Knight In Deceiving Armor.

This land was once a peaceful and quit one. Until the ruler of the East decided to make his mark within the dirt. Gaining followers of all race's this kings army grew. Slowly member by member it was an army that could stand to no one for everything fell in its path. The North was the first to fall, then the south, and now his eyes laid on the West. With the kings great and ruthless general everything was going according to plan, so he thought. Little did the king know that the West was going to be his biggest challenge yet.

Now that the war is over and the east has been beat there is nothing left for Thalion and Mizuki to stay for. Grabbing and taking what means they have they leave for the southern mountains for a chance of peace. Though that peace never happens as a new darkness clouds the future for the two lovers and why can the cry of a child be herd?

Name: Thalion Lorulm
Age: 25
Race: Drow
Gender: Male
Ranking: Officer of the Western Resistance
Appearance: Standing around 5'9 with dark red choppy cut hair, some of the longer strands staying in his face till he flicks them back behind his ears. His eyes are a erry golden orange and he commonly has a smug smirk on his face no matter the situation. His outfit includes his main two blades and a long bow that he keeps on him slung across his shoulder. From his dress you'd never know he was even a officer rank of the Western army, he wears a more commoner look instead of the Resistance's colors. The only thing that gives his rank away is the shoulder guard he wears on his left shoulder bearing the mark of the Western Resistance and the rank mark for their officers. The rest of his outfit as stated is dubbed down and seems to just be common attire; including a short cut sleeveless black top and then black pants that are wrapped to his legs at the bottom to further prevent noise. He's either barefoot or wearing sandles that can be worked into the lower leg bindings he wears. His hands are also wrapped in a similar fashion to his shins.
Weapon of Choice: Duel daggers, though is also handy with a bow and certain trap types.
Bio: With the word quickly spreading of the other lands falling one by one the West quickly held a call for arms to try and resist the massive army of the East. Sure it was a million to one odds but it was odds that Thalion couldn't resist signing up for, always being one to test the odds. He was a common blade for hire till taking up arms in the Western Resistance, refusing to climb in ranks he remained as a mere officer. He cared little for the silly military ranked titles or what they stood for, it meant nothing to him. All he cared about was standing in the way of the East in order to keep the lands he had called home all of these years, that's what the entire Western force stood for.

He'd get roped into this battle in some way or another so why not willingly join. His skills wouldn't be put to waste and he'd get his chance to cut down as many of the Eastern bastards as he wished. His childhood isn't anything impressive either, the whole reason that he was even a blade for hire was due to how he was raised. Most of his childhood was spent being brought up by the very bandit group that had slain his parents, though he was far too young to remember that far so killing was all that he really knew how to do, that and being stubborn... it was said he had the devil's luck and this fact was proven time and time again.

Ranking: General of the Eastern army.
Appearance: He has a long silver/white braid that he always has hanging over his right shoulder to end at his hip. Light lavender slinted eyes and very pale skin. His build is strong. He has two weapons a bow and arrow set he has on his back as well as a staff. The staff is long and winding at the top to hold in place a lavender chrystal. Jewels hang from woven leather where the bend meets the staff. Wearing a long black cape tied at the neck to meet a black and lavender war hiori. Armored shoes covered his feet and chest. Gloves short and black with mettle guards on top. He stood about 6'2 and was quit but ruthless. He climbed to the top of the army by saving the kings life. That then led into being general of the army for many many years. He was the kings best after all.

There were a few of the Eastern scouts about the area, though he hardly seemed to care. They'd never see him. Hell to most this land wasn't worth trying to conquer.. it was harsh and almost impossibly to grow anything but the hardiest of plants. Sure he had a clear shot on the two he currently saw but he wasn't going to take it, he was bored or his expression showed he was. In truth he wasn't really paying attention. The sun above was making it hard to focus at the moment, he shook his head a little regaining himself as he glanced down from the cliff slide he was spying from. He finally took notice of the scouts being out of his dazed state now. Though he smirked a bit as he drew his bow and loaded a arrow to it as he aimed towards one of the scouts. To fie or not.. choices he seemed to think about it a moment before switching his target to the other scout and released the arrow. It flew through the air straight and true as it sunk deep into the man's neck before he fell off of his horse and onto the ground suddenly. This startled the other scout as he panicked and seemed to look around for the direction of this shot before turning back and heading towards the direction of his camp, or that's what Thalion would have guessed.

