Hello.
Okay. I'm having a bit of trouble with adding a profile picture to my profile. At first the problem was that the picture was too big. But then I resized it, then i tried uploading it again. But it just gave me a fail to upload message. :p
Is this normal? or does the file have to be in a certain type?
like .jpg or something like that?

Also. is it possible to preview monthlies? Old monthlies I mean.
I want to see how the Ursei looks on my avatar before I think about saving up for one.

Lastly, how many posts can be in the set up for a Quest thread? Is there a limit? Like 8 posts?

I'm just going to say this now: Don't even try screwing with the profile picture. It's not supported and the profile page is sort of half-implemented at the moment. Any feature you see there now that will show anything but your Trisphee avatar there is not going to stick around; the new profile code (when it's done) will be completely unrelated to what's there now. We also don't support uploads so I'm surprised the option is even there.

As for previewing old monthlies, someone's got a thread hanging around somewhere (in Trisphee Talk I think?).

And for your last question, I believe you're allowed to reserve the entire front page but I really don't know and I'm not the mod for that section.

The profile pic I uploaded was a PNG, but I can't imagine the type matters as long as it's within the pixel/size constraints. I think you may also be able to put it on another site and choose to link to it instead of uploading.

Old monthlies can be viewed in Demonskid's Thread and dragoness129's Thread. Demonskid's has old event items as well.

As for the max number of posts you can reserve for a quest...I don't know as the rules don't mention anything on that. Don't do one post like I did though >.>; I just didn't know any better at the time.

Edit: Listen to Coda about the profile picture. I have mine uploaded, somehow, but I don't see it anywhere but the "choose a profile pic" page.

You can reserve as many posts as you need to for your quest thread. There's no limit, but obviously reserving more than the first page is unnecessary.
