He frowned a little hearing her call out asking what he'd do if she kept going. 'tsk.. smart ass' he said under his breath before answering her. "Nothing if I have any say in it" was his reply to her, and that was his plan he didn't need to do anything to her. Not with the thin ice he was already walking on. Though there was only so much he could take even if he could hide most of his thoughts and feeling son the matter.. he doubted this was the end of her teasing by a long shot.

He wasn't really asleep when she came out of the room, though he acted like it. He had nothing he really wanted to say to her, sure there were a few thoughts but he needed to keep them to himself instead of pushing on the little 'game' they had going. Besides she was going back tomorrow.. though he didn't think it was the best idea not if someone there was the reasons he ran from the camp in the first place.

But that wasn't his business either he couldn't just tell her any crap like hey if anyone hurts you or if you need help tell me. He needed to get his mind together he'd need it with him for tomorrow if he wanted to ensure she got to her camp and without him getting caught in the process. Then he'd avoid going near the damn place.

After a while when Judith had been in the other room for a while he guessed she was either asleep or close to it he got up from where he was and grabbed a shirt throwing it on. She'd be fine here and he couldn't think at the moment, he had a good mind to take the guard he ran into today up on his offer of a few drinks. That's what his plan was anyway as he walked out of the door, it'd be a good way to send off again seeing as he didn't plan to return here for a while once more.

This would also fix his currently screwed up sleeping schedule.. he's suppose to be awake at these hours not sleeping. But they had gotten messed up with his trying to stalk Judith before he knew who she was.. But now he just wanted to get rid of her before she pushed him into a corner where he couldn't stop himself from her teasing.

He stayed away for most of the night it seemed, it was probably around four or five am before he walked back into the house. Though he seemed sober enough for being out that long. He guessed Judith was still asleep so he didn't bother to check up on her as he walked back towards the sofa pulling his shirt back off in the process before flopping onto it again. The whole shirt thing was because it was because he complained about the heat though it was cooler under ground or in the caves he still couldn't stand the temperature. He needed to wait out a few hours then he'd wake her if she didn't get up on her own and start taking her back to her own.

It had taken some time before she finally became comfortable. Judith always had a problem with getting comfortable even in her own bed. It was probably because the bed itself wasn't as comfortable as she would like it to be. She missed her own bed at home. Though even when she finally got comfortable she still couldn't sleep for what seemed like forever. Judith's mind was all over the place, she was tempted to go bother Rhyldrin on the couch. Though she quickly decided not to seeing as he had been grumpy earlier and had not gotten any rest recently. Besides there was only so much he could take before he snapped. She finally fell asleep, giving into her needs.

Judith woke up early in the morning, she wasn't sure what time it was. Perhaps six or seven, maybe even later or it could be earlier, she didn't know for sure. She stretched out her arms above her head and stretched out her legs. Rhyldrin's bed was rather big and she had plenty of room in it unlike her own bed in her tent. It took some time for her to get out of bed, she could tell that she would be cold once she removed the blankets. She sighed and climbed out of the bed, she was right. It was rather cold.

She rubbed her eyes for a moment then made her way to the doorway. Judith looked over at Rhyldrin, it looked as if he was still sleeping. "Rhyldrin?" she purred and brought herself beside the couch. Judith looked down at him smiling, she was tempted to poke him but she managed not to do so.

He never went back to sleep, though he did have his eyes closed so it seemed like he was resting. He was use to laying still and keeping his breathing to a minimal even in his own house he didn't trust most of his own kind. Though he had his reasons to be cautious.. no one had done him any favors aside from Neimi and her husband maybe.

He stayed where he was even though he could hear there was movement from the bedroom, he guessed Judith was finally getting up. About time too he was a few minutes from getting up himself and going to wake her. Though now he didn't have to so he remained where he was being a bit of a better mood then he was last night before she went to bed.