"tsk.. " he shrugged off bothering to fire at the other one as he moved and slid himself off of the rock he had been laying on for his shot. Slinging his bow over his shoulder he started walking away from the spot he had recently used. He hardly seemed to have a care in the world, but picking off these scouts were keeping the main force of the rebellion army safe from the eyes of the East. That was his current mission or task so to speak. Where he refused to advance in ranks he was still barked orders at, sure it annoyed him but he'd deal with it. It was better then having no job at all least there was a meal involved and a safe enough place to sleep at night. That's more then some could say, they had a few scouts caught in the recent weeks and they were never heard from, or if they were found it was a dismembered bloody mess in a ditch somewhere.

He didn't walk in the open when he could help it, keeping to the shadows trying to avoid being in sight for too long, he had heard there was a few of the Eastern army with powers but no one lived to talk about it. He sure as hell wasn't going to test his so called Devil's luck.. knowing it, that'd be the time it decided to hold out on him.

He stopped for a moment glancing back to the spot he was just at. Maybe he should go fetch that arrow. It was said there were ways to track a arrow to it's maker, he wasn't sure he believed it but maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to be safe rather then sorry. Ugh that's a long way to walk to get down there though. He sighed before going towards the edge of the cliff close to where he was laying and started to watch his footing so he could climb down and get to the bottom with as few scrapes as possible.

"Hey Thaaaaal!" a sudden voice rang out and echoed a little almost causing Thalion to lose his footing as he glared at the voices owner. "What the hell's your problem?!" he hissed at him as he went back to his climbing process. He muttered under his breath and complained keeping it all to himself.

The owner of the voice was a young girl from the looks of it she smiled at him before climbing to sit on top of the rock he was perched on before. "No problem.. but what are you doing?" She questioned him still being a little loud.

He sighed shaking his head saying this kid was going to get him killed. "we'll call it fetching, now go back to the camp before you get me killed eh? This isn't a place for kids.. geese" Though the girl didn't move from her spot, she was use to him scolding her for almost everything and she knew it was dangerous but when she was a little older she would be allowed to fight as well, she wanted to learn how to do so before then.

Mizuki sighed at the incompetence of his solders! "Why is it so hard to do your job?" He asked the male kneeling before him. "So, let me get this straight" Mizuki began "You were heading to the Western border on your patrol when an arrow came from no where and killed Jorry?" He said nonchalantly. This earned him a nod of the man in front of him. "Fine...I will take care of it my self" Mizuki said almost angerly. It was true what they say, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

Dismissing the man Mizuki stood with staff in hand. Leaving the tent the two guards standing at the door fallowed without question. "Maya" Mizuki said and got the attention of a wolfling beside him. She was tall with midnight black hair, two pointed dog ears tipped with white atop her head. A chest plate kept her heart guarded. Two arm guards shone silver in the moon light. Her lower body covered in a thick fur. Her clawed feet covered in the same mettle that her arms were. "I want you to go get Luna...we have a mission" He said and she gave a nod of her head turning and disapearing into the shadows between two tents.

Heading to the stable Mizuki walked in and headed for the last stall. It was the very last stall in the stable. It was larger then all the others and stored his stallion. Walking over he opened the small door and stepped inside. The horse was pure white with one black spot on its rear end. Climbing atop Mizuki kicked his heels once and set the horse to a trot. As soon as he left the doors of the stable he was in a gallop. Shortly after Luna and Maya where beside him. One a wolfling the other a dragoniod. Mizuki really felt sorry for who ever shot that arrow.

