably bother him about it later. Then again they would probably not want to anger Rhyldrin, they would keep to themselves. When he told her not to answer him she held back what she had to say.

She let him walk away, Judith didn't speak. She watched him for a moment then turned to go back to her tent. When she entered it she began to grab her belongings. She couldn't stay here any longer, the kiss had tempted her to ask Rhyldrin if he wanted her to stay. She could but at the same time she couldn't. She felt so confused and her head began to pound, her poor mind was all over the place. Kane looked up at her alarmed by behaviour. "What's wrong?" he asked, he lifted himself from his bed and grabbed his own belongings. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Judith didn't answer him, she stormed out of the tent and went to the two horses that Kane had brought back for them.

Kane followed her, he watched as she began to put her belongings on her horse. She still didn't speak and her face was twisted with some sort of emotion, Kane couldn't tell what she was. Sad, angry, maybe in pain. "Judith?" he walked over to his horse and began putting his own things on to it. His ears dropped and he watched her for a moment wondering what she was thinking. Had Rhyldrin said something to upset her? Judith lifted herself on to her horse and looked over at Kane who began to do the same thing. "Let's go," she said, her tone wasn't demanding it sounded as if she was begging for them to leave. Kane didn't speak for a moment, he was afraid that saying anything else would upset her further. "Alright." then they left.

Sure it was a bit reckless to do such a thing in front of others though he hardly seemed to care. He had something on his mind and he needed Madaes to agree with him on it. Though he already knew what would become of this request. He wasn't going to enjoy that. If anyone did have any thoughts on the kiss they very well kept it to themselves. Probably for the better, even wounded Rhyldrin was probably a better fighter then half of the ones standing around here.

After the horses rode off he glared a little at Madaes who had walked over to him. "don't say a damn word" he hissed at the other man. Madaes held his hands up laughing slightly. "wouldn't dream of it, I like breathing thanks." A similar statement to what he had said to Rhyldrin before.

"so whats your plan?" Rhyldrin looked at him oddly when he asked. "you seem to have a idea in your head or you wouldn't have stuck around the camp this long, and whatever it is you need me for.." Rhyldrin smirked a bit before answering him "you know me too well. I do need you, I need to speak to the Queen and I'm assuming you do as well to report the events here.." Madaes nodded a little before they both started walking again.

It was probably a few weeks later after the minor blood bath, most of the major fights seemed to come to a stand still. The Queen of the dark elves took this time to send a sole messenger, bearing a white flag to prevent him from being attacked or suppose to anyways, towards the light elves capital with a parchment. It was requesting a reply message and a meeting time to discuss certain matters, if the King agreed to the matter that the parchment stated then he would have to send a reply.

Judith had returned to the capital, her home. Due to her brother's passing and being the only living child in her family she was sent home. The other Light Elves, her neighbours and friends, were silent as she stepped into the capital. They had heard of her brother's death, they watched silently wondering how much pain Judith was in. Though really Judith didn't mourn Brishen at all, it was best not to let anyone know that of course. She would keep how she truly felt to herself and accept their condolences. Judith had brought the horse that Kane had given her home with her, needing it to bring back all of her belongings. In her hands she held her brother's sword. Judith felt sick holding it, how much blood had he shed with it? Rhyldrin's blood had once been on it. She stopped by her home and strapped the horse to the fence. "Stay here," she whispered softly.

When Judith entered her home she was not greeted, she heard someone stir in the living room. They stood from a seat and she heard their boots against the ground. Her ears dropped as she saw her father. She wasn't too sure how he would react to her being home, their eyes met and Judith extended her arms. He looked down at the sword in her trembling hands, then he took a step forward and gently took it from his hands. Judith looked up at him nervously, she didn't know what he was thinking. His face was expressionless, he seemed to be just a shell of a man. She didn't remember if he even smiled when she was a child, all she remembered was him yelling at her.

