Solomon sighed deeply as he sensed Holden approaching. He looked away, getting ready to stand, but Alicia forced him back down, "Dammit Alicia! Why do you always go meddling in my life?" He growled a bit as she left; he could sense her latch onto his mind, "I'm warning you Alicia..next time you cry 'wolf', I won't show up." He cleared his throat a bit as he quickly lit a cigarette, glancing at Holden, "So..research?" He took a long drag, exhaling the smoke away from Holden's face.

"Um ya." Holden quickly took a drink of Alicia's water. "I'm technically a Marine Biologist." He sighed a little. "I don't know why my bosses sent me to Ireland. They don't have many marine animals." He smiled a little. He looked at Solomon's face but looked away. "Me and Melody just got back from Australia. They have beautiful fish." He smiled again. "And Melody is a big help." He looked at Solomon. "So what have you been up to?" Holden bent down to move his backpack out of people's way.

Alicia smiled and crossed her legs as she watched Solomon and Holden. "Coffee black three sugars." She looked at the waitress.

He nodded a bit, flagging down a waitress and ordering a cup of coffee, "Black. I mean it." The waitress scurried off as he looked back to Holden with a nod, "I see, so I take it Melody lives with you now?" He shot a glare at Alicia, "You are evil." He glanced back to Holden, "Really? Ah, well I suppose you probably don't watch much tv. I've gotten a few of the other horses on the track and some in the showroom. Zera had to be...put down...after she broke her leg during a race.." He sighed a bit, running his hand through his hair as he took another drag. Before he could continue, his coffee arrived. He thanked the waitress, then took a sip, "I've been showing Kali and Damien and they've..well basically torn up the arenas with their prowess. She does miss you...she won't stop bothering me about you." He chuckled a bit, running his hand through his hair, "Haven't done much anything else..been around England showing the two."

"Ya, Mystic kind of shoved her off on me." Holden chuckled. "But I don't mind. And Alicia has been a pain in the ass." He glared at Alicia. "No I don't watch much TV, I do a lot of reading." He sighed taking a drink of water. He quickly and gently put his hand on Solomon's, he was careful of the cigarette. "I'm sorry to hear that Solomon. She was a great horse." He smiled slightly as he removed his hand. "I'm glad they are doing good Solomon. Maybe before my plane leaves I can visit Kali. If it's ok with you." He ran his hand through his hair. "I just hope Melody doesn't burn down the hotel." Holden chuckled slightly as he took another drink of water.

"You know you love it Solomon~" Alicia said in a singsong tone.

"You're right...I love your persistence..." He smiled a bit as he felt Holden's hand on his, "It's no problem at all Holden...and I'm sure she'll behave." He knew of Melody's..antics. Mystic had tried to pass her off onto him before. "Well..why don't we go now? I mean...you're already out..and we're only a few minutes away."

"She better, I don't wanna pay for a window again." Holden shivered slightly. "Sure." He smiled but quickly rolled his eyes as he felt his phone vibrate. "Just a second." He pulled out his phone. "Yes Captain?" He grabbed his backpack. "I know, I know. I said I know." He sighed. "My plane leaves in an hour, it's only a twenty minute flight, then we can go out. Just settle down, before you give yourself another heart attack." He pinched his nose. "Go-..good bye Captain." He hung up the phone. "Damn guy doesn't know how to relax." He sighed. "Ready to go?" Holden stood up with a smile.

Alicia smiled and shook her head, "Thank you Solomon."

Solomon chuckled slightly, "Very interesting.." He stood with Holden, taking another drink of the coffee to finish it off, "Of course." He left the tip and payment on the table and led Holden to the parking lot and to his car. He held open the passenger door for Holden, opening his mouth to say something but quickly closed it. "I swear Alicia if your manipulating my mind at all I will kill you." He knew he should be furious at Holden for all the things he had done. Yet, rather than fighting himself to not strangle the boy he was fighting not to swat Holden's ass. After all, he almost got Hayden killed because he had to have Melody around. He clenched the door handle as he waited for Holden to get in.

Holden smiled as he walked alongside Solomon, he took a deep breath. "It always amazes me at how much he can yell at me." He chuckled. He was suddenly fighting the urge to kiss Solomon. He smiled as he got in the car, "Thank you Solomon." He put his backpack on his lap. He quickly unzipped it and went searching through it, "I guess I forgot it, damn." He sighed a little.