Galloping through the trees they soon got to the fallen man when Maya noticed the horse. Luna was the first to get off her horse to check out the male. Luna had very pale skin with silver and slate blue skales covering the majority of her body. Claws on feet and hand were weapons enough but she still carried a double swords on her back between two folded wings landing on either side of her tail that just ended at her heels. "Judging by the angle" Luna began "The arrow came from the Southern cliff" Luna said standing pulling the arrow out of the males neck.

"The Southern cliff huh" Mizuki said thoughtfully then turned on his horse to look upon both of them. "Luna take the west exit, Maya the East" He said with a smile "Drive this person up the middle so the only place he has to go is down" With that Mizuki turned and looked towards the cliff his lavender eyes glinting evily in the moon light "Then the only place he will have to go is down"

"well.. they work fast don't they" he laughed to himself though it was short lived seeing that two of the riders went towards each exit to that cliff. "shit.. " he hissed out get back to fetch the young girl that never left. They had it about right down was the sole choice and there was a rider that seemed to remain behind. Though it was harder to see Thalion in the dark then the girl, she seemed to be a human out of it all.

"damn it I told you go back to the camp and you never listened! they'll kill you they don't give a damn your a child" he scolded her in the middle of a jump from one of the edges to another. He let a heavy sigh the girl had it rough though her parents were killed in action of course she'd want to fight. "come on once we get to the bottom your to go straight to camp hear me? I'll deal with the riders to draw them from you."

He only cared because the western resistance was the only thing he had known to call family anymore, plus the girl was too young to be killed just yet she hadn't had the time to grow into the fighter she wanted to be. Plus he was a pro at getting out of tight spots.

As soon as he touched down to the bottom of the cliff side his golden eyes met the moonlight as he glared at the girl. "now move it! You dare look back i'll shoot you personally" he warned her before she took off as she was told. There was another exit to the area they were sanding in now.. she'd be safe enough and he was making sure to speak to draw attention to himself.

Before the girl got even 5 paces he already had his bow drawn and ready to fire. He'd hold for now, there was just a single man here.. he'd fire though if he made a move towards the girl. 'why just one person.. why leave one and only come here this close to the boarder with three.. what was the deal?' Where hey that cocky surely not.

He kept his breathing steady and his eyes fixed on his target.. if he moved a inch he was going to reward him for his stupidity. If he knew who he was firing at he might have thought twice, but at the same time he probably wouldn't have. The thought of a challenge was a bit too much for him to handle at times as far as self control went. This would have been one of those times.

For now the girl seemed to clear to safety or at least what was safe enough. He hated being on level ground with the enemy he'd rather have the jump on them from a cliff or rock facing or at least the shadows anything that'd give him a advantage. His fighting style worked best then, but this time at least it had helped one person get away. Living with the thought the girl would be killed if e left her up there he couldn't have dealt with.

'tsk..why are you standing there so damn proud move already' he thought to himself. This figure seemed to freeze as soon as he landed at the bottom of the cliff., maybe waiting for back up? Or maybe he had missed a signal from him and the other two where returning. He needed to buy the kid a little more time to run.. so either way he'd wait and three against one didn't sound too bad not if he could get three good shots.

Mizuki watched everything play out before him. He thought it to be amusing to watched the what seemed to be male help the young female escape. He was about to open his mouth to congratulate the young male on his kind heart until the bow was drawn and the face of that male turned into the moon light. "Wouldent you know it..." He stated to no one but the darkness around him.

You see Mizuki was clever. When he sent Luna and Maya off he slid off his horse and placed basic spell of appearance. With that he ran off and hid in a tree close to the edge of the cliff. There he sat and watched the scene unfold in front of him. 'So have the horse move and he will shoot' thought Mizuki with a smile. Giving a very low whistle when the wind picked up the horse kicked its head up and turned towards the male kneeling on the ground. Staff in hand all he needed to do was have that arrow shot and he would be on top of the other male before he could blink.

Thalion stood there motionless as he waited, something wasn't right. This almost seemed to be too easy of a target and he knew it. His ears went back as he waited, what game was this. He didn't have any sign of the other two that were sent off surely he would call for them instead of dealing with one against one odds. He was still counting his time though to ensure that the child was clear of this, even if something went wrong he could get himself out it .. or at least he could try.

