Yes, I think that is a part of it. Or maybe the underlying reason for both facts is the same; whatever makes me join so many sites is also what makes me come and go impulsively.

Yeah, I think it is an impulsiveness thing...

I'm only faithful to one avi site. I used to be so faithful to gaia, but when they banned me 6 times for no reason at all...I just simply quit.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I have no reason to choose only one, and even if I did, I would never know which one to choose. There are pros and cons to all of them, and rather than try and mathematically weigh the benefits and costs, I prefer to just enjoy myself traveling between them.

I've lost count. I'm nto sure whether all of them are still active, but in the past the number has exceeded twenty. However, I am not always on all of them... which I guess is understood at this point.

Exactly. Though I have been on quite a few which have closed permanently. Spirits of Arca, Rhellos, MyWorldNess, Magivolve, VectorFace... just to name a few.

Yes, I mean it is not the intention when opening them, they just die for one reason or another. The owner can no longer pay for the server; the user base leaves; too much drama/conflict... etc.

Hmm... I actually like Gaia, and despite its size I still like ot think that it is not a huge greedy corporation. Of course... there are always errors, sometimes big ones. Inevitable really, when that many people are involved.