He knew she was there long before she spoke his name, though after she did he opened one eye and looked at her. She seemed to be smiling at him though he hardly knew why. "Yees?" He said to her, seeing as she said his name first he figured she wanted something. Though he didn't seem to be as snappy today after getting most of his thoughts under control.. and probably drinking more then his liver would have wanted him to.

Though even with one eye open he never bothered moving as he continued to lay where he was, he was comfortable.. and it's not like they were in that much of a hurry. She didn't even know that he was planning to take her back today. Though to admit it .. it was a bit odd to look up and see her face like that, let alone why was she in such a good mood?

"I hope that I didn't wake you," Judith's eyes wandered over his body, when he didn't move she assumed that he was too comfortable to do so. Judith brought herself to sit beside the couch, the floor was cold but she would tolerate it. She didn't feel like standing and looking down at him for too long. Eventually her neck would become sore from doing so. "I woke up and I couldn't get back to sleep, though I did sleep well. Thank you for giving me your bed," she looked at him, the smile remained on her face. "Though it would have been better if you kept me company." she teased then laughed.

Judith feel silent, she brought a hand up and let her hair out of the bun. She shook her head and allowed it to fall everywhere messily. "Did you sleep well?" she asked him, Judith wasn't too sure what to talk about. Rhyldrin didn't seem that interested but she was in a good mood and felt like talking. Perhaps he would finally show some interest in her, the only time he had was when she teased him or he was teasing her.

"hardly, I've been awake for a while" Was his sort reply to her saying she hoped she didn't wake him. After she moved to sit on the floor he sat up a little stretching both arms over his head though he caught himself short on hi left one being quickly reminded there was a still healing wound there. "tsk.. that was stupid.. " he muttered under his breath before putting his hand over the spot and squeezing it once.

Though he was still listening to her as she sat in the floor. He moved a bit more so he wasn't taking up the whole sofa. "You don't have to thank me.. most of the time I never sleep in there anyway" He never said why but most of the time it was because if he was here when he was home it was after drinking probably way too much for his own good... and after a while they did knock him out if he stayed still long enough. He next comment he shook his head at a little before laughing slightly he wasn't going to tell her he wasn't even here half er well most of the night. "I think we both known better then that, you can tease all you want i doubt you really enjoy my company that much" He smirked a little it was a little funny to him even if he wouldn't have minded for it to be true.

"well enough, I never sleep well here" Really it held too many memories of his childhood and he was always looking out for his.. stalker so to speak.Though he was still watching her as she sat in the floor, after a moment he sighed before speaking again. "You don't have to sit in the floor.. I don't bite often" The last part was thrown in for amusement, if she was allowed to pick at him he found it fair game.

He almost felt like he was stalling.. he needed to take her back it'd take a few hours to walk that far at the least. Why would he stall though it's not like there was anything between the two of them. Though it was a thought he certainly didn't mind and with her making that tease about keeping her company... that certainly didn't help his thoughts. But for now he wasn't letting it show he was thinking about anything of the sort.

Judith brought a hand to her hair and playfully curled some hair around her finger. She knew that he would bring her back to the camp soon and she wasn't looking forward to it. Brishen would listen to her though, he was a cruel man but he wouldn't tolerate his own sister being stalked by one of his men and harmed. Thinking about it more made her feel as if she should have done worse to Uldric. He really didn't deserve to breath anymore. Judith brought her attention back to Rhyldrin, she wondered how dangerous the little game that they were playing could become. Though she doubted that Rhyldrin could hurt her, he wouldn't hurt her even if he decided to try anything because she wouldn't mind.

"How do you know that?" she asked him when he said that he doubted she would really like his company. Judith smiled at him when he moved giving her space to sit beside him. She stood and brought herself to the couch, she sat down without hesitated and crossed her arms over her chest. She chewed on her lower lip then stopped when she decided to speak again. "You would be surprised at what I like," she looked at Rhyldrin and smiled, she wasn't trying to look alluring though she didn't have to try. "And if you bite then I don't mind." she wondered how far she could push him before he snapped.