He stepped over to the kitchen table and laid the sword on it. A sudden realisation overcame Judith, where was her mother? She opened her mouth to speak but closed it as her father approached her. He lifted a hand to her face and brushed a few strands of hair from her face. "Judith," he breathed out heavily then wrapped his arms around her hugging her tightly. "My baby girl, you're finally home." she flinched from the sudden hug. Though she accepted his embrace, it had been something that she craved as a child. "Father, where is mother?" she asked then look up at him. For the first time she saw her father display an emotion, he wrinkled his brow and frowned, a horrible sadness filled his eyes. "What is it?" she cried, his ears dropped and his face was twisted with pain. "Your mother was a strong woman-" her ears dropped, sudden tears rushed from her eyes. "What are you saying? Where is she?" she screamed, she tried to pull away from him but he held her close. "She's no longer with us." his voice cracked, her heart sank. "What happened?" she sounded as if she as begging him, why had she not known? "Judith..." she slammed her fists against his chest. "Tell me!" she screamed at him. She was overwhelmed by so many emotions, she felt confused and she breathed heavily between uncontrollable sobs. "She was killed by Dark Elves." he whispered. Judith stumbled backwards, she sank to the ground and her father did too still holding her. "I'm sorry Judith, I'm so sorry." he rocked her back and forth in his arms.

It had taken some time for her father to convince her to go to her room. Judith held back her tears and swallowed her sobs. Judith went into her room, she closed her door behind her and slid a bar across it. She didn't want to be bothered, she didn't want to hear people give her their condolences for her brother. She didn't want to even talk to her father despite how loving he was. She went to her window and opened it, she breathed in though her nose was stuffed from her crying. She went to her bed and crawled on to it. Her body sank into it's comfort and she buried his face into her pillow.

She jumped a little when she felt weight being added to the bed, her ears perked up when she heard a familiar chirp. Judith lifted her head from her pillow and her eyes fell on the little dragon. "How did you get out here?" she watched him for a moment then turned over on to her back. She lifted herself from her bed sitting up and rubbed her sore eyes. The little dragon crawled into her nap and looked up at her. Judith looked over at her window and became lost in her thoughts. Was Rhyldrin here? No, the little dragon had just followed her scent that's all. She fell back on her bed and brought one hand to the little dragon. He cooed happily as she scratched under his chin and behind his ears. She closed her eyes, she wanted Rhyldrin to be here. She wanted him to hold her and comfort her. She stopped scratching the little dragon, he pawed at her hand and looked up at her. Judith had fallen asleep, he snorted then laid his head on her hand.

--------

Guards escorted the messenger to the castle. They told any nosey villagers to mind their own business and to continue with their lives. If anyone where to attempt anyone they would not hesitate to strike them down. Any news of peace was good, the guards were thrilled when the messenger arrived and told them what he had to say. They stormed into the castle bringing the Dark Elf with them, he was out of breath from his travels but there was no time to rest. This message had to be delivered. They would take care of him after then allow him to be on his way.

Bryon, the king, was speaking to a Light Elf princess from another land. He looked up from her as the doors to his room swung open. He stood, an expression of anger washed over his face though it became twisted with confusion as he saw a Dark Elf with them. He opened his mouth to spoke though the guard interrupted him to explain themselves. "The Dark Elf queen sire!" Bryon's face lit up, was this good news? "She wishes to speak to you, you must send her a message back immediately!" Bryon looked over at his guest. "Please forgive this interruption, I must ask you to leave now." the woman stood, she seemed a bit irritated though she smiled sweetly at him, bowed then left. He brought his attention back to the Dark Elf. "Tell the queen that she is welcomed here, I wish to speak to her as well. It's about time that this war comes to a end."

After the message from the king he allowed to guards to walk him back to the outside of the palace. As soon as his horse was taken care of and in good enough rested condition to run again he took his leave from the capital. Sure he and the beast was tired and pushed to the limit from running the whole way but this was important. Really he thought this would have gone much worse.

It took a few days to get back to the Queen but when he did he quickly rushed to her throne room and dropped to one knee panting and trying to catch him breath before explaining to her the words from the king of the light elves. She stood after he finished speaking, this was very good to hear she seemed pleased as she dismissed the messenger and told him to rest his duty was done.

Though she quickly turned and smiled a bit at the two that were in her current company, one being Madaes and the other oddly enough Rhyldrin. "seems things may begin to settle once more.. " She sighed though it seemed to be a content one. "go get two others Madaes I Don't want to travel there overly guarded bu bring the best none the less." She had finished speaking as she dismissed them both, though this was good news Rhyldrin hardly seemed as thrilled as he should be.

