I know what you guys are going to say, she's a slut, she's a whore, she kissed a girl, therefore she is a lesbian. She smoked on video, she wants attention. Shut up. Have you ever thought about other artists and how they have done things? I think she is amazing and I hope she continues in music, she just needs a big comeback like Brittney Spears. She made mistakes, she smoke saliva or whatever it was, she kissed a girl and like Katy Perry she must have liked it.

And furthermore, I think people aren't hating on her because she is bad in music, they have seen how she has acted and thus they are just being haters. I am pretty sure the things that she has done that have taken her some steps back are not all that bad. She did not pole-dance, she just dropped it low while holding onto a pole. She didn't wrap her legs around it and show her crotch. She did not lick it and stick her leg up, she held it and dropped it like it's hot.

Regardless of what she has done, her music is great. That is why I am making this thread, because I am thinking that people don't hate on artists because of their music, but because of their personalities and how they carry themselves. I don't care she dressed up like a bird and sang in a pile of peacock leaves she did her best and made a lot of money off her talent. Her music is slutty, she is just being sensual like all TEENAGED/YOUNG ADULT girls and women do. It's natural. So, Miley Cyrus as a person could improve a bit, but her music should stay the same.

So, give me your opinions about Miley Cyrus's MUSIC not about Miley Cyrus. If you don't like her, don't compare her to other people, DON'T say something that has nothing to do with her music, TELL ME SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU LISTEN TO HER OTHER THAN HER VIDEOS.

And another thing, I know people are just bashing her and saying her music sucks for either: just for someone to like their you tube comments, trying to find similarities with other people, just to bash her, to hide that they like her, just because people are saying she is a slut, for smoking saliva or whatever it is and other reasons that are a four letter word: S-H-I-T.

Also, don't think I will bash you because you hate Miley, but if you lash at me, I will lash back. I will put up an argue over her because I do like her and I will contradict you, that is how things go, it's not just because I don't like you because you hate Miley or that I want to just make you feel inferior, but it's because I like to discuss things like this, you know.

And I have a questions for some of you people:
Do you like Miley Cyrus because she is good singer, not because she is Hot/Sexy/Stuff like that?:
Do you not care that she is being a little inappropriate? (Don't bring up the show, loves because the show should not be used to strike her down, the show and her music career stop being linked ages ago.):
If not, why? (And don't say she is a nasty slut, because she is not. She hasn't slept with several guys or have taken nude shots and spread the over the internet.):

I think Miley is a good singer. Talented, nice looks, and possesses the ability to go really far...

She's also growing up fast, is in a world where you're expected to be an adult and handle adult things (no matter the age she really is), like many child stars that self implode due to all the pressures. Her parents tried very hard to instill various lessons... lessons I think she's learned, but in a Hollywood there's a lot of charm to being told 'whatever you want' despite what her parents want her to do.

Is she a slut? I dunno. A lot of people in this world throw their legs open at the slightest provocation, however they aren't in the limelight like Miley. That is what makes her situation so awkward. And many stars worldwide switch partners like we'd switch socks. Marriage alone is an institution many don't partake in because it causes too many issues later on when they're bored with their partner of the moment.

Disney started Miley's career. Due to that fact, most people want her to be innocent for the rest of her life. Um, let me point out this: Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears both were a part of the Disney franchise at one point in their lives. Justin sings about gang violence and sex and probably has his own skeletons. Britney has done much more.

She has done some bad things and hopefully she'll get it worked out of her system before she burns out or self destructs.

Also, for your last comment... I wouldn't listen to any music at all if I refused to listen to an artist due to misdeeds, construed or otherwise. Garth Brooks, my favorite artist since I was three, committed adultery with Trisha Yearwood. I've yet to stop listening to his or her music. And Brooks sings about adultery, abuse, and sex. He sings about death, life, and love. If I stopped listening to music, my life would be dead. I don't judge an artist's music by what he or she has done. I'll judge the music on whether or not it catches my attention. I'd do no less for Miley Cyrus.

I actually found the 'nude' pictures of her tasteful as there was no 'bad skin' being shown. You know... the ones that started this whole mess? And I really do like "Can't be Tamed" that she did in response to all the comments being sent her way.

Oh, and as for pop versus country... I actually prefer her contemporary songs rather than either. "The Climb" and "I Look at You" are the two I'm talking about.

I found that the pictures, the real ones were not her. I still doubt she actually posed for them or even sent them. Even if she did, she had no intention of them getting around the internet at all. But, it's whatever and way into the past.

The Climb is probably one of her best songs, I think. I've never really heard the other one, then again I rarely listen to ALL of my favorite artists. I usually listen to a few, then switch after a few days and go back and forth. xD

I loved "Can't Be Tamed". The song was really written well for the situation she was placed in. I wouldn't mind my child watching her in concert. xD Most stars that are older than her usually dress even worse that she does, so regardless of how parents are, everyone in the music business will be half-dressed at least one time. It always happens.

I still have faith in her. So, we will see how that plays out. xD

I found it hard to reply considering Shen's very intelligent response coupled with the fact I can agree with her 100%.

I get negative reactions from anyone I've ever said I like some Miley Cyrus songs. I hate it how they bash like that. Justin Bieber gets bashed quite a bit but most of his songs aren't...err good enough for me I guess is a way to put it lol Miley though I still like her songs even with the drastic grown up girl ones that came out. Can't be tamed...yes one of my favorites as well. It's so sad that most songs I sing to are written in a girl perspective. Even Hummingbird by Katy Perry. I didn't know there was some phallic imagery in it. xD;;

Her music in general sucks. I don't care if she did or didn't poledance. I don't care if she did or didn't smoke salvia (It's illegal in my state to have it for that purpose, but not in the state three blocks from my house). I don't care what she did because other people, celebrities or not, have done a hell of a lot worse.

I've never liked her music or Beiber's (since I saw someone mentioning him). It's not any good to me. I just don't like it. I either make fun of it or rage kill when it's the only thing on the radio while I'm driving since I don't have a CD player in my car.

Honestly, I know next to nothing about this girl, other than it seems like she has made a career for herself because her father is famous. I don't care what she does with herself, who she kisses, what she smokes.. etc. All that is completely irrelevant.

The only reason I dislike her is because, in my opinion, she is untalented. I do not like her voice, and I do not like her lyrics.

Edit: Just wanted to note that smoking salvia is not illegal. So there's no reason for people to comment on that anyway.

I recommending listenging to The climb, then Can't be Tamed to hear some of her music if you feel like it. They're the most popular ones I think...I don't claim to know a lot. Meh if you don't care it doesn't actually matter then don't it? I personally ignore a lot of it. I think it's over her being a sexually active teen who is doing drugs? At least that's how she's painted sometimes idk how true. Drugs are not that new for teens to be doing though and to my knowledge she doesn't done something like cocaine. Can't be tamed is a tad mature for every crowd though and since she was a Disney girl there's haters around for that reason.