He had half a mind to ask where Judith got the marks on her wrists from.. but he doubted she'd tell him. Though she didn't say too much about it either so he figured she could handle whatever her issue was with her own kind by herself. Not like he could do anything unless she gave him a description of this 'person' she was having trouble with as she stated before.. though then he'd still have to leave the camp.

He let that thought go knowing he didn't have a right to ask when she didn't seem to want to tell him. He didn't even need to worry about her this much if it came down to it she had been fine all of these years so why worry now. He blamed the slight lack of sleep to his minds thoughts and worries all of a sudden though he didn't voice any of them.

"hrm?" He questioned her how did he know but he laughed after she asked it he had a smart ass answer though he was joking really "Because if you enjoyed my company that damn much you'd beg to stay here" He sort of laughed again at the fact he even said that aloud. Though it might have been dangerous to say such a thing with how she had been acting recently.

He gave her a bit of a odd look yet it was more of he didn't believe her still as he spoke again "oh would i now? I'm almost curious enough to ask" He smirked a bit though he didn't ask what she liked, he knew very well she was probably bold enough to turn that question against him if he did so. He seemed to be watching his steps this time around instead of being as open as he had been when they were in the forest. Though he had his reasons for this he still debated if he trusted her, and he wasn't sure how far she was willing to go with her teases and taunts.

Though her next comment made him laugh again, she was still a odd one that was for sure. Saying such strange things like that.. let alone to someone who she's suppose to be wanting to kill. "I was joking about that you know" Though he still had a sort of smirk on his face finding this all amusing and from the events last night after she went to sleep it probably wasn't helping.

"I don't beg," she hissed at him playfully. "If you wanted me to stay then I could but I think that would just end up causing you more problems than you really need." Judith wouldn't know how to react if Rhyldrin asked her to stay with him, though she doubted that that would ever happen. "Even if me staying here didn't cause you problems it would certainly cause me problems." she smiled warmly at Rhyldrin despite the subject. "My brother would notice that I'm gone and Uldric-" she paused for a moment realising that she had said the bastard's name. "They might look for me, especially because of what I did to that bastard." she smiled at Rhyldrin almost tempted to tell him what had happened. Judith had another reason for not being able to stay. If she did then it would only make Brishen suspicious of her and the other Light Elves as well. Why would someone who had done nothing wrong hide? It made her look as if she had attacked Uldric instead of her having to defend herself.

Judith brought a hand to her hair and she played with it, she wished that she had a brush with her. She couldn't find one when she had gone to bathe. "I'm not a child anymore," she said still smiling at him. Her eyes wandered over his body, why be subtle? She did find Rhyldrin rather attractive. "I'm not as innocent as I use to be if that's hard to believe." she laughed, she wondered how odd it was for Rhyldrin to see his child hood friend like this, all grown up. It was quite odd for her to see him like that. "Though I guess that that's not really hard to see with the way that I'm acting." she mumbled quietly to herself.

"I would actually consider staying," she said bringing the subject back to life. "I wouldn't mind it at all, but I get the feeling that you could only take so much of me before I drove you insane." Judith didn't really say what would drive him insane. Either it be her constant flirtatious teasing or her constant need to talk. "You're cute, so I could tolerate your temper." Judith's eyes met his and she almost felt giddy.

"Eh.. probably, not like I don't have a mountain of problems right? I already have the flattering titles that float among the crowds." Though he'd never have it any other way in truth.. it made people leave him alone and that's how he wanted it. Though he never told her that it was because he was known to kill both sides. it was just a matter of who crossed him.

He'd never ask her to stay not just out of the blue like that.. it wasn't a fair thing to ask and she had a point her brother was a huge issue. Rhyldrin wasn't sure even how that fight would end. He guessed the rumors of his skills with a blade were not just mere rumors for him to be a commander of one of the light elf units.. let alone one that large. Though the problem could be solved if he killed her brother.. though that returned his mind back to the fact he wasn't sure of the fights out come.