Madaes did as he was told getting two others that he trusted with this task and knew were the top of the top. They'd need the best in case this was just a false message though everyone that had heard prayed it wasn't.

It took a few days to prepare for this meeting, going over a few what if's to ensure the Queen would be safe no matter what. After the preparations were complete The group of five rode out on horse back, though they weren't as rushed as the messenger had been. Altogether the travel time and preparations took at least a week, and they had sent a messenger ahead of them to let King Bryon know that the Queen was headed there.

Just outside of the light elf capital this little group was a sight to be hold to say the least. For starters five dark elves this close to the Light elf capital was making some nervous. But aside from that the group of them were donned in the Queens royal attire being dressed in red and black. Madaes had a slightly different dressing due to being a battle mage but the other two were dressed in what seemed to be full armor. Then Rhyldrin who had been forced to accompany the Queen and her party on this seemed to also be in similar colors. A bit of a change from what he normally wore being in half armor.

He sighed heavily waiting for the light elves to make up thier minds on what to do with the group. "tell me again why I had to come?" He asked Madaes who shook his head a little "you've been in the capital before so your the best bet we have if anything should go wrong to ensure the Queen can safely escape." He smirked a little "aside from that your one of the best duel blade fighters we have, so feel honored that you got to come"

Rhyldrin was hardly honored he hated this forced outfit he had on currently. "never again.." he hissed out towards Madaes who laughed at his remark. Sure the Queen over heard all of this but she had dealt with Rhyldrin before and this was more or less forced upon him, so she would let him complain for the time being. He'd be silent when it was needed and Madaes was right he was the best bet they had to her safety should something happen.

After a few moments a few guards came to the gates and said they would escort the group to the palace, from there someone else would pass word to the king that they were here. This was also the point where they left the horses behind, they would be put in the stables near the palace.

Once they got up to the palace and were escorted in someone from the ground floor walked off to get word to the king of his guests. Madaes was half looking around trying to keep a eye open in case it was needed when he noticed that Rhyldrin seemed bored with it all. "so whats it like to be back here?" Rhyldrin sighed a little "bout the same though I never got to see the ground floor to be honest."

It was just a bit of morbid humor between the two, though they skipped details they hardly wanted to start anything it was more or less passing the time. He was half wondering if Judith was here, he had heard that they sent a few of the encampments back to the capital after the commanders death, but he had been too busy to see if she was still around somewhere. Oh well it might have been for the better he was a bit forward the last time he was around her.

Judith had heard her father speaking to another Light Elf downstairs about their visitors. She lifted herself from her bed and wandered over to her window. Judith pushed her hands against the glass and opened it half way, allowing herself to poke her head out to take a look. She had spent most of the week in her room, keeping to herself. The only time she spoke was to her father briefly when he brought her food or advised her to get fresh air. She spoke mostly to the little dragon who she hid in her room and had began to spoil with attention. She still had not come up with a name for him, really she didn't know if he already had a name or not.

The little dragon climbed up her curtains and perched himself on her windowsill. He looked up at her and chirped, he was wondering what was happening as well. "Be quiet," she hissed at him, Judith brought a finger under his chin and scratched him. "I can hear voices, only whispers and I can't make out what they are saying." she sighed quietly to herself, she felt insane speaking to the little dragon. She leaned out further to get a better look, she saw horses and her eyes wandered over the Dark Elves who sat on them. She had heard about how the talk of peace had been revived. Judith knew the king, he seemed to have interest in her and used any excuse to speak to her. It didn't surprise her when she heard the rumours, Bryon had wanted peace ever since his father's death had caused the war.

Judith began to lose interest though something caught her eye. One of the men looked familiar then she was smacked in the face as she realised who he was. She bit her tongue preventing herself from calling his name. Judith looked down at the little dragon and began to whisper. The little dragon squirmed with excitement, he had caught Rhyldrin's scent and wanted to go to him. "Find him," she said to him. "Bring him here but don't be reckless and don't get caught." the little dragon chirped, she wondered if it actually understood what she had said. The little dragon climbed down the vines that grew around and under Judith's window. Judith watched him run until she could no longer see him.

