**I did not create a role play thread yet. I want to gather characters first before we play**

Legend of Twin Moons

Story
A long time ago lived two princes named Edward and Samuel. Samuel was the eldest of the two and the most beloved. He was only older by five minutes, but even so the eldest boy gets the crown. Edward, at first was not jealous of his brother but admired him. His father did treat them equally, however Samuel did get special treatment from time to time. Edward always figured it was because his brother would be King one day.

As time grew, Edward had grown slightly jealous. His brother was gaining too much attention, that Edward always became last within his family. Even his cousin, Marcus gained more attention then Edward. He rarely ever gotten new cloths and the ones he had always had to be fixed or fitted better. When his horse died, his father never replaced him and Edward was always left out of hunts and other family gatherings. He was always refuse to use the other stable horses because they were meant for the soldiers, not him. He felt abadoned and hurt.

His brother Samuel, never noticed the abuse of his brother Edward, because when he was around father treated them equal. When Samuel always question why Edward did not come to the hunts or family gatherings, he was told Edward was very ill and needed his rest. Rarely had ever seen Edward because by this point Edward was locked in his room.

By the time Edward was 16, he was being beaten everyday by his father. His father would say that he was a bastard child, cursed and needed to be destroyed or killed... But his father had no heart to do it. That is because when Edward was 10 years old, an old gypsy witch came into town and told the King that Edward would destroy the kingdom. That his jealous and anger towards his brother will lead him into war, and eventually taking over the kingdom of Gael. However, the gypsy witch warned the King not to kill Edward, for killing him may release a far greater evil.

The King at first did not believe the gypsy witch, however night after night the King had awful dreams of his son Edward killing his beloved first born. He also dreamed that Edward was not his child, even though Samuel and Edward were twins... That Edward was that of the devil spawn. Over time the King alienated the boy and when he hit the age of 16, the King began to abuse him. He wanted him to suffer for the torment he felt in his dreams and for the betrayal that has yet to come.

Of course doing this only fueled the jealousy and hatred in Edward's heart. As the gypsy witch predicted, Edward was seeking revenge. An unknowing force inside him grew more and more powerful that he finally was able to escape using his new found power. Escaping the room he was trapped in, he wondered into the forest were he met a group of outlawed creatures known as the Nomads. The Nomads were demonic creatures that were savage and cruel. When Edward met them, they felt a kinship with the boy and made him their king. His power was of use to them to seek revenge against the king of Gael and his beloved first born, Samuel. Edward pledged that he will do that and more, by making him King, he will set the curse of the Nomads free and that they can reign over the kingdom of man forever.

Ten years latter...

Edward, the king of the Nomads declared war on his brother Samuel, who had become king of Gael after his father's untimely death. Samuel, who did not want to fight tried to convince Edward to be by his side and help him rule. He told him the Nomads could be free and be able to live within the kingdom, but Edward did not believe his brother. Edward felt his brother was lying and that he will betray him the moment he agreed to such a ridiculous idea... Not to mention Edward wanted to rule over the Kingdom of Gael and all of mankind. However, he knew the Kingdom of Gael maybe ruled by man, but had allies far superior to the Nomads. Gael was allied with the Elves of the west, the Dragons of the East, the Fae of the North and the Dwarves of the South... It was defiantly would be a harsh battle but Edward had a trick up of his sleeve... A trick that will make the five kingdoms fall to ashes.

The war of Gael lasted only a month before Edward unleashed his final weapon. This weapon was to summon a creature so devastating, that it can destroy the world they know and who ever can wield such creature will be King of all five kingdoms. This creature was known as "Twin Moons"... It only came out when the moons of the seven stars come together to form a celestial dance of fire. That night Edward summon the creature which only appeared as a shadow and festered death across the five kingdom, leaving only a select few of the races to survive. The creature granted Edward the kingdoms and by doing so, he forced everyone but the Nomads out of each select kingdoms... Force them to live in the swamps and in lands that are barely inhabitable and dangerous.

There a select few decided to join together to fight against Edward and to take over the kingdoms once more, but with their forces a few and Edward's reign over the creature of the Twin Moons, it would be difficult.