Though she had mentioned a name as well in her sentence it made him curious. She brought it up not him. "I'm guess that this Uldric is why you have a bruise on your face and your wrists are marked up?" He had seen his fair share of bruises and he could tell the wrist ones were from her struggling against someone .. the face he was going to guess was the same person but she had done something to piss him off. "You don't have to answer but I already knew the story behind them without you saying anything" He said closing his eyes for a moment, he oddly seemed to have a hidden reason for wanting to know if that was the man's name who did leave marks on her.. though it wasn't because he thought of her as his or anything but he couldn't stand the idea of someone having the chance to kill her in the process of trying to do something she didn't want. But that was more of going back to all the years he had protected her and gotten her out of trouble or saved her from whatever was after her..

But for the very reason she needed to get back to the camp .. her brother alone could be a force to deal with.. he wasn't about to give the blood thirsty commander a reason to sweep the dark elf area and kill most if not all of the paroling units. He was a little less worried from what she said seeing as whatever happened between her and this Uldric.. she seemed to get the better of him. Though that didn't mean he wouldn't still be having a urge to track this light elf down.. but then again he'd probably end up doing that anyway if he was planning to eventually go after Brishen..

"I think I've noticed your not.. " he laughed slightly, it was hard to not notice.. he would have never have guessed this was the same girl he was always dragging out of trouble as a child. He noticed her eyes wandering, he was debating getting his shirt now before she got too caught up in her 'looking'. But for the moment he didn't move as she continued to talk. he laughed slightly hearing her mumble "It's.. not something I was expecting to see to tell you the truth, I had long given up seeing that little red haired girl that was always getting in trouble ever again... that's been over ten years ago it's only natural that you'd change I'm sure we've both changed quite a bit from then even if we don't let onto the changes." He wasn't really sure what to say to her.

He looked at her a little oddly when she brought back the idea of staying here, he had been joking but apparently she missed the fact it was a joke. "I think i'd make due.. you didn't drive me insane as a child.. I" He didn't finish what he was going to say that he rather enjoyed her company as a kid.. she was the only person that had gotten him to open up a bit or even bother talking.. She was still the only one to ever get him to reconsider a action before he executed it. Though all of the thoughts were gone after she said the word 'cute'. He was going to glare at her but her eyes seemed locked on his, it was almost unnerving to him with the gaze she had. "It doesn't commonly get as bad as last night." what the hell was he saying he was almost encouraging this unwillingly with a causal conversation. 'stop getting lost in yourself' he was trying to talk himself out of this little trance he seemed to be in with just going with the conversion.

Judith fell silent for a moment wondering if she could bring herself to tell him what had happened. It wasn't that bad, Uldric had not done anything to her other than leaving some bruises on her body. She had done far worse to him anyways, Rhyldrin would probably find it some how funny. "Yes," she answered his question finally and smiled weakly at him. "I have had problems with him before and he tends to bother women." she chewed on her lower lip then spoke again. "You don't have to get involved or worry about me. I can take care of myself, he didn't get far before I gained control of the situation. I probably could have done worse to him if I really wanted to..." Rhyldrin would probably find it odd that Judith actually wished to harm someone for once. She didn't mention that Uldric probably intended to rape her. Judith thought that it would only drive Rhyldrin to want to protect her even more, though that would be an odd thing considering how he had threatened to do the same thing just the other day.

She laughed as she remembered being a child. "I always worried my parents because I never listened. They didn't want me to go to the forest but I did anyways and once.." she went a little quiet, Judith brought a hand to her face and she pushed her hair away from it. "Another child had seen me with you and he told my parents. Though no one knew that we met all the time, after that I was very careful and made sure that no one followed me out of the capital."

Her eyes looked at him curiously, wondering what he had stopped himself from saying. Though if he didn't want to say it then he didn't have to. "Is there anything that I can do?" she asked then smiled. Judith brought herself close to Rhyldrin, if she really wanted to she could kiss him. She wondered how he would react to such a thing, his reaction would probably make her laugh or maybe not. She brought a hand up to his face and brushed his hair from it. "You should keep your hair away from your face," she purred. "You have beautiful eyes and I would like to see them more often." she laughed then brought her hand away. "Though I probably won't for a while after this, will I? When do you plan to bring me home?"

