Once upon a time (OOC and other uses) | #1
I figured that since any RP could use one, there might as well be one.
This is the OOC and recruitment area for Poggio's Once Upon a Time.... All applications should go to Poggio via PM. Application PHP Code:
We have some pretty good and moderately powerful characters at work already in the RP (Beast, Red Riding Hood, Capt. Hook, and Alice). If you want ideas of character basis, I'm making a list below: -The Big Bad Wolf -Alladin (or any other character from One Thousand and One Nights) -Prince Charming -Pinocchio -Baloo (The Jungle Book) -Hansel and/or Gretal -The Witch of the Black Forest -Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) -The Nome King (or other characters from The Wizard of Oz) -Baba Yaga the Sorceress Give your opinions as well, random users (XD). I personally want this RP to fly.

I'm definately interested in playing, though don't have much of an idea of character yet, except that I'd like something female and lost woods themed, so either foresty or partial mutate. Thinking something Naria-esqu like a faun (Mr. Tumnas) or is that not fairy tale enough? I'm not familiar enough with Baba Yaga to think of anything related to her.

That actually sounds like a good idea, considering that Baba Yaga is Slavic folklore. The snow queen in Narnia can hybrid with the Snow Queen from Through the Looking Glass in this way as well (were you to make a faun).

I'm familiar with Baba Yaga in the basic sense; as the witch who lives in a hut on chicken legs, but not with her particular stories.
Haven't read Through the Looking Glass. When I think of "Snow Queen" I think of the story with the two children and the mirror. Is she the one?