"I'm not doing anything Solomon." Alicia smiled. She put a few dollars on the table, she sighed as she stood up. She walked to where she couldn't be seen. She disappeared, and landed a few feet away from Melody. "Well I am good." Alicia smirked.

Melody glanced up from her book as she heard Alicia, "Pardon?"

Solomon bit his lip as he shut the door for Holden. He walked around the back, shoving his hands in his pockets for a moment before climbing into the driver's seat. He quickly started the car and drove off at excessive speeds towards the manor.

"I got Solomon and Holden talking nicely." Alicia sat down across from Melody. She crossed her legs, "Are you gonna go out on the boat with Holden?" She rubbed her temples as she felt Holden speeding through London.

Holden bit his lip as he tried to think of something to say to Solomon.

She shrugged, "I don't know. Holden says I help him a lot, but I have a feeling he's just saying that to make me feel better." She put her bookmark in the book, closed it and set it down on the table. "Are you sure they're talking nicely? Solomon is a master at sarcasm..."

Solomon pulled the Vette into the garage, closing the door with a push of the button and climbed out, "I'm sure she'll be thrilled to see you..." He shut the door, chewing on the inside of his cheek as he waited for Holden.

"Holden is telling the truth." Alicia smiled. "I'm sure, but Solomon if having a battle in his brain." She shrugged. "I know Holden is happy doing all of this, but I know he could be happier." She sighed.

"She will, just make sure she doesn't trample me." Holden chuckled as he got out of the car. He quickly threw his backpack onto his back and shoved his hands into his pockets. Not really sure what to do with them. "I-..if you want to come out with me on my little expedition today you can." He smiled a little.

"Don't worry, she won't. She's settled down quite a bit." He walked slightly ahead of Holden, keeping his eyes forward, "Well..we do have a show in Dublin later this week...we'll see how things work out." He really didn't want to go..being cramped up with Holden on a boat would be far too awkward. He led Holden to the pastures, giving a loud whistle as they neared the fence.

Moments later, the copper colored Appaloosa came bounding around from the shelter. She let out a loud nicker as she neared the fence, nearly running into it. She paced back and forth impatiently, stomping her hoof a few times as she snorted. "Oh yeah..she's thrilled."

She shook her head a bit, "You are devious Alicia. Why did you even bother with those two anyway? You know Solomon's just going through with this to keep you off his back. After today, he probably won't speak to Holden again."

[Bovice]

"Ok, we will be there for the rest of the week, then it's back home for a few days. Then I think we are going back to Peru." Holden smiled watching Solomon walk. He chuckled when he saw Kali stomp her hoof, "Yes she id." He smiled as he walked closer to the fence. "Hi Kali." He held out his hand. "Have you been good for Solomon? Haven't been causing any stampedes, have you?" He chuckled as he started to pet her head.

"I know I am. They still love each other Melody. Even though Holden had that little fling when you two were in Australia." Alicia crossed her arms. "If Solomon doesn't talk to Holden after today I will stop trying to get them back together." She sighed. "Speaking of flings, why haven't you had any?" She smiled slightly.

"Because I'm not fickle like that Alicia...I could personally care less about getting into a relationship and the likes." She sat back int he couch, crossing one leg over the other. What about you? Huh?"

"You travel a lot..don't you..?" He watched Holden and Kali for a moment, before noticing a shadowy figure in the corner of his eye. He quickly walked over to the young quarter horse, "Still depressed boy?" He gently pet Rilov's neck, "I know...I miss her as well."

"Well I have had a few dates, remember Aaron?" Alicia smiled. "Since Holden's work keeps you guy's out of the country a lot, you don't meet my dates." She chuckled.

"Ya... But it keeps me busy since I don't have..." Holden trailed off. He quickly looked at Solomon, "You." He thought to himself. He looked back at Kali, "Your a good girl aren't you?" He smiled as he pet her head. He glanced at his watch, "Damn, Can you take me to the airport? My plane leaves in twenty minutes." He frowned slightly. Holden wanted to spend more time with Kali, and more importantly Solomon.