Judith was right when she thought that her sudden disappearance would ho unnoticed. After her little incident with Uldric how could she be easily forgotten anyways? Uldric made sure to bother Brishen about it, he probably would until Brishen found his sister and questioned her. "If she doesn't return by tomorrow then we will go looking for her," he sighed a little annoyed by this. "Stop bothering me about it, maybe you think that I'm a fool, Uldric. I know that my sister wouldn't do harm to anyone who didn't deserve it. I don't even know why she was sent out here, she doesn't belong in the war." he was rather pissed with the fact that she had been sent here. Uldric kept to himself, he remained quiet as Brishen spoke. He could bother Brishen more but he knew that pushing the man any farther was asking for trouble. "Anyways," Brishen cleared his throat. "I have more important matters to attend to, there are some Dark Elves causing a fuss in the forest. They need to be taken care of and I expect you to be out there helping."

"I wasn't planning to get involved" He had enough issues with light elves without going out and purposely looking for one. Though if he was planning to seek out the commander of that group then he was sure he'd cross into this guy she spoke of at some point or another. Though from the sounds of it.. unless she killed him first. "I almost feel sorry for the guy now, I don't think I've ever known you to want to hurt someone." He did find it funny, though he was joking about feeling sorry for the bastard. Though she hardly had to tell him what the man's intentions where.. he knew what he had tried to do to her.. sure it would be odd if Rhyldrin said he'd watch out for her and that was crossing the line seeing as this guy sounded like a push over if he had to pick on women. Though it did make Rhyldrin feel a little guilty seeing as a few days ago he threatened to do the same thing to her.. even if he wouldn't have really done it.

He fell silent when she started talking about their childhood again, why couldn't things be that simple anymore? He didn't really seem to have a comment for her probably getting in trouble at least a few times due to them meeting up. Really he had been caught a few times the days that he didn't show up were probably the same ones that he was getting some form of punishment for going so close to the edge of the forest. He almost grew to hate his childhood the more he thought on it. Not really the time spent with her but more of the fact he didn't really have any other fond memories aside from when he could escape from this very area.

"hrm? that you can do? That's a odd thing to ask" he said to answer her, it was a little out of the blue like that. Though he didn't get anything else out as she moved and moved his hair to the side. He made a face at her comment before speaking "tsk you wouldn't know who i was if I bothered getting it cut." Truth was he was almost never in one place too long even in the forest so he never thought much on his hair. "besides what if I like it this way" he said before moving his hand and flicking the bit she had moved back in place. Though he wasn't lying she probably wouldn't know him or recognize him if he got a hair cut.. aside from the scar.

"No you won't.. so it doesn't matter now does it. As far as taking you back.. that's as soon as possible." He didn't tell her that he had no intention of seeing her ever again even if he enjoyed her company still.. he didn't want to risk getting her in trouble if the game she seemed to enjoy dragging on went too far. "We can leave now seeing as your awake." He could force himself to go back to how things were before he ran back into Judith, that's how they were meant to be. It's not like he was in love with her or anything sure he cared or had a slight bit of worry for her well being but what did it matter she said herself she could take care of herself.

He'd go find a different military group under the Queen's command to get requests from, sure it'd be putting himself in the position to run into Judith again but he doubted she'd ever be a target of any of the groups. Though he could always be wrong on that she was a expert with the bow after all..

Judith threw her shoulders back in a shrug. "We could leave now," she said then smiled at Rhyldrin. She brought her hand to her stomach and gently massaged around her wound. It had started to throb again. "You really don't have to keep me around for much longer if you don't want to." Judith let out a quiet sigh. She really didn't look forward to going back to the camp. Hopefully it wouldn't take too much of her time to explain to Brishen what had really happened. Brishen had known Uldric since they were children, he had grown up with him. He knew how Uldric treated woman without hesitation and he wouldn't think that Judith would do anything unless it was necessary. As for the wound she could explain that she ran into a Dark Elf. She wouldn't have to deal with her brother after explaining herself there was Uldric who had told her that things were not over yet. She would have to be cautious from now on when she was alone. Judith wondered if she would ever be able to sleep peacefully again.