------

It didn't take long for Bryon to step out from his meeting room. He walked down the steps slowly, careful not to trip as he did so. His nerves were getting the best of him, he had been king for three long years now and during those three long years he had fought to end the war and now it seemed that the end was near. The Dark Elf queen was here, with little men though he assumed they were her best. He shooed away any guards who wished to escort him, he didn't mistrust the Dark Elf queen or her men. His men thought he was a fool, one day his actions would cost him his life.

Bryon stopped at the end of the stairs, he was some feet away from the group not wanting to get too close. He smiled at the queen and bowed. "Welcome," he said, his voice was rough though it was filled with kindness. "Please, I only wish to speak to you. May I escort you to my room?" he reached out a hand waiting to take her's. Bryon's eyes wandered over the men, he recognized a face though he kept any comments to himself. When the queen brought her hand to his he slowly escorted her up the stairs carefully. There was no rush.

The dragon understood well enough, he knew both Rhyldrin and Judith enjoyed one anothers company and it could tell she wanted to see Rhyldrin. It went as fast as it's little legs could carry it keeping off the street and out of sight. This was harder to do then it thought seeing as the guests of the king had caused the town to be in a bit of a fuss trying to find out what was going on.

After a bit of a run it made it to the palace and slipped in when someone opened the door, after tat it had the long task of tracking Rhyldrin down once more.

The queen bowed her head slightly before saying a slight greeting and accepting the kings hand. She could hold her own if he were to try anything though Madaes disliked this idea. He looked to rhyldrin who seemed to act like he just saw a damned ghost after the king had turned and was escorting the Queen away. "whats wrong with you?" he asked after the two were out of ear shot.

Rhyldrin flinched a little before laughing under his breath "I think I was a used" He felt a little ill about now as he thought about it, the face it looked so much like that young man that hired him or gave him the contract to kill the last king.. what the hell? He'd worry about it later.

"I think i'm going to step out, this place isn't my style anyway .. let alone I half feel choked in this damned get up" Madaes nodded a little but told him to watch himself and to not do anything stupid. Rhyldrin waved him off, when was he doing things that were stupid.

He left the room leaving the three behind, he hardly seemed to care about the odd looks he was getting. Hell they had his weapon what did they think he was going to bloody do. Though after he turned a corner he heard a sudden chirp near a wall as he glanced down. "what the.. " He just looked at the little dragon for a moment before he moved to pick it up and stood there awkwardly. "thought I told you stay with her, bloody thing" he sighed a little, though the dragon chirped again sounding annoyed before it motioned it wanted down.

"tsk fine whatever" he said sitting the creature down, it took off ahead of him a little once they were outside of the doors of the palace and chirped trying to make him follow. He frowned a bit, he didn't need to go running off in the middle of the Light elf capital.. there were still plenty here that disliked dark elves, hell there were still plenty of dark elves that would rather kill a light elf then make peace.

He sighed finally before he took a step and started following the little dragon, it wasn't going to let him be till he followed it would seem. Though about this time he wished he had a blade from the odd looks he was getting from people just in the streets. Though the dragon seemed smart enough to get them both off of the main street as soon as possible to avoid further interaction with the citizens of the town.

"where the hell are you trying to take me anyway" he hissed at the dragon still following close behind it, though the dragon did nothing more then chirp and continue leading Rhyldrin along. The dragon knew where he was taking him, and he figured that Rhyldrin wouldn't be as angry then.

Judith went to one of her side tables and took out a two candles from the drawers. She went back to the window and set the two candles by it. One at one end, the other of course at the other end. She lit them allowing the window to glow. Judith brought herself away from her window and went to her bed, before she sat on it she checked her door assuring herself that it was locked. If her father knew what she was doing then he would certainly be mad. Judith sat on her bed, she took out a few more candles from her side table and lit them bringing more light into the room. She let out a nervous sigh and she began to play with her hair to occupy herself. She wondered if the little dragon could convince Rhyldrin to follow him, she wondered if the little dragon would even be able to find him.

------

Bryon ignored the whispers behind him as he brought the queen to his room. He opened the door and held it open for her. "You first," he insisted, he smiled warmly at her. When she entered he followed her then shut the door behind him. Bryon wandered to a rather luxurious chair and brought it to sit in front of his desk. He usually made his guest stand unless they were royalty, unless they had some importance. Once the queen was seated he went around the desk to his own seat and sat down finally.

