A sudden ca motion woke echo up from the clang of the blade, looked all brown from what looks like to be dried blood, a hard worker she thought and who walks in out of all people, Demo. She grumbles as she wakes up from the sleep of relief, not having to do it with one eye open. Demo is right, it isn't getting any closer, but it's baby step to something different.

It's better than nothing.

Demo proceeds to sit down and try to clean his wounds so he can heal them and get to work on those that need his abilities. "Its quite tiring this job. But I am making a difference that no other can." Demo looks around. "Why the hell are all these injured people lying here in pain!? Where are those medics?" He said this infuriated as his wounds burned from the cleaning.

As Echo wakes up she feels a shock of pain in her abdomen, she holds onto it and it's all bandaged up, a spot of red dots on the bandage, where a loyalist sliced her during the battle. Oh yea, they took care of her.

As she watches Demo cleaning up his wounds without any help, seems so irritated by the fact that no one is around to take care of him, but looking at the big picture there are so many injured and so little medics to help him, there's only so much they can do.

With so many injured warriors, are we just wasting time and our health?

Dem wanders back into the tent, noticing unhelped injured rebels lying on beds and an infuriated Demo trying to clean his own wounds. She sat her scythe down by the entrance and looked around. "Are your medics injured, too?"

[Demo]

Demo winces as hes finishes cleaning his wounds. "I don't know where they are but I need more if I am going to keep up." Demo said that as his hands were basked in a golden glow. The magic healing his wounds as he passed over them.

Echo sees a glow coming from Demo, she looks so interested in it and his cuts and serious injuries are slowly disappearing. "What is that?" She whispers to herself as she carefully moves into a crawling position on the foot of the bed.

She's not breaking the rules since she's still on the bed, trying not to trigger the pain on her torso, arms and legs. She looks more like a partial mummy than a rebel soldier.

It's so depressing being here, but it's better than out on the field. At least we have soldiers that can help us, both medical and endurance to bring down the way of government.

Demo looks the see the injured woman who has spoken up just as he finished healing himself. Demo gets up from where he is sitting and over to the cot that the woman is and sits down on thw ground to be on the same level as her. "I am one of the Ascent. My element is Light. My kind are very rare in my people. We have the power to heal as well as light elemental magic." He said smiling. "May I have a look?" His eyes and the alight nod of his head led to her bandaged wounds.

A surprise came over here as he noticed her presence, she slightly blushed as he approached her. She became interested in him for some reason but could never explain it verbally. "May I have a look?" he said. She blushed even more redder. It wasn't one spot, she removed the blanket exposing the bandaged body, wearing nothing but a thin cloth strips wrapping the open wounds. "I got shot with an arrow as well as sliced up." She said shyly.

Wouldn't have thought that she would be embarrassed and blush over this, she's been naked around other guys before, but this was different. "I'm a Valyarin, even though most of my bloodline is Alti'ui and Athiyk."

Demo examined the battered body of the woman. "You really are lucky you got here in time." Demo got up and pulled around a screen to block the view of other patients. "I do believe you have presented a challenge." He said examining the gruesome wounds as he carefully removed the soiled bandages. "Now I need you to hold still through this process please." He said rubbing his hands which began to glow. He manuvered his hands over every wound. Most taking longer than usual due to their severity. After a couple hours of straight work he sat in a tired position as he wiped his forehead. His breath was heavy with then strenuous task he had preformed. "Well you will have some slight scarring from the larger wounds but everything seems to have healed completely. Though i would advise a good nights sleep." He said smiling as he got up Nd grabbed the pile of bloody bandages.

She felt a little bit embarrassed when he stripped her of the only thing that covers her feminine parts as well as her body.

Echo stayed still as possible as Demo heals her, some areas felt relaxing and some got her to jump a little, but it's in a matter of healing, After hours of healing her he felt tired.

"You know you don't have to do this, I can heal naturally myself. I've been strong enough that I walked here by myself without assistance."

She explained "Do you need a rest from your process?" He didn't listen, Demo was determined to help her the best that he could do; parts of her body started to glow gold and the severe afflictions on her started to close up, the pain started to lessen from before.

After the healing was done to the best as he powers can "Well you will have some slight scarring from the larger wounds, but everything seems to have healed completely. Though I would advise a good nights sleep."

"thanks Demo" Echo shows appreciation to Demo as he takes the bloody bandages from the curtained space I occupy.

She feels well intent but also a little bit uneasy since he's only healing me, to her she felt like it was like a paper cut compared to what most of the patients in the tent are going through.

"Your welcome Echo. Now here are a fresh pair of undergarments and a new blanket because one we don't need to distract the men in here and two you need comfort and warm to recover." He said laying the bundle next to her. "Now I need to go tend to as many patients as I can before I pass out." He smiled and made his way to the side of the hospital tent where the more severe cases were.

Echo took the under garment that Demo gave her and the blanket. It's pointless to put on new underwear on a mattress with nothing to cover up. She glaces over and sees a cup of water by her on a flimsy table. She grabs the water and hands it to Demo "You need this."

Demo left the area to tend to other patients. Shes gets up from the bed to put on new clean panties, a little weird feeling knowing that the injured men probably never seen a silhouette of a naked woman before.

So she puts on the underwear and tank top on fast, opened the curtain to observe the action around her; then slowly (to prevent new larger cuts on her) onto the bed grabbed the warm fresh blanket and flailed it in the air for width and it caressed on her bare legs and landed on there and the mattress peacefully.

Nothing seems special going on so as the time goes by she felt tired, so she drifts off into sleep dreaming about the freedom that once was never there.