She stood from the couch and looked down at Rhyldrin. "Unless you rather go later, I'm alright with leaving now. Though maybe you want to enjoy my company a bit more?" she teased then smiled at him. "How often is it that you run into an old friend?" she asked though she didn't expect an answer. Judith crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes remained on Rhyldrin. She really was tempted to do something, more than she had ever been with any other man. It was an odd urge an almost overwhelming. Though she held herself back.

He sighed a little closing his eyes, probably a dangerous thing to do with how she had been acting recently but still. "I never said I minded your company now did I?" He questioned her as to why she had said he didn't need to keep her around any longer if he didn't want. "If it was that much of a bother to me do you honestly think I would have carried you all the way? Or would you have rather me left you were you were bleeding and you could crawl back to the camp." He shrugged a little sure the last part was a bit harsh but he had a point.

Sure she could have probably made it back to camp on her own.. but this way he knew for sure she got the attention she needed for the wound. He blamed his parents as to why he gave a damn.. something he couldn't stand was to see someone hurt not when he could do something about it. Though in the case of most light elves that was finishing them off.

"as I said before I don't mind your company, but do as you like it's your choice if we leave now. I'm ready to leave at any time" She had a point it wasn't often you got a chance to run into a childhood friend or at least not in this case. But at the same time her sticking around was going to lead to trouble.. she still seemed to be taunting him as if she wanted him to try and do something.

Doing anything to her was what he was trying to prevent and he figured the sooner she was back to her camp the sooner he could forget her again. Not that he really wanted to but he could already see where his mind was going to start wandering.. and they were things that couldn't happen not between the two of them. He half cursed fate for being against him for all of this. If there wasn't a blood war between the two elf races then maybe he wouldn't be as stubborn and set in his ways. But for now he was sticking to keeping such thoughts out of his mind no matter how she taunted and teased.

"You're mean," she whined, Judith kept her eyes on him. "I know that you would have not allowed such a thing to happen," she brought herself back to the couch and sat down beside him again. "You have always been a good person, Rhyldrin. Maybe it's hard for others to see that or even for yourself to see that sometimes, but I can see it." her lips curled upwards into a smile. "I know that you could be far more mean with me than you are being right now but you're not. Why is that?" she teased, a laugh escaped from her lips and she leaned close to him. "And why are you trying to be distant? Are you afraid to get close to me?" Judith tapped her fingers against the surface of the couch. "Yesterday you were teasing me so much but now... now it seems as if you're scared that something is going to happen. Why is that?" she kept herself close to him, she was interested in what he had to say.

Though after a few seconds she brought herself away from him. She sat back against the couch and allowed her body to sink into it. "You can take me back whenever you get fed up of me, though I don't think that you could possibly get fed up of me when you enjoy my company." she said then smiled at him. "I can't lie, I enjoy your company as well, I don't even remember the last time that I had felt even a little bit happy."

"heh.. your right I wouldn't. Even if I had left you there yesterday I probably wouldn't have gone far." He laughed slightly it was almost funny that most thought of him as a killer, and truth was that's what he had forced himself to become to survive over the years. But Judith still wanted to say he was a good person? "You want to call me a good person when I want nothing more then to kill your own kin, your brother even?" He shook his head a little "You can't really say that you know better, I might be kind to you but if you ask anyone here you'd be the only person I've shown any form of mercy to." He wasn't meaning to be harsh with her but it was the truth, her brother would die some day to his blades, so long as he drew breath he was going to get revenge on the bastard. He had encountered her brother more then a few times in his youth.. he had scores that needed to be settled.

