Dimitri glanced over at the blonde, eyeing him for a moment thoughtfully and plucked the now-empty daiquiri from his hand, holding it up to gesture it at the bartender. Another one, was the obvious meaning. The bartender nodded, making another brightly-colored fruity drink, and slid it over to Dimitri, who paid for it with a twenty, waving off the guy to keep the change. He pushed the drink towards the boy and then turned back to his own liquor, leaning back on the bar with the kind of casual confident air of one that knows he's hot shit but doesn't brag on it.

The other man raised his eyebrow again in obvious disbelief; a look of 'and the catch is..?' resting over his rather delicate features. Now that was interesting. He didn't scoff at the offer though- never one to look a gifthorse in the mouth. At least, not until it started talking back. Damned talking horses..

With a smirk he took his sweet time enjoying the free drink, letting it melt slowly and making absolutely sure he got every last drop of flavor from the cup. Even going far enough to clean every last speck of sugar from the rim. Why was drink sugar always so much better, even if you bought the same damn stuff at the store? Magic...

He couldn't help sliding eyes up to look at the back of the man's head in the mirror behind the bar though. Once he'd had about as much fun as he could out of the glass, he set it down and drew a very even and deep breath; turning around to face out toward the rest of the club. He shrugged, leaning back to prop an elbow on the bar top, eyes closing as he plastered a look of casual indifference on his face.

"Kodi is thank for the drink- not expecting; but it was much more delicious." And signed his social death certificate for the night.

Dimitri blinked, not quite sure where the voice came from until he noticed the blonde was leaning closer and he stared at him for a moment til a grin split his face. That. Was. Adorable. Just simply adorable. He couldn't help but smile. He leaned in closer to the male himself, though he didn't put on a look of casual nonchalance, he looked right at the blonde with something between a smirk and a smile. "Dimitri is glad Kodi enjoyed; it feel good to bring pleasure to such gorgeous male," he replied, mimicking Kodi's speech pattern. Or was he mimicking? Mocking? Or speaking the same? He had a thick accent himself, not quite as thick as the blonde's but a rolling Russian accent where every vowel seems to be swallowed before being rolled out over the tongue. He brought up his drink, taking a sip and grinned at the blonde, his eyes teasing. Maybe. Perhaps.

Kodi felt suddenly and completely confused; shocked? yes. Shocked would do nicely. He wasn't sure if the other male was having troubles like him; as the accent he heard practically coating every syllable made him think; but the very exact wording..He wasn't quite used to speaking english out loud, and often times spoke incorrectly when he didn't have proper time to write it out on paper first..and he actually spent a moment working through that wonder of a sentence. Maybe he- like so many other people..thought he was cute with his...broken..unintelligible english. On the other hand..

"Charming ass." He punched Dimitri in the shoulder, not hardly more than enough to push him rather than cause contact damage, and turned back to face the room again, cheeks going a dark sort of red. Embarrassed? Nay! He was...drunk? YES! DRUNK! And something else, but he had no idea what; a bowl full of colors was surely not the best candy dish in the world to be picking randomly from.

Dimitri pretended to wince, rubbing his upper arm theatrically then laughed, slinging an unsolicited arm around Kodi. "Aw do not be like that," he grinned, actually chucking the youth under the chin. "Your accent, it reminds me of home, is all. I miss it," he let go with a shrug and turned back to his drink. "Besides, it is adorable. Very adorable," he smirked and downed the last of his bourbon. "Now - how long have you been in America?" he asked conversationally, leaning an elbow on the bar. An actual conversation with someone, showing interest?! Well, why not. Kodi was very attractive, very much his type and he was bored. He'd continue until he again became bored. Besides, he rather liked this man when he blushed. It too was adorable.

Kodi grinned, tongue pinching between his lips as he gave Dimitri a light shove, wrinkling his nose in mock disgust. "We are friends now?" He asked in an incredulous tone- as though basically dry humping on a dancefloor was nothing more than glancing across a room at each other. He did sit up straighter at the question though- a conversation was as good a time as any to practice the language, wasn't it? That was how they tried teaching you in classes at any rate. He held his hands out, counting along on one set of fingers and then the other, working his mouth silently at the ceiling as he rolled words around in his brain; finally finding the right ones.

"Six weeks. Kodi has been america for six weeks yesterday." He gave another noncommittal shrug, tilting his head of blond hair to the side with a casual if laid back sort of look. "Dimitri?"

Dimitri let himself be shoved, stumbling away with a laugh. "Friends?" He snickered, running a hand through his hair, the other on his hip and smirked at Kodi. "Maybe. We will see."

Moving back to the stool he raised a finger for another drink, whiskey this time, and raised an eyebrow. "Six weeks here, that is long. But I have been longer," he accepted his drink, throwing the bartender another twenty without even looking and sipped at it slowly. "Two years for me. A long time." He grinned. "I like it here very much though, much easier to make a good living. Sometimes." He seemed to just notice the drink in his hand and tilted his head to it.

"Would you like another drink?" He smirked. "Another fruity drink with an umbrella?"

"Brannvin- Vodka." Kodi replied in a low, irritated tone, squinting his eyes at Dimitri for a moment. "I can have many strong drinks- but they taste..." He shook his head a moment, gesturing with the cup with a little shake. "Like hot chemicals. This is better." He shrugged and put the glass down, refusing to repeat his initial reply. He'd pretty much drink anything, honestly. But sweet always made him happy. Vodka, Lager, Rum, Taquilla...no, No taquilla. But if it were well hidden...yeah.

He leaned his head back, staring at the ceiling. Was it hotter now? ...Oh..he'd been drinking..and ..took something. His head was a little uneasy..maybe he hadn't realized it because they were sitting. Lucky him- sitting around never really made you feel drunk until you stopped...