He looked up at her, his eyes met hers and he would not look away as they spoke. "Please forgive me for taking so long to reach out to you," he breathed out a sigh. "Though you came to me before I went to you, I'm sorry." his smile became weak, Bryon sat in his chair properly. His shoulders back and head high, he seemed very formal. "I wish to end this war. There is no reason to continue it, unless of course you don't agree to end it. Though that isn't the case here." he cleared his throat, he felt a little awkward talking to her really. It was strange to have his so called enemy's queen sitting across from him. It seemed that his father's death had caused more problems than he had thought. He should have known better.

The dragon after awhile longer stopped at a house that had two candles lit int he window. It chirped again before looking back towards Rhyldrin and then climbing back towards the window the same way it had climbed out before. Once it reached the window it climbed in and half flopped it's self onto the floor before running towards Judith and chirping loudly.

He stopped just short of a few feet from the house before sighing heavily. "what the bloody hell are you doing.. damned lizard" He sighed, what did it want him to do.. this would be easier if the thing could speak common.. but that took years for any dragon to come close to that ability.. if this one could even manage that. Sure he should have put two and two together.. light elf capital and the dragon leading him to a house.. But he was a bit dense at times, not only that but he was still slightly confused by the king. He swore it was the young man who hired him over three years ago.

~~~~~~~~~~
She sat silently as she listened to the man speak. She nodded her head a little to a few things he had said. Once he seemed finished she spoke herself, holding a noble yet soft tone in her voice. "We both took too long to end this, so we are both to blame" She seemed a little saddened by this, she could have prevented some loss to both sides if she had sent a messenger earlier.
"Either way, you are right this needs to end, theres been so much blood shed and both sides have lost enough sons and daughters .. " She paused a moment before speaking again getting her breath. "I come here today as the leader of the dark elves of the forest that boarders your lands, me and my people are tired of fighter and trying to keep what has been ours all these years... Word of peace between the elven people needs to be spread and soon. Or there will be nothing left to defend or fight for aside from a corpse littered land." She seemed serious in her words yet they held a bit of sorrow, she had lost some of her personal friends and trusted allies in this war, it had lasted too long.
Judith jumped a little when she heard a thud. She turned and looked down at the floor, the little dragon chirped happily and went to the side of her bed. He quickly climbed up using the sheets then went to her side. "You didn't find him?" she asked, she was a bit disappointed. The little dragon climbed on to her late and stood on it's hind legs. It whined and tugged on the frills of her dress. Judith brought a hand too him and pried him from her dress. "Is he here?" her ears dropped and she felt a little nervous. She placed the little dragon on her bed and stood from her bed. Judith went to her window and peered out. Somewhere in the darkness she heard a sudden noise. "Rhyldrin?" she almost whispered his name, afraid that her father would hear her. She waited for a response, she was eager to hear his voice.
------
Bryon listened to her, the sorrow in her voice was almost unbearable. He felt guilty, the war was his fault though even without his father's death he knew that the damn man would have started a war with any reason. He had to be killed, Bryon couldn't imagine how his people would be living right now if he still held power over them. His ears dropped a little, he was silent for a moment then he finally spoke. "I wish for nothing but peace between the Dark Elves and Light Elves and it will happen." he smiled at her, Bryon slipped open a drawer and took out a piece of paper. It was old and looked worn, it was meant for peace treaties. He didn't hesitate to sign it then he pushed it towards her. "I will tell my people once you have signed, everyone will know that the war has finally ended."
The dragon wiggled it's tail happily after she finally figured out what he had been trying to tell her. Though the dragon never thought about the fact she was on the second floor. Not that it really mattered that much, he figured Rhyldrin could climb if he needed to.
He was about to leave giving up on the damned dragon but he heard someone say his name as he turned back around and looked towards the voice he heard. "heh.. well that explains the dragon doesn't it.." He shook his head a little before speaking again, though he was keeping his voice down a bit himself, it wasn't safe still and here he was in the middle of the light elf capital near the one person he probably should avoid till things settled.
"your just trying to get me in trouble aren't you?" He needed to get back before the signing process was over, he'd get hell for it otherwise. But .. at the same time he was glad to see her, at least she was safe here
Madaes was looking over his shoulder waiting for Rhyldrin to get his ass back here, but one of the other two asked where he had run off to anyway. Madaes laughed a little "You wouldn't believe me if I told you.." He had a good idea of where he ran off to, though he didn't know that Rhyldrin till now didn't know that Judith was here.
~~~~~~~~~