As soon as the horse flinched he released the arrow from the bow though it was aimed for the man and not the horse. He knew damn well he should have waited till the man himself moved bu he was on edge from having to deal with the child and the fact that he knew the other two were still n the area. Even though his aim was good enough he was already in the process of reloading his bow and preparing for the next shot. Or at least that's what he plan was.

Mizuki watched and smiled. As soon as the arrow was released from the mans bow he jumped from the tree. Landing atop the male with his staff hooked around the bow pulling it tight to the males chest. Landing in a crouch Mizuki stood straight as soon as his legs would let him forcing the other male in to and upright position. "Well...what do we have here?" Mizukis voice was calm and collective as if he has done this so many times it seemed effortless to him now. "A little lost Drow firing at shadows" He said before pushing the male that was pressed to his chest out in front of him. Watching the male stumble forward but seeing the bow still wrapped in his staff made him give a cruel smile. Then with one jerk of his staff he herd the snap as it broke.

He hardly knew what the hell hit him till it was too late. He slammed against the ground before he was forced up again, this wasn't good. It quickly clicked in why this felt so wrong before. A shadow image, he really fell for one of them? His ears were still back showing his annoyed mood as the bow snapped though he grinned suddenly drawing two daggers from his waist and readying himself for another strike.

Just because this guy had gotten the jump on him didn't man he was down for the count, the bow was only good for distance fighting anyway. This was close enough range his daggers would be plenty deadly enough. Though he still didn't know that this was the dreaded leader of the Western army. "I hardly think I'm the lost one" He hissed towards the other man. Though he didn't attack this time, he had bought enough time he didn't need to try his luck further.

But he did need a way out of this as he seemed to seek one but he was subtle about doing so making sure to keep his main focus on the person before him with the staff. That didn't look like a mere show stick either.. this one seemed to hold a purpose. Though to admit it things weren't looking to be in his favor even with his blades drawn if this was a magic user.. this wasn't going to end well. Aside from that there were few and far between known users.. the more he thought about it taking in the mans dress and rumors he had heard he had a sudden realization that this could very well be the rumored general of the other army.

Mizuki smiled slightly as he removed the broken bow from his staff almost paying no heed to the young male that now held two daggers in front of him. This all seemed like child play to him. But Mizuki was enjoying himself. It was very rare for him to have fun, so when he did he had lots of fun.

"So..." He said looking to the Drow "An officer of the west" Mizuki said watching the young male. "Let me introduce my self" Mizuki said standing straight his braid falling down his shoulder to softly brush his chest and hip "My name is Mizuki Kinsaki...." He said with a little tilt of his head. "But im growing bored of this." Mizuki said with a little bit of a frown "Now surrender" He said simply.

He frowned a little as the man before him spoke and acted as if he didn't care let alone that he noticed what rank he was. "tsk.. your name means nothing to me and like hell i'm going to bow to the likes of you" he hissed, determined to be defiant till the end. Sure it was a bold move and probably a reckless if not life threatening one but he wasn't going to bow to what was on confirmed to be a dog of the Eatern army.

Even with the man before him being so calm and collected he wasn't backing down either, though his pose was one of someone willing to strike if Mizuki made any sudden moves. Not that he thought it'd do any good sure he was good at hand to hand combat but the rumors fo this person.. he couldn't take down a magic user without some form of a plan. Let aloen the fact he was currently finding himself in a corner with the most dangerous man of the Eastern army.