He sighed slightly listening to her questioning him, what was he suppose to tell her. "I was trying to make up for the other day, hell I almost killed you without a second thought let alone what I said to you" He laughed though it was weak sounding "I wouldn't have done shit to you aside from probably killing you on the spot and I would have never known it was you, maybe years down the road i would have put two and two together but aside from that it would have been done." Though it was odd for him to not finish a light elf off whatever force made him think twice on his blade he should thank.. because he would have killed her he had killed female light elves before it wasn't any different then killing the males not to him anyway.

"Well yesterday I never planned to run into you again, what harm was there in playing such a game when I had all intention to avoid seeing you again." He took on a slightly sharper tone when he spoke, like he was agitated but it didn't seem to be at her. "But to answer you yes I'm afraid of getting close to you, i have my reasons why" He knew very well she could push whatever button she wanted and he'd end up losing the game they had been toying with back and forth, and that needed to NOT happen or that's what he had kept in his head.

He was about to tell say something else but she started speaking again, he had moved a hand to rub his forehead a little by now, brushing the hair out of the way. All of this gave him a headache, he was risking his life just having her here let alone her teases that seemed to have no end to them. Her body language alone was giving mixed signals. Though after she finished speaking he looked at her oddly "you make it sound like I'm suppose to keep you here, I think you know better then that.. I sure as hell do" Sure he'd hardly care if she stayed.. but there was the dragon though it could probably find it's own way out of the light elf camp and track Judith or himself down. Plus on top of that her brother was the commander of the unit stationed closest to the dark elf capital.. it was hardly a option to keep her here, let alone if the Queen or her daughters ever found out his neck would be up for the chopping block faster then you could blink.

He sighed again slightly as she said her last sentence, that wasn't making things any easier on him. What was he suppose to say to that it sounded like he half wanted to stay, but why? "heh...why do you torment me so" He smirked weakly before leaning his head back against the sofa and closing his eyes again. 'stop letting your emotions get in the way, take her back and be done with it never cross paths with her again'

Judith chewed on her lower lip nervously. She was silent after he said that he wanted to kill her own kind and her own brother. She didn't really know how to feel about that and she didn't know what to say. "I understand your need for revenge," she said softly. "But don't allow it to blind you, Rhyldrin." her mind felt as if it was all over the place. "If you want nothing more than to kill my kind then why didn't you kill me? Why not kill me now?" she asked, Judith's eyes met his and she didn't look away. "You have some good in you, everyone does but you just refuse to see that." she almost whispered her last sentence, she seemed upset.

"At first you were just another Dark Elf," she said and let out a sigh. "I would have killed you without hesitation to be honest, you brought a blade to my neck and I saw you as a threat. When I had shot my arrow at you I had intended for it to be a fatal shot or at least to knock you down. If you were still alive I would have just shot again or if you were on the ground I would have used my dagger. Either way, when I saw you I wanted you dead." she looked away from him, she seemed a little uncomfortable. "Maybe the Goddesses didn't want you to end my life and didn't want me to end your life. Who knows? I was actually surprised when you decided to take your blade away from my neck. I thought that you were tricking me, I was ready to protect myself if you went back on your word." she brought her eyes back to him and smiled weakly. "It's funny, some how when you told me that you wouldn't harm me if I didn't harm you, I felt as if I could trust you. Like I could trust someone that I had known for quite some time. That's why I dropped my weapon and agreed not to do you any harm."

Judith wondered what she could possibly say to him, he was afraid of getting close to her. She found that sad in a way. "It seems as if you're afraid to get close to anyone." her smile disappeared, she seemed serious now. "You live alone, you don't come home for months... you don't like to speak to your own kind, even if you can't trust them you don't even seem interested in the ones who care about you. Don't you ever feel lonely?"

"I know that I can't stay here, I know that it would cause you more problems than you really need and it would also cause me problems. I know that that can never happen, don't worry about it too much." she paused allowing herself to breath. "I'm not going to try to convince you to let me stay, it just can't happen and that's that." she laughed quietly then smiled at Rhyldrin finally. "I'm sorry that I'm tormenting you, I'll stop if you don't like the teasing."
