“Thank you, all, for coming. No doubt, you are all great warriors, and I extend to you my gratitude for answering the call in our time of need. And do not mistake: our need is great indeed. I will not mince words. The attack on the palace was a failure. Our troops are demoralized, defeated in their hearts. There have been... desertions.

“And that is why I have summoned you here. We have need of a leader. Ryuko and I are old faces to the soldiers. They have heard our promises for too long now to find them inspiring. If we are to have any hope of meeting Maesha's armies and prevailing, someone must inspire our forces. Someone new. A hero.

“I see that there are many of you, and that is good. It will take the very best to win this war. I expect greatness from you all... however, there must be one, and one alone. One figure to rally around. One savior for us all.”


Welcome to the Create an NPC contest! Just like the title says, you will have the opportunity to design a character to become an official Trisphee NPC. Please read the following guidelines for details on how to submit:

• Your NPC must be either a Rebel or a Loyalist.
• Your NPC must be of a race native to either Kalin or Quesaria (Human, Yutri, Alti'ui, Athiyk, Valyarin, Feryxonis, or Ascent Arco)
• Your entry must comprise a history for the character at least 750 words long, detailing how they came to fight on their chosen side and how they fit into the plot.
• Your entry must also include unique items for your NPC, to a maximum of 5 items. You may submit these either as artwork or in writing, both will be judged equally, but if you choose to submit in writing, be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
• Please send all rebel entries to Dyten, and all Loyalist entries to Maesha Karsalia via PM.
• One entry per person please.
• Please avoid sending in any OCs you do not want to give up. Even though they will not be changed, they will now be a Trisphee character.

Maesha stepped onto the platform, shooing away a peasant worker as she did so. She smiled, gazing upon her audience, relishing in their absolute attention. Her very presence commanded their silence, which was how it should be, in her eyes.

“My people, I come to you today with a gift!” Her voice filled the area, commanding by nature. “I know Ryuko may tell you that I hold no regard for any of you, he may spread his lies that you are all but mere slaves, but this is just slander from an old fool. So, today, as a show of good will, I offer a place in my court for one among you who is deemed worthy. I want to appoint one of my people as a General, and member of the Royal Court, to show my gratitude for all your hard work.” She scoffed a bit in her own mind at this. As if they deserved a reward outside of their right to live in HER kingdom… “So, any of you that would like this opportunity, step forward, and we shall hold a contest to see who truly deserves a place among royalty. Any who enter, and do not win, do not take it as shameful –No, be proud that you had the courage to step up and try to serve your Queen, and no she will always acknowledge services rendered. Ryuko offers you a hole in the mud; I offer you a palace home. Remember that next time he tries to tell you I hold no thought for my own people, whom I have always served well!” Maesha smiled again, eyes scanning the crowd, watching the peasantry celebrate what they deemed to be a glorious day. When all was said and done, she would be glad to have a new figurehead to push into the line of fire. She would spare none of her current court, if she could instead spare one of the commoners.

“There will be a scribe on hand at all times to take down the names of those who have entered. Write your name but once, and only once. I will have them put up the updated list for you daily, in the middle of the camp, so you may know who amongst you has been of such service to the kingdom.” With this, she stepped down off the podium, and cut a line through the throng of people, all of whom smiled at her and cheered for her. She lived for such adoration, for moments where she was nothing but loved. She would go back to her own camp feeling refreshed, ready for the fools to start pouring in, trying to serve their Queen.

"I will leave one of my people here to take all the names down of those who step up to this calling. I cannot thank you all enough for your efforts, for staying with us, and for holding strong. At times, it may seem hard, it may seem tempting to give in to the tyrant they call Queen, it may seem like all hope is lost..." Dyten looks sternly into the crowd.

"But, I tell you this - we ARE hope. Every face I see in this crowd fills me with hope, courage, and joy. We are many races, we are many persons, but we are one people. I believe in you all, and now I ask that you believe in yourselves. Please, any that would try and fill this grand duty, step forward, and have your name recorded, so that all may know of your bravery. Thank you." Dyten stepped away, back to his tent.

• The winner of the contest will be selected by the staff, based on the submitted NPC who is both the most creative and best fits into the Trisphee universe.
• The winner will have their NPC become an official Trisphee NPC and will receive a free copy of their items, once they are released.
• Submissions will be judged on both backstory and items, as a whole, so be sure to try your best with both aspects of the contest.
• Your NPC will be in no way controlled by you. We apologize for any misunderstandings. It will, however, be kept in character. If anything may be changed, you will be informed and such first. Thank you for your understanding~

Just want to say I had an extremely hard time typing it all out on my iPod touch. Sorry if things might be out of place, but I did the best I could with the resources I had.
Besides my character is awesome, who wouldn't like a metrosexual wardrobe sorcerer with an odd taste in fashion!?