Mizuki sighed at that "Really?" He asked softly "I thought alot more people would know my name" He said almot talking to himself. Mizuki then gave a shrug of his shoulders "Dosent matter either way" With that Mizuki nodded his head and gave a smile as he watched one of Lunas double swords slide infront of the young males neck. A single move and he would be watching the head roll away like a lost kamatie ball. "So" Mizuki began "Since you did not come quietly or at least tried not to come quietly" Mizuki began "We will take you back to came for questioning" Mizuki said walking over and mounting his horse "And when I say questioning I mean torture" He said simply. "Remove any weapons he may have" He ordered to Maya and watched as she didnt miss a beat for the search of his person. "Then tie him to my horse" Mizuki said watching Luna tie a thick rope around the wrists of the male then the other end to the base of his sattle "Good..." He said then looked to the young male his head at a tilt. The moon light shining behind him gave him an eery glow. His ears outlined by silver hair and his eyes gave just the slightest glow of color "Ready for a run?" He asked evily before kicking in his heels. The horse gave a nae and it was off into the trees.

Sure he had been bluffing when he said the name didn't mean anything to him, he knew who this man was but he wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of seeing any form of fear or worry. No he'd rather be stubborn till the end if it came to it. He was half tempted to make his move now seeing as this cocky bastard thought just mentioning a name was suppose to strike fear into the Westerners.

Though he never got that chance as a blade came close to his neck. Not like he had much of a choice now but to listen to this bastard speak about what they were going to do. "Tsk.. do your worse" he hissed in reply to Mizuki's words, he was still determined to hold his own even if he was about to go through hell he'd be damned if he let the enemy know it concerned him in the least.

There was a the option to try and kill himself before they got a chance to do so in the slowest manner possible... but on the same note there might be a chance that he could escape as well so it would be a waste to die then. 'fuck my life!' he thought to himself, though the thought of being tied to a horse was hardly going over well in his head. The longer he got to think about it the worse he saw this ending. 'heh.. idiot your not walking away form this alive why are you even joking yourself.'

He could have taken the promotions all of those times and moved up in the ranks then he wouldn't be the one out here, but at the same time fate was fate.. knowing his luck he'd some how still end up being the one out here for some ungodly reason. Really he was still irked at himself for falling for a shadow like that, he normally could see through them. Maybe the rumors of this General's skills weren't just mere rumors. If that was the case his life was forfeit from this moment on.

Not that he had a choice while he was being tied to the horse.. but he still tied to fight it, he had half a mind to piss the sword wielder off enough to just do him in now to get it over with. Not that he really worried he'd leak any information but more of the fact he didn't feel like slowly dying over a few weeks time if not longer.

He was tempted to taunt the man saying bring it on but he didn't he already knew it wasn't going to get the death wish he wanted... no this Mizuki was smarter then that, to catch one of the higher ranked members of the Western Resistance he was going to keep him alive as long as possible to ensure they got something out of him before he choked up his last bit of blood and breath. He didn't get much of a chance to think about it much longer before the horse took off after being kicked. Finding himself left with two choices deal with running to the best of his ability or end up being dragged and probably at his luck living through that... he figured he'd have to try to keep up though that was easier said then done, horses easily could out run most if not all beings on two legs.

'this bastard, he better hope I never have a chance to strike at him... I'll kill him!' he sword in his head trying to keep this pace up that he was being forced into, though he knew damn well that it wasn't going to last forever.. pff Mizuki probably knew that as well, though to admit it to himself he was terrified his heart was already racing even before the horse started running. Sure he had dealt with being capture by other groups before under different circumstances.. but this was a war bound group.. he only had gruesome tales to go off of as far as what he should expect, he had been to some of the sites were they recovered the bodies or mangled remains of others that were captured.. all this struggled up until now, was this really his soon to become fate to just be added to a corpse pile somewhere?

Mizuki gave a little snicker to himself as he watched the scene unfold right before his eyes. It would seem as though the young Drow didnt like to be man handled. Mizuki brushed that thought off. It wasnt his fault maybe next time the young male should think twice before killing one of his men. Then Mizuki stopped in his thoughts and laughed at himself. There was not going to be a next time!

Running off into the trees Mizuki glanced behind him to see how the Drow was doing. To his mild shock he was still running swiftly behind the horse. He was sweating and by the looks of his face was getting tired. 'Just how I like to see them' He thought to himself as he saw the tipped over tree infront of them. Now to jump over it causing the stranger to fall in its wake and get dragged the last mile or be nice and go around? Who was he kidding? Mizuki jumped over the fallen trunk of the tree and laughed as he watched the Drow try and fail landing on his chest. 'FINALLY!' Mizuki thought almost evily as he watched the young male being drug for a second before the cloud of dust and debris covered him.

