I go to Polk State College. I'm on the campus that shares with the University of Southern Florida Polytechnic campus. They recently replaced almost all the oak trees with friggin' PALM TREES!!! There's pretty much zero shade in the courtyards now.

@Yoko: Think Jeff Foxworthy, white trailer trash, confederate flags, dirty old pickup trucks, and chew tobacco.

@Moon: I'm doing fairly well, all things considered. After all, I still have a roof over my head, clean water to drink, AC, and a stable internet connection.

@Poggio: They were dug up from the roots and removed. The only ones left are the ones scattered about the parking lot, and those are rather few and far between.

Nah, nothing necessarily bad happened, but I'm getting tired of being on vacation. It's so mundane. I do the same things every day. At least when I'm going to classes a couple days a week I'm getting out of the house some.