As for Samuel, he sadly died fighting a cause he thought he could win, but some of the remaining rulers of other kingdoms survived and created a rebel force under the flag of Gael. Will you fight for Gael and for the kingdoms? Well join use in battle!!

Personality: Kind, Sweet, down to earth, sometimes can be a bitch, can easily fall in love (which can be a major weakness), hates being called weak, has an uncontrollable urge to use her fire power (a bit of a pyromaniac)
Weapon and Power: She carries a long, mythreal sword... Her powers including fire blowing, shape shifting (human to dragon or vice versa... Can partial shift too), Clear vision (can magnify from 10 miles away, clear vision at night and during the day), flight (both forms), has control over the elements (especially fire), hard to be killed but possible/ can live a long time.
Brief History: Was born to the King of the Dragons and helped rule over her father's kingdom. She befriended Samuel and even liked him. When he died, she felt the need to seek revenge against his brother, Edward... Even though she knew why Edward was doing what he was doing. She knew that she most gain control of the creature of the Twin Moons in order to stop the chaos the Nomads have been doing to their world.

Yeah, I wanted to create a good story line and just see what happens.

You can select any images you like. Your characters are yours. I tried to bring a variety of species into play.

-Personality: He is an individual who takes joy in causing any chaos, pain, and destruction. For the most part is insane and not the type of person who would be safe to have around. However, he does have times where he can act with reason like a normal person.
-Weapon/ Power: He carries a few enchanted swords, which cannot kill a victim but can cause higher amounts of pain than a normal blade. The swords are also unusual in that, as well as causing suffering, they also reverse or heal most wounds where the blades have come into contact with, so being healed by the blades also comes with the price of suffering extreme pain. The blades become normal in the hands of other people, except a select few. The rest are normal swords. His saliva causes numbness, usually used for drawing blood from live prey. He also has the ability to form and control ice if he is close to a good amount of water, or he could use the blood from his body to compensate for the lack of water in the area but the latter is riskier. Ivan carries an unusually high amount of power in his blood, and is highly prized amongst those who need or can use blood, but Ivan was cursed to never be able to use such power for himself.

-Brief History: Ivan's father had an extreme love for gambling, and with his love also came a large debt. One of which was a promise from someone who said they would return and take something that Ivan's father held dear. Ivan's father eventually quit gambling and moved to a place where his background would remain a mystery. He settled down and became one of the people in charge of slaying the Nomads who even dared to come close to the village, and further on he had married someone and had a child. The promise came to unfold and the man tried to take Ivan, but Ivan's father made swift work of the man and took Ivan back, only to discover that Ivan had been changed into a vampire. He still cared for Ivan, but soon the villagers turned against him. As one of his last resorts, his father had given Ivan to a friend who was traveling in hopes that his friend could find someone to remove Ivan's curse, but his friend decided to leave Ivan in an area close to where the Nomads were since he felt that it was more trouble than it was worth to look after Ivan himself. Ivan was found and given to a small vampire clan, who quickly discovered that he had a rare ability that they could use. Ivan was forced to hunt and draw blood, which he hated and found appalling, and when he returned they would draw the processed blood from Ivan which allowed them to become stronger in various ways. Soon, they stopped seeing him as one of their own, and they started viewing him as a toy or tool. Ivan would eventually try to run away, but he would always be followed by someone no matter how hard he tried to shake them off. He became paranoid and started killing those around him indiscrimently in fear that one of those people would be someone sent from the vampire clan. It didn't take long before he completely snapped and his values and thoughts became twisted.

That is a good character. Really will help the story out. :) Sorry my characters are not full length, but that story took so much time to write. I will most likely write better history of my one character, Liliana.

When I get a few more people involved, I will start the RP. I probably have two settings up, one with Liliana and the other with Edward.

So, lets hope more people come in to create characters.

I personally think it's easier to rp when you keep a character to bare minimums initially, so that you can develop the character's history along the way and also allow people to learn little bits and pieces about your character.

True. I will start tomorrow then. I don't want that many anyway, I was thinking one more person and then we can start. I usually prefer smaller rps anyway.
