Solomon's face became a tad displeased as he asked about the day, "It is." He quickly replaced his expression with a smile before Holden could notice. "But you still need to rest. Please, sleep. I don't want you overexerting yourself."

[Bovice]

"No..." Holden trailed off as a huge amount of sadness overcame him. "I can't ruin your birthday Solomon, I had everything planned out." His voice became deeply ingrained in sadness. "Please let me do this for you. You have done so much for me." He looked away. "I even got you a present." He looked back at Solomon hoping that he would say yes.

Solomon frowned, "Holden, I've had over 550 birthdays...maybe about 300 of them were ruined...all by people I care about very deeply." He gently took Holden's chin and forced him to look at him, "We will spend the day together, but it's still early; only 4am. Please rest. I will wake you up later in the afternoon and then we can do whatever you wish. Alright?"

[Bovice]

"Solomon I..." Holden trailed off as he closed his eyes. He opened them after a moment, "Ok Solomon, but do me one favor. And don't get mad at me." He reached into his pocket and handed him a storage key. "It's in Connecticut, go there and your gift is in there." He smiled slightly. "Just promise me you wont be mad when you see it." His eyes scanned Solomon's face.

He looked at the key, "We will go together when you have rested. I will not be leaving your side." He put the key in his pants pocket, adjusting so he was laying next to Holden; facing him of course. "We're already doing this wedding business ass backwards..I will not celebrate my birthday that way either. You will give me the gift yourself; or at least be present."

[Bovice]

Holden smiled as he looked at Solomon, "You know you love the way I took charge." He gently caressed Solomon's cheek. He scooted so his head was in Solomon's chest. He weakly draped his arm over Solomon, "So you are gonna lay with me all day?" He looked up at Solomon. His golden eyes were flickering with love as he rubbed his head into Solomon's chest. "I love you Solomon..." He trailed off as he fell to sleep.

"Of course I will." He smiled a bit, kissing Holden's forehead lightly as the boy fell asleep. After awhile, he closed his own eyes. Couldn't hurt to sleep for awhile right?

After quite some time, Solomon awoke. He carefully moved his arm to glance at his watch; it was only 8am. Holden would need more sleep. He smiled a bit, gently moving some hair from Holden's face, laying there contently while he waited for more time to pass.

Holden smiled, "You may try to move cautiously, but you aren't very good at it." He sighed contently. He moved his arm which felt much better now, he slipped it under Solomon's shirt. He pulled himself closer to Solomon, "Your so cute when you sleep." He chuckled slightly as he tried to go back to sleep.

Solomon chuckled slightly, "I didn't mean to wake you. Do you want to rest more or are you feeling alright?"

[Bovice]

Holden cracked his eye open and looked at his watch, which was still broken. "Why must I always break my watches?" He sighed. "It's only been a few hours, I can tell by where the sun is in the sky." He smiled as he closed his eye. "I feel fine darling, but if you don't mind I would like to stay in your arms a little longer. I have missed them around me." He gently snuggled into Solomon's chest.

Solomon draped his arm over Holden then pulled him close, "Of course. If you fall asleep again, I will wake you up at 2pm...if that's an acceptable time."

[Bovice]

"You always know what is best Solomon, even when I do not." Holden smiled as he tightly grabbed Solomon's shirt. After a few minutes of just feeling Solomon's chest heave up and down he fell back to sleep.

Solomon smiled, "I try at least..." He lay perfectly still; save for his breathing of course, while Holden slept. He would not disturb him this time.

After what he assumed was about 1 or 2 o'clock pm, he finally moved. He lifted his hand from Holden's waist, gently moving some hair from Holden's face, "Holden..."

[Bovice]

"Yes my darling Solomon?" Holden opened his eyes. His golden eyes were shining brightly, "Is it time to make this your best birthday?" He smiled as he placed a gentle kiss on Solomon's neck. He looked at his shirt and sighed slightly, his clothes were always getting covered in blood. "Before we go out I would like to change, you can go and change to if you want." He smiled brightly. "And remind me to talk to Hayden about getting your ear back." He pushed himself away from Solomon as he sat up.

Solomon rolled his eyes as he sat up, "She won't be giving it back anytime soon I'm guessing. Oh well..I can always grow a new one." He touched the scar tissue where his ear was supposed to be, "I'm surprised no one at the show noticed." He shrugged, "You go get cleaned up, I will make you something to eat. Anything in particular? Just something small, since I know you have dinner plans made."

[Bovice]

"Well your beautiful hair covers it." Holden smiled as he moved his legs to the floor. He slowly stood up, "What ever you want to make Solomon. Yes I do and you will love it." He turned and looked at Solomon. He gave Solomon a wink and went to his dresser. He pulled out a pair of boxers and a pair of light blue jeans. He smiled as he went to his closet, he pulled out a black blazer, a light gray button shirt. He smiled as he bent down to grab a shoe box that held a pair of navy blue shoes. He gently laid them out on the bed, he smiled at Solomon. He looked down at his hands and gasped as he saw his rings covered in blood. "Would you be upset if I didn't wear my ring for a few hours? I need it to soak in ring cleaner." Holden frowned.
