Sounds like an interesting variation Funkduder, I kind of want to save this and try it one day, though it sounds like it would be a LOT of fun with 6 people rather than the 2 it would likely be here D:

Chutes/Snakes and ladders... I was always so unlucky on that game. Either that or so lucky the game was over in 10 minutes >>

We're all mad here.
I once tried to play it by myself just to see how many rolls it would take me to get to the top. I think I took around 90 at one point, and most of that was because I kept landing on the snake that took you from square 29 to square 2, and missed pretty much all the ladders.

I love my Monopoly games! I am addicted to winning at it every time I play with the family. The other games I like are bingo and Rummy. Just don't play those two much with the monopoly addiction I have.

I remember I tried to get my family to play Monopoly once a week or so. It didn't always work but I did enjoy playing it. We also had something called.. Star Quest, I think, that was in a way similar to Monopoly but in space. I really enjoyed that one too. Ahhhh memories ^^

My stepfamily is big on Trivial Pursuit and we play that quite often with friends. We all have categories that we're good at. When I play with them we have the regular game and the 90's version. I have both the Star Wars and Disney versions. The Disney one is surprisingly difficult, even the kids questions. Seriously, "What is the name of the smallest mushroom in Fantasia?" Nobody talks in that movie!

That makes me want to find it just because xD

@Quiet, Trivial Pursuit is crazy. I'm good at remembering little odd facts and the like but the questions are always REALLY obscure, I'm sure I remember something like "How many buttons were on this guy's shirt in..."

lol

Heh. The weirdest question we had was someting to do with the name of a tractor magazine.

I'm usually okay at the literature and oddball stuff, my sister is the entertainment queen, my brother does sports, and my dad is the history buff. Having a degree of some kind does tend to help because of the random knowledge one gains, as well as watching a lot of TV :D.

I love a lot of different board games.

Chinese checkers is one of my favorites.

I also love the Game of Life and own the Extreme version, Monopoly and I own the Electronic edition, and many others.
I even have a Pokemon board game that came out when the first season was released. It is so cute and fun to play still.
I own Sorry, though I have never really played it much. I own Aggravation, a fun older game I got at a Good Will store. I have a Disney version of Trivial Pursuit. I have Adventures in Neopia, a Neopets board game. I have Candyland for my girls.

There are many games I would still love to play.

Candyland is always popular it seems, even though it's among the most basic games in the universe. I used to love playing it and it drove my older stepsister nuts.

I found out about two board games that I really want. The Game Oh No... Zombies, and the Hobbit Board Game, both available on the ThinkGeek website.

Those both sound like lots of fun. Apples to Apples is a fun game too.
I just need to save up more money for more board games.

I've played Blockus a few times. My brother is a board game nut and has almost everything under the sun, except the stuff like Monopoly, Sorry, Parcheezie, etc. Those generally come off as too simple around our place. Much more fun when you have tiles to flip and rolling rock markers to move around. Heh. Labyrinth we have and I enjoyed it even though I've only played it once.
Twister was fun but insulting when your obese. Now a days I play kinky Twister which is the same rules apply but with no clothes BD

Everyone takes a shower recently beforehand :D