She smiled at him, it was a warming smile really even though her cold blue eyes still held a small amount of sadness in them . Only time would heal the wounds, but this was a start. She looked the paper over for a few seconds before signing it as well. "then.. it's over, for the most part. " She let out a heavy sigh, this was good news all the fighting could come to a end. Everyone could go to normal lives again instead of looking over their shoulder to see if the enemy was there.

Judith smiled down at him, she leaned against the edge of her window on her elbow. "I'm sorry," she said though she didn't mean it. She wanted to thank the little dragon for finding him and bringing him here so quickly. It had not taken as long as she had thought it would have. "What are you wearing?" she asked then tilted her head to the side. Her eyes wandered over him, from his feet to his head. A smile crept across her face and she laughed quietly to herself. "You don't usually look so..." she paused for a moment trying to think of the right word. "Fancy!" she was teasing him of course. Though she thought he looked alright in his current clothes, he looked rather cute.

She looked over her shoulder and listened for a moment to see if anyone was outside of her room listening. She could still hear her father downstairs chatting away with his friend. She looked back down at Rhyldrin and frowned. "Rhyldrin," her ears went down a little and she smiled weakly at him. "Come up here, don't say no, don't question why, shut your damn mouth and get up here." she laughed then pulled herself away from the window, Judith stood by it waiting for him to come into her room.

------

Bryon stood from his seat and went to her side. "Let us go tell them the news," he said with confidence. Bryon was thrilled that peace would now come between the Dark Elves and Light Elves. It may have taken three long tedious years but the day had finally come. He reached out his hand and gently took her hand in his. "My people are been a bit nervous, though they have craved peace for as long as I have. They will be thrilled and," he paused for a moment wondering if he should say what he wanted to. "I want to have a celebration, this day shall be remembered." as she stood he held her hand in his escorting her out of the room and back down the stairs. "Will you join my people and I in celebration tonight? You may invite your men and others, bring as much people as you wish to. My home is your home and it shall always be starting today." he smiled at her warmly though he went quiet as he reached the end of the stairs. He let go of his hand and looked over at the men who she had brought. One was missing, the one that he had met before. Bryon grew curious, where had he gone?

His ears went back as soon as she mentioned his current wardrobe. He knew that was coming. "laugh all you want... I got roped into coming with the Royal guard and was told to wear it... " He muttered a few other things under his breath though it was more or less him cursing it and swearing he was burning it after he was done here. He hardly cared to look any certain way, he liked his normal attire, it was easy to move around in and simple.. instead of this flashy get up.

He looked at her oddly when she spoke his name again, what was she going to say now probably could go on a while for his change of clothes. Though she didn't say another word about them. Instead she was telling him to.. that was almost the oddest request he had ever heard. He looked towards the palace a moment before sighing, he needed to hurry up this was going to get them both in trouble or at least that's what he felt.

"don't say no huh.." he laughed slightly, demanding wasn't she. Though he did as he was told quickly enough, not like scaling a house to the second floor was a real chore or anything. The dragon yawned a little after he stood again once he was in the room, it seemed unimpressed to say the least. "Really to admit it he felt a little odd being in her room.. let alone he could hear talking in another room. That fact worried him a little.

