And aaah I'm watching a Japanese drama (er, Absolute Boyfriend Shhhh XD) and I'm so excited. I CAN UNDERSTAND SOME THINGS. And I was so super excited when I understood the observational pattern "adj-sou desu"(not the hearsay one)

Loved the drama, it was cute. I watched Rebound, too, and that's cute, it's still ongoing! It has two of the same actors as Absolute Boyfriend. and then I'm watching Hana Yori Dango no. That's cute. Frustrating sometimes but cute.

So, I pick up mannerisms and speech patterns really quickly, even if I'm just observing. I think I should stop watching dramas for a bit before I start saying 'ne' and such all the time. XD And such things.... I've always used it a lot, but gonna be more soon XD

and you would be surprised with what you could say.
like how long you've lived in certain places.

yeah I speak with the japanese students 95% in casual.
it's hard to sometimes get what they are saying but at the same time - it helps my listening.
it forces me to work harder.
But switching from that to speaking with my teacher is what is really hard.