Riding back into the camp Mizuki stopped right before a tent that had two gaurds standing out front "Tie him to post 8" Mizuki said and got a nod from both men. He didnt watch as one came up and cut the rope "And watch him...hes tricky" Mizuki said "He is not to be left alone...ever is this understood?" When he got a "YES SIR" he turned away to his own tent as his horse was taken away. He needed to get ready. For some reason he wanted to deal with this one personaly.

It was all of about twenty minutes before he left his tent. His armor was off leaving him in his battle kimono with a sleeveless hakama covering his torso. His gloves left his hands and clothe took there place covering up his hands for the abuse to come. Walking to the tent with Luna and Maya behind him he stopped at the entrance "I'm going in alone" He said and they both took a place on either side of the tents entrance.

Entering Mizuki smiled at what he saw. There was only two people tied up within the tent. The new Drow that was just captured and a wolfling on the other side of the tent. As he entered the gaurds that were standing there turned and bowed. "The wolf...anything?" He asked and both shook their heads. "Pitty" He said walking over to the fallen warrior. Once long brown hair was now singed and caked in blood and dirt. Clothes hardly there and body broken and bruised. "Last time" He said standing before him "Tell me the base of the camp" The request was simple "I would wrather die" Came the gurgaled reply. "So be it" He said motioning to the gaurds to take the captive male and despose of him.

After that he walked over to where a stripped down Drow was tied to a post. The males hands tied above his head and around the post and his feet spread apart do to the bored tied between his legs. Mizuki was glad the gaurds left him with some dignity and left the now ripped pants of the male on leaving only his chest exposed "So Drow...do you have a name?" It was sick of him to ask Mizuki knew this. But he got some satisfaction when they spoke and their voice dripped with either fear or loathing...sometimes both if he was really lucky.

Sure he had been trying his hardest to keep the pace up, he wasn't really wanting to fall over, that'd hurt worse then forcing himself to keep this pace. Though it would seem he didn't have a choice after the horse cleared a log forcing him to fail at keeping his balance and pace up. He tried a few times to force himself back up but he knew it was a lost cause, at least while the horse was moving there wasn't a way to regain his lost balance. Let alone he didn't have the energy to get back up and running was out of the question.

He had lost track of the time when they did finally reach a area to where the horse stopped. He had to admit everything hurt by then, hell being dragged all that time he knew he was bleeding in more then a few spots shame none of them were that bad. He needed to suck it up though f he was already in pain he was going to hate anything further they did tonight. Though he did manage a cocky smirk listening to the orders from Mizuki. At the least he was labeled as the type to need watch at all times, he'd be a little offended if he wasn't at least some challenge to them.

Though at the same time he was hardly thrilled being forced someone yet again. Though he didn't make it easy on them he refused to give them the satisfaction of thinking they had won just yet. He probably should have fought less, probably would have saved his clothing a little if he did. But at the same time he hardly cared, he had seen the other captive in there and like hell he was going to go down without a fight.

Even being weakened from the run here he was still fighting to his final wind. It didn't take long for the guards to over power him, then again the odds were against him anyway it's not like he could have really won. "Tsk fuckers.. wait till I get out of here!" He yelled at the guards, though they were hardly worried about it seeing as he was already bound. Really he knew it was a rather empty threat but damn it he'd say it anyway it made him feel better.

He was still trying to regain his breath from fighting the guards as he panted a little, really he was trying to control his breathing but between the struggling he had done and the fact his body stung all over he couldn't focus enough to do so. Though he did know he didn't want to end up like the one that the guards just carried out. 'tsk.. damn it what did you get yourself into here?!' He should have left the girl he could have easily gotten away.. damn it all.

His ears went back at the mans voice, he hated being talked down to and in this he knew damn well this guy was making fun of him just by asking a simple question.