"there I did what you wanted happy?" He seemed a little on edge, he didn't really want to piss the Queen off, he never had many chances to speak with her so he wasn't sure how she was with certain things. But he did know Madaes would give him hell if he wasn't there and he got a gut feeling that he was already late by this point.

~~~~
She listened to him speak as she smiled again and took his hand before standing. "Mine as well, with the war over lives will go back to how they were." When he went on she seemed to think the idea over before agreeing with him it was a good idea, to break the ice a little at the least. "I'll send one of the guards I brought with me to spread the word" She'd keep Madaes near her, he was good company. "Our city is yours as well, maybe we'll hold the celebration there the next year of peace to continue remembering this grand day?"
She noticed about the same time the king did that one was missing she looked towards Madaes who seemed to look a bit nervous. She smiled warmly at him before walking towards the man and whispering near his ear. "you know where he went don't you?" She had a slightly evil sounding tone to her whisper but she was just toying with his mind at the moment.
He flinched a little before nodding and speaking to her. "long story to explainng it though.. and I.. don't think you'd believe me seeing as it's Rhyldrin I'm talking about .." He didn't really want to tell her but she'd find out anyway.. eventually. Unless the girl was going to turn Rhyldrin down after this was officially announced. Not like he was asking her to marry him, hell he never though of Rhyldrin as that type anyway.
The Queen nodded a little before speaking again as she moved away a short distance "you'll have to tell me later then, it seems like a interesting story to say the least"
Judith looked over at her door, her father was being rather loud wasn't he? She looked back up at Rhyldrin and smiled weakly. "My father is downstairs, don't worry too much." she said trying to calm Rhyldrin, she noticed that he seemed a bit on edge. "He has a friend over right now, they have a few drinks in them so they will probably not bother me at all." she laughed nervously then brought herself closer to Rhyldrin. "I get the feeling that that is not the only reason why you seem so on edge. Am I right?" Judith raised her arms and wrapped them around his neck, she leaned upwords trying to level herself with him though it didn't work much. It didn't help that she wasn't wearing her boots either, she was at least an inch or two shorter without them. She pressed her body against his, she looked down for a moment looking over his new outfit. "You look so different dressed like this," she laughed then looked back up at him smiling. "It's nice though, I was just teasing you earlier."
"You don't have to stay for too long," she said, Judith brought one hand down his neck and to his chest touching the material of his new outfit. "You really can't afford to anyways, I assume that you are meant to be at the castle right now?" she breathed out a sigh and went quiet for a moment. "Will you come back?" she finally asked him, her ears dropped hoping that he would say yes. "I want to," she whispered her words. It was her answer to the question he had asked long ago. Though back then he told her not to answer yet, now she finally was. "I want to stay with you, Rhyldrin." she wondered what her father would think of this. Her running off to be with a Dark Elf. He hated them more than he had in the past now. "I don't care what other's think or how hard life might be." she looked into his eyes, Judith felt nervous. She bit her tongue afraid to speak again, she wanted to tell Rhyldrin that she loved him.
------
Bryon couldn't stop smiling, he was thrilled by what had just been accomplished. Peace, finally there would be peace! Perhaps for now between the Dark and Light Elves but it only took so little before the rest followed. He wondered what a world with peace would be like, no discrimination, no hatred, no one would look over their shoulder fearing that the enemy could strike them down at any second. He breathed out heavily, what a wonderful thought it was. Though that's all it was right now, a thought and nothing else. Soon it would become reality he hoped. "Yes, I like that idea. Hold one celebration here, then the next there. We can rotate it," he almost seemed giddy though he kept himself calm. "I will tell my people now, would you like to join me?" he asked her, he brought her hand to his face and gently kissed it.
He let go of her when she went to speak to her men. Bryon wondered what she was saying though he assumed it was about the one Dark Elf that was no longer here. He was also curious as to where he had gone but really it was none of his business or his concern. If he tried to cause trouble then his guards would take care of him without hesiation. Though he doubted that he would, Rhyldrin didn't seem the type to want such a thing. Considering who his parents were after all. Bryon would not tolerate any hatred towards the Dark Elves, if anyone tried to harm his visitors then he would personally punish them himself. He would tell his guards to be weary, he was no fool. Bryon knew that not every Light Elf liked the Dark Elves and some probably didn't want peace with them either.
"Mi'lady?" he bowed and reached out his hand waiting for hers. "Will you join me outside for the announcement?" he asked, Bryon looked up at her and smiled warmly. "The others may join us as well of course." he wondered if the missing Dark Elf would make it back before he told his people. The queen seemed to be an elegant, kind woman though he didn't doubt that she would become irritated easily by such things. Though Bryon thought that maybe the Dark Elf had a good reason for wandering off. Did he know someone in the capital?
